Daily Insight - New Beginnings & Change

Daily Insight 11-7

New Beginning - Listen to your inner being and trust your intuition ...
old things will fall away painlessly as you start something new. This
may be a new way of thinking, a new way of doing things or even new
projects and or work.

Change - Change strengthens us... to more we allow it the stronger we
become. I know it may sound strange but think about the changes you have
gone through so far and take a look at where you are now. Have you not
grown from your experiences? Have you not become stronger? Now you see.
Don't fight change... it's going to happen sooner or later .. why drag
out the process and make things far more complicated than they need to
be.

On another note: Anyone in the Nashville area wanting to come to the 3rd
annual Artlightenment Film and Art Festival this coming weekend I have
free tickets for anyone that would like to go. It's Thursday, Friday,
Saturday and Sunday .. the film festival kicks off Thursday and
continues through Friday then the art show is Saturday and Sunday with
free paint classes and lots of really awesome workshops. The art show is
free to attend the tickets will get you to all the workshops and the
film festival for all 4 days.

Here's a link to the e-tickets ... Hope to see you there!

11-11-11 and the full moon

Posted by: "holly@ravenoriginals.com" holly@ravenoriginals.com   hollyberrysheart

Mon Nov 7, 2011 8:01 am (PST)

Feel the magic in the air ... inhale and exhale the energy ... and
remember that what you send out... comes back. Now live the magic that
everyday brings and add to that magic wherever you are .. wherever you
go.

We have the 11-11-11 date coming up really soon, in fact in just 4 days!
Not only will it be 11-11-11 but also a full moon, how much more
exciting can it get??

There is no better time than the present to set out your magic tools,
your crystals and your stones to be charged by the moon light. Set them
out now so that by the time of the full moon they will be fully charged
and ready to use.

The full moon is a time to see all that you have worked for come to
fruition. Changes will be occurring and progress will be revealed.

A great awakening has been happening around us.. so many that were once
asleep have woken up and more and more will be waking up as the days
goes by. Right now we are in a 3 year stage of rapid advancement and
much will be revealed to us during this time. As a child, you remember
having a growth spurt and shooting up several inches over a summer
vacation... well this is a time for our spiritual growth spurt that is
taking place right now and you will see many jumping up many levels to
higher vibrations. Many will have their gifts come full circle.

I speaking of those who have always felt a great pull towards something
unknown. You have felt different from others. You have wished for a gift
that you thought you didn't have. The truth is you have always had the
gift you seek. You just didn't know how to develope, use and refine it.
Now is the time that your knowing will awaken to a whole new level. Your
gifts will be in full use soon.

Those who already are aware of their gifts will leap to much higher
vibrations that they even knew possible. Be ready.. it's coming!

The November full moon is the Snow Moon is also known as the Beaver,
Mourning, or Tree Moon. This is a good time to work with abundance,
prosperity, and the bonds of family and friendship. This is also an
excellent time to use divination to get an idea of what is up ahead.
Remind yourself that although winter is coming, it will not last
forever. Do what you can to reduce your stress and to strengthen your
bonds with family and friends. Back before the advent of grocery stores
and central heating, people really counted on those bonds, which could
be the difference between making it through the winter or perishing. So,
know who is really there for you, and count your blessings.

Many Blessings,
Raventalker

Today's Goddess: .Oki-Tsu-Hime  Festival of the Kitchen Goddess (Jap

Today's Goddess: .Oki-Tsu-Hime
Festival of the Kitchen Goddess (Japan)

Themes: Fire; Providence; Kinship; Health
Symbols: All Fire Sources (especially those cooked upon); Boiling Water

About Oki-Tsu-Hime: Oki-Tsu-Hime is the Shinto Goddess of kitchens in Japan. Here she
watches over all foods prepared and over family interaction to keep
health and emotional warmth in the home. Traditionally, any pot of
boiling water represents this Goddess's activity.

To Do Today: As in Japan, today is the perfect time to honor those people who
prepare your food (even if it's you!) Give your kitchen goddess the day
off and go out to eat. Or, alternatively, uplift the kitchen Goddess's
talents by preparing a truly sumptuous meal of all your family
favorites. Leave a small portion of each course on or near your stove as an offering to Oki-Tsu-Hime. Later, put these tidbits in the compost,
or outside for the birds, so the goddess' blessings will continue to
generate good things.

Light a candle today,
and get out some cleaning utensils to scrub the stove, toaster oven, or
microwave so that Oki-Tsu-Hime's energy can really shine in the area
where you prepare most of your meals. Symbolically, the cleaning process washes away sickness and negativity. Afterward, light or turn on that
appliance for a moment to draw the kitchen goddess back to her honored
place of residence.

Daily Aromatherapy Tip... Lemon

Daily Aromatherapy Tip

Lemon has high antibacterial properties. It's antiseptic properties will last for 20 days.

It is a powerful bactericide and great for kitchen clean ups.

Add to dishwashing liquid or any mild hand soap.

Use in a spray for disinfecting the air.

Keep a spray bottle handy for quick cleanups in children's playroom.

You'll find plenty of other uses I'm sure.

There is a secret hour of the night
when the goddess rises in the moon,
the great queen of all humanity,
full of power and majesty.
She shines on us, and all of us
are enlivened by her. all of us:
animals, both wild and tame,
and plants and trees, and even
rocks, clouds and oceans,
for everything has its rhythm,
everything has its ebbs and flows.
Whether in the air, on earth, or
beneath the sea, everything is hers.
~Apuleius, The Golden Ass

The moon
is, in many cultures, a symbol of feminine principle, representing the
powerful cycles of nature we see all around us. But these cycles are as
much within us as around us. Women, like the ocean, respond monthly to
the call of the moon, our bodies linked with that pale luminary glow
through our courses. But men may also respond to the lunar pull, in ways we do not understand without the visible evidence women's bodies
provide.

Male or
female, our bodies are saltwater like the sea, and like the sea we are
pulled by that great presence in our earthly sky, whom the ancients
called the Queen of Night. Living with nature's cycles attunes us to our connection with the universe and its mistress. Attending to the cycles
of the moon structures our lives into a natural ebb and flow, allowing
us to grow aware of our need to have both in balance.
