Notes:
As we know the goal is to live our lives magically in the moment every day in the now and while it would be nice to go and buy all the cool witchy stuff that is out there...their is so much in every day objects that we can use around the home.
So here is what I suggest...Post up an every day object once a week and let the creative juices flow and post up what we would or could possibly use it for magically.
I thought it would be kinda cool and inspiring...whatcha think..

My Encounter with a Hawk today

This afternoon while taking some paper out to the recycle bin at work,
I turned to go back inside and saw something move from the corner of
my eye. I turned to see what the movement was about and there was this
gorgeous hawk just standing there in the parking lot at the back of
someone's car.
You know me.. I quickly dashed inside, grabbed the office camera and
ran down the hallway as fast as I could. I ran into the office nearest
where it was standing and started snapping pics. It never once moved
so I thought… ok I'm heading out to the parking lot!
I eased the door open quietly, made my way around the building as
quietly and slowly as possible and continued taking pics. Still the
hawk never moved, so I inched out into the parking lot taking pics
continuously until I was about 10 feet away. I knelt down and it flew
up into a nearby tree.
I'm not one to give up easily so I made my way over as close to the
tree as possible and I was still allowed to get about 15 feet from the
tree before this beauty flew off and away.
What an amazing moment! I am honored to have been allowed so close and
still in a bit of disbelief that I was as close as I was!

Essential Authenticity
Revealing Your True Self
Our true selves exist whether we acknowledge them or not, often buried under fears and learned behavior.
Identity is an elusive concept. We feel we must define ourselves using a relatively small selection of roles and conscious character traits, even if none accurately represents our notion of "self." The confusion surrounding our true natures is further compounded by the fact that society regularly asks us to suppress so much of our emotional, intellectual, and spiritual vibrancy. Yet we are, in truth, beings of lightç"¨ure energy inhabiting physical bodies, striving for enlightenment while living earthly lives. Our true selves exist whether we acknowledge them or not, often buried under fears and learned behavior. When we recognize our power, our luminosity, and our divinity, we cannot help but live authentic lives of appreciation, potential, fulfillment, and grace.
At birth and throughout your childhood, your thoughts and feelings were more than likely expressions of your true self. Though you may have learned quickly that to speak and act in a certain fashion would win others' approval, you understood innately that you were no ordinary being. There are many ways you can recapture the authenticity you once articulated so freely. Meditation can liberate you from the bonds of those earthly customs that compel you to downplay your uniqueness. Also, communing with nature can remind you of the special role you were meant to play in this lifetime. In order to realize your purpose, you must embrace your true self by letting your light shine forth, no matter the consequences.
Rediscovering who you are apart from your roles and traits takes time and also courage. If, like many, you have denied your authenticity for a long while, you may find it difficult to separate your true identity from the identity you have created to cope with the world around you. Once you do find this authentic self, however, you will be overcome by a wonderful sense of wholeness as you reconcile your spiritual aspect and your physical aspect, as well as your inner- and outer-world personas. As you gradually adjust to this developing unity, your role as a being of light will reveal itself to you, and you will discover that you have a marvelous destiny to fulfill.

About Boldogasszony: This Hungarian mother and guardian Goddess watches diligently over her children,
wanting only the best for them, as any mother would. Her sacred beverage, milk, is also considered a suitable
libation when asking for this Goddess's blessing.
To Do Today: Hungarian wedding festivals often take place in winter, after the harvest season and meat
preparation. The traditions here are laden with magick we can "borrow" for building strong personal relationships,
asking for Boldogasszony's blessing by having a cup of milk present at any activity. For example, cutting a rope that
is attached to your home symbolizes your release from the old ways and freedom to enter into a commitment.
Stepping across birch wood purifies intentions and ensures a fertile, happy union.
Lighting a torch (or candle) represents vigilant devotion in a relationship. Do this at the time of your engagement,
as you recite vows, or as you both enter a new residence for the first time so that commitment will stay with you.
Wherever you are, eating off each other's plates and drinking from one cup deepens harmony (include a milk
product like cheese). Finally, dancing with kitchen utensils ensures that the home fires will always be warm

Daily Aromatherapy Tip
A CHRISTMAS POTPOURRI
3 c Fresh juniper sprigs -with berries
2 c Red rosebuds
1 c Bay leaves
1/4 c Cinnamon chips
2 tb Cloves
10 Drops rose oil
3 Drops pine oil
6 Drops cinnamon oil
1 tb Orrisroot chips
5 Whole dried rose blossoms
3 Three-inch cinnamon sticks
20 Assorted pinecones, painted gold
Combine the juniper, rosebuds, bay leaves, cinnamon chips, cloves, and cones in a big ceramic bowl. In a separate dish, mix the oils with the
orrisroot. Stir this mixture into the first one and put into a closed
container to mellow for a few weeks, stirring occasionally. Place the
potpourri in a dish and scatter the roses blossoms and cinnamon sticks
on top.

Christmas Spice Potpourri
2 cups dried pink rose petals and buds
1/2 cup dried bay leaves, crumbled
1/2 cup dried orange peel
1/2 cup dried pomegranate slices, chopped
1 Tablespoon grated nutmeg
1/2 cup small pine cones
1/2 Tablespoon orris root power
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoon mixed spices, lightly crushed: mustard seed, black,
green and white peppercorns, red spindle berries, juniper berries
10 drops frankincense essential oil
5 drops clove essential oil
20 drops orange essential oil
5 drops myrrh essential oil
