Hello
While not especially interested in watching YouTube videos about you, I was wondering where abouts you are from.

I am from Brisbane and follow a druid path via The Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids. Personally I find people's need to negate the use of 'titles' as telling as being able to express information freely and easily.

Melbourne Reclaiming Public Summer Solstice Gathering - 23/12/11

Melbourne Reclaiming Summer Solstice Celebration
Friday 23rd of December

Join us for a celebration of Summer Solstice and the peak of the Solar Year.  This is a family-friendly event - kids are welcome!

Where: Darebin Parklands, Alphington  (meet in parklands carpark at the end of Separation Street, Alphington)

When: Gather at 6:30pm, for a 7pm start - estimated finishing time: 8:30 - 9pm

What to Bring:
- food and non-alcoholic drinks to share for picnic
- picnic gear and rugs
- an offering to share in ritual
(ie. a song to sing/teach, a poem, a reading, a performance - lets honor the life-giving solar energy through sharing our creative flare!)

- percussion and musical instruments
- a torch, if you want to stay after dark - though the gathering will be finished before then
- comfortable shoes
- citronella oil to deter mosquitos
