In Need of a Ritual Robe

Posted by: "Grandfather Oak" robert_patti@windstream.net   grandfatheroak_wizard

Tue Feb 14, 2012 6:45 pm (PST)

Merry Meet,

I am in need of a ritual robe for myself and my wife but I must get one asap for High Priest has told me to get one before returning to ritual. I had been using a simple graduation robe. The problem is while there are many to choose from I simply can not afford the prices that most have on their robes. I am not seeking something for nothing – I do not mind paying a fair price but I may have to pay someone in two or three payments depending on the cost.

Who has an extra one hanging around or willing to make me one to fit a 5ft 7in man that lifts weights?

Are you clergy in the church? If not, why are you required to wear a robe. That's like not being allowed to go to a Christian church without a suit! It doesn't matter what you wear. It matters that you're there and your heart is in it.

Maybe one needs to look for another HP and HPS.
The robe don't make the witch. I work with several different circles. It one only the clergy wear robes. Another, only the HP and HPS wears robes. The 3rd, nobody wears a robe and they probably do the most magic.

Dear Cher,

Happy Valentine's Day!  The picture above of that adorable Dalmatian puppy isn't one of mine, but I couldn't resist sending her to wish you a very Happy Heart Day!  Even if you're single for this holiday, how about using it as an excuse to adopt a dog or cat from your local animal shelter or rescue?  Check out your town, Bloomingdale Animal Shelter or Tri-Boro Animal Shelter, or petfinder.com for the best, unconditional love you could ever want, and more!

I'm working on a Psychic Fair, scheduled for Saturday, June 9, from 11-4pm.  Details will be forthcoming as soon as they're finalized, hopefully this week!

As of this writing, if you're interested in a reading with Christopher Penczak, the only space I have available is on the waiting list.  Seats for his workshop, Goddess and the Cauldron, are filling fast.  Please don't delay if this is on your wish list.

Raven Grimassi and Stephanie Taylor will be returning in April.  Details are not finalized for their workshop, but readings with this dynamic and insightful couple are available.  Call now to reserve your space!

Click on the links to the right to read more about Raven, Stephanie, and Christopher, as well as all the other classes being offered this Spring.

If there's a class you're interested in teaching this Fall, please
fill out the form on the Classes page on the website.

I look forward to seeing you soon!

Mitakuye Oyasin,
Sandi

Product Power
Here's a little chant to whisper while you're using gel, mousse, or other hair products:
Smooth or curly, subtle or bright,
With my hair like this I look just right
For somebody who's right for me!
By my style, so shall it be!

Sock It To Me
While you're putting on socks or stockings, repeat the following:
One foot, two foot, stepping out,
Love walks into my life, that's what it's all about.
Adjust the heel, adjust the toe,
And soon my true love I will know.

With thanks to Ashleen
O'Gaea

Pre-Spring Herb Clearance Bonanza! - Buy 10, Get 30 Free!
As you may be aware, we have a whole bunch of herbs on clearance to make room for our new spring stock, priced at just $1 each (50% off regular price).
But for this Snow Day Special we've gone stark raving mad - quite possibly because we've had so few Snow Days this winter!
Buy Any 10 Herbs - Get 30 More FREE!
That's right buy any 10 herbs (including clearance items) and we'll give you 30 more from our clearance line completely free... Seriously!
Yes, it's possible we have gone completely bonkers... but you have to admit it's one heck of a deal!
To take advantage of this incredible deal, simply select the herbs you want from either our regular or clearance lines and add them to your shopping cart.
Click the picture to browse our enormous selection
Believe and You Will Receive
The more cynical of you maybe asking "what's the catch?" So, aside from respectfully suggesting that your life would be wonderfully enriched if you worked to keep your energy positive and your expectations high, we'll tell you that there simply isn't one. We're busy renovating the store and we need to make room for our new spring stock. For us this is a great way of doing this as it moves things along quicker and it makes sure that our clearance stock goes to people who are going to appreciate it.
The only minor drawback with this offer is that we get to choose which free herbs we send you - it's not possible for us to be able to let you pick and choose. However, we promise we're not just going send you 30 packets of the same herb, you'll get a great selection... so keep your expectations high - Believe and you WILL receive.
Remember, our Snow-Day Specials are time limited - in order to get the special price you must place your order online before midnight (EST), February 12th, 2012.

Regression

Past life
regressions are a process that allows you to experience one or more of your past
lives by putting you into a light state of hypnosis. This allows your
subconscious to remember back to a life time before the one you are in now. You
may see, hear, smell, or just know that you have experienced what your mind is
accessing. This can be a wonderful tool to help with issues in this life time,
helping to understand behavioral problems like phobias, or even picking bad
relationships. Past life regression can also just be an enjoyable way to see
what we've experienced in past life times also.

"Divine Prosperity Events" with Robert Alvarez, the Psychic Witch: M

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Tue Feb 14, 2012 7:35 pm (PST)

Good morning, everyone, and a Happy Thursday and Day of Jupiter (Planet of Prosperity) to all of you.  For those of you that know me, and those of you who do not, my name is Robert Alvarez, and I AM the Psychic Witch.  I AM also an Intuitive Card Reader, Energy Healing Practitioner and Metaphysical Teacher.

I have the honor and pleasure of leading two Beautiful, Powerful and Sacred "Divine Prosperity Events" in March, 2012.  The original name for this Event was "The Prosperity and Abundance Event for Abundant Finances," or "The Prosperity Event," for short.  However, Spirit Divinely Guided me to change to the name the "Divine Prosperity Event," and so I did.

The "Divine Prosperity Event" is for anyone who is sick and tired of being sick and tired of being broke.  It is for anyone who worries about money on a constant, if not multi-daily basis.  It is for anyone who has had limited or no success creating and manifesting a breakthrough, a Miracle or a step forward in anything pertaining to Financial Fulfillment, Money Miracles, Permanent Prosperity, Sacred Success or Oceans of Opulence.

Here are the logistical details on the upcoming "Divine Prosperity Events:"

SUNDAY, MARCH 11, 2012, 3-6PM--This "Divine Prosperity Event" shall be held at the Seasonal Health Wellness Center, located at 117 Washington Street, Second Floor (between First and Second Streets; the Uptown Realty is on the ground floor), Hoboken, New Jersey  07030.  201-857-2562 or info@seasonalhealth.com (for directions only, please).  The fee is $40.00, per person, cash only.  PLEASE NOTE: Daylight Savings Time begins on this date.  If you are going to participate in this Event, either in-person or Energetically/Remotely, please remember to set your timepieces (especially those not automatically reset) ahead one hour before you go to bed.

THURSDAY, MARCH 22, 2012, 7-10PM--This "Divine Prosperity Event" shall take place at TRS, which is located at 44 East 32nd Street, 11th Floor (between Madison and Park Avenues), New York, New York  10016.  You can call 212-685-2848 for directions only, please.  The fee is $40.00, per person, cash only.  PLEASE NOTE: Between 5-6PM on weeknights, TRS has an intercom system in place to gain entry into the building.  Scroll down until you see the access code for TRS, and when you see the access code for TRS, press the round key with the golden yellow handset symbol.

At both "Divine Prosperity Events," light refreshments shall be served and all participants shall receive printed materials and gifts.  In addition, I shall lead one Guided Meditation during each Prosperity Event.  However, because the "Divine Prosperity Event" at Seasonal Health is during a Waning Moon (from Full to New) the Guided Meditation shall focus on dissolving the energy blockages that prevent you from creating and manifesting Financial Fulfillment and Money Miracles.  Conversely, since the "Divine Prosperity Event" at TRS shall take place on the Night of the New Moon in Aries (Sign of New Beginnings), I shall lead a Guided Meditation for New Financial Beginnings (a Guided Meditation I have never led before in my ten years plus of leading Prosperity Events).  If you are someone who wishes to launch a new business venture this year, or bring new life into an already existing professional endeavor, this particular Event may be more
ideal for you.

Incidentally, for those of you that are unable to participate in person, you have the option of either Energetic/Remote participation, or you can schedule either an in-person or telephone private Prosperity Class.

In the past, people have expressed concerns, complaints, etc., about the length of my Emails.  I wish to make two comments about that.  First, I have a responsibility to my clients, students and friends to follow my Divine Guidance.  More often than not, the Innumerable Goddesses and Angels Are directing my hands to write what they wish me to write.  If I AM either incapable or unwilling to follow my Divine Guidance, then I have no business being a professional Lightworker.  Second, I have often joked with my friends that I could always write an Email that reads:

"I'm leading a class."

And nothing else.  I can clearly see the deluge, the avalanche of Emails from people with questions.  Questions that I have already answered in this Email.  Of course, if any one of you have any questions about either one of these "Divine Prosperity Events," my credentials, my experience, some of the many Money Miracles past participants and I have manifested, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you, one and all, for taking the time to read this Email, as well as honoring who I AM and what I do.  I wish all of you and yours a Beautiful, Powerful, Sacred and Divinely Prosperous weekend.

The Lupercalia was one of the most important Roman festivals, a rowdy fertility festival loosely connected to the legend of the wolf that suckled the twin babies, Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome, in her cave the Lupercal on Palatine Hill.

On this day, a band of priests called Luperci gathered at the Lupercal, sacrificed goats and a puppy and made offerings of a sacred grain mixture, mola salsa. Two youths were smeared on the forehead with the sacrificial blood, which was wiped off with swatches of milk-soaked wool. After a feast, they stripped off their clothes, wrapped themselves in the still-warm, still-wet skins of the sacrificed goats and ran around the circumference of the hill, striking everyone they met with goatskin thongs, called februa. Being struck by these whips was considered lucky for women who wanted to become fertile.

The whipping may have served several functions. It may have stirred up the blood. Or it may have been considered an expiation, a way of driving out sins and demons (as the Japanese expelled them at Setsubun by throwing beans (see Feb 5)). A similar custom is found at Carnival time in France and Germany: inflated pork bladders, said to contain the souls of the dead, are attached to sticks and used to beat members of the opposite sex.

When the Pope first tried to ban the Lupercalia in the 5th century, there was so much outrage that the papal residence was completely surrounded by the angry mob. He backed off and the festival was not officially banned again until the next century.

Feb 15: Lantern Festival
The culmination of the New Year's festivities occurs on the 15th day of the first Chinese lunar month, during the full moon, with the Feast of the Lanterns. The Chinese hang lanterns of all shapes and sizes from doorways. Popular designs include lanterns shaped like red carp and goldfish and sheep (because the word for sheep is the same as the word for good auspices). Also popular are multifaceted good-luck lanterns, designed to resemble a water caltrop, a root vegetable whose name in Chinese sounds the same as the word for good luck.

Sweet rice balls (yuan xiao), are the traditional food for this holiday. Traditionally they are made by dipping a kernel of flavored sugar repeatedly in rice flour and water to form successive layers. The balls are then boiled in water until the sugar center dissolves into syrup. The simpler version, usually served today, involves stuffing the sweet rice balls with red bean paste, sweet crushed sesame seeds or peanut paste. Making the rice balls is a family ritual and while they are being made, family members only mention good things, to insure luck for the coming year. Goddess Of The Day: SHAKTI Losar (Tibet)

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Tue Feb 14, 2012 8:25 pm (PST)

Goddess Of The Day: SHAKTI
Losar (Tibet)

Themes: Protection; Banishing; Communication
Symbols: The Number Six; Magic Charms; Lotus

About Shakti: The Tibetan supreme feminine power, Shakti does not stand by idly when
we are in distress. She is an active, loving force for change. When
called upon, Shakti manifests within us as intelligence, instinct,
willpower, energy, action, and ultimately, magick. Shakti especially
energizes communication skills, so that our words will be heard clearly
and understood.

To Do Today: Losar is the Tibetan new year celebration, highlighted by monks casting out negative influences using brilliantly colored costumes, masks, and
joyful dancing. Burn lotus incense (or any sweet, floral scent) to
remember Shakti today, and fill your living space with her abundant
power for postitive transformation. Alternatively, boil some
pleasant-smelling cooking spices in water to release their aroma and
energy throughout the sacred space of your home.

If possible, make a
mask or a token that represents what you want Shakti to banish. Put it
on (or carry it) early in the day, and remove it vigorously sometime
during your festivities. Bury this with six stones (to represent
Shakti's control) to symbolically bury the bad habit or situation,
giving it into Shakti's care.

In keeping with today's celebrations, wear bright-colored clothing to chase away evil
influences, which cannot bear the sight of radiant beauty.

Singing with Wolves Spell

Singing with Wolves Spell

An unusual
park can be found in north-central Indiana. It exists not for the people of the state, but as a preserve for wolves and other wild canines that
still roam this industrialized state. On Friday evenings, just before
sundown, a guide takes parties out to small hill. There is no light
except the Moon's. Everyone stands in silence waiting for the ancient
song of the wolves to begin. You may feel you've been holding your
breath when finally the first howl of the night is heard echoing from
another hilltop. Soon the chorus is picked up by the other wolves, a
discordant yet beautiful song. As you raise your head to join the
chorus, you may feel a primal stirring inside you. You know without
being told that this is an ancient magic. Wolves mate for life, and
often will remain in their birth packs unless dominance issues force
part of the pack out of the area. In honor of this love and loyalty, the Romans instituted the festival of Lupercalia, or the Festival of the
Wolf. Later on the church would rename this festival in honor of St.
Valentine. If you want to call out for a mate, or you wish to strengthen your bonds with your present partner or coven, go outside on Lupercalia Eve and raise your voice high in the ancient wolf song. This will help
bond you with your partner, and bond all who participate to beautiful
Mother Earth.  ~ Edain McCoy

Feb. 15: The Festival of Lupercalia

Yes! Another Love Spell

Yes! Another Love Spell

It all starts with two red candles and a small piece of chocolate. Light   the candles and eat the chocolate just before reciting this verse:

"Candles glow and love grow, Fill my heart with sacred play. Love be
near and love be clear, Open hearts so they can hear. Expressions of
love, joy, and trust, Not confused by want and lust, Magnify my love to
see, The heart whose love is meant for me. Love's great beauty, Love's
great truth Is in my heart and spirit too. Open my heart to the one for
me; Open my eyes so I can see. If another heart yet waits for me, Reveal
my soul mate, whe'er he may be. Make me wise to love as you. Reveal my
soul mate, loving and true. Fill my true love's mind with thoughts of
me. Happy, caring, loving, and free. Keep me happy, cheerful and true,
Patiently awaiting my lover new. True love will come when time is right,
May it be this very night. If time be right, and I be prepared, Speed my
love's journey with no time spared. So mote it be."
