with the most glaring error. Even allowing for lost records, reliable
scholars say that no more than 110,000 people were tried for witchcraft

people killed is 60,00 too many, but if this figure is off by a factor
of 10, or even 100, it would still not equal 9 million.
My Mind Immediate jumped to from a PBS Documentary Great Museums: The
National Museaum of Women in the Arts.
On a Trip to Vienna, Wilhemmina encountered the work of Clara Peeters,
1594 1657; and returning home she and her husband turned to their source
books to learn more about this artist; but they could find not one
woman, "In fact their was not one woman in the Leading Text in our
Country, Janson's History of Art till the year we opened." -
Wilhelmina Cole Holladay Founder-
Narrator: "During the early efforts to establish the museum, many
critics could not see the need to separate woman's art into it's own
museum."
"And I could certainly understand that, except they were separated, they
weren't included, and they weren't going to be included unless something
(...was done) a Heightening of the awareness occurred. Until we opened
there were hardly any exhibitions of women artists, less than 2% of
paintings in Museums were by women.
Wilhelmina Cole Holladay Founder-
I think it's just incredibly amazing that you can have all these women
artist who have been working all these centuries, and yet have them
totally excised from the history books.
Susan Fisher Sterling.
I think the largest misconception of Women in the Arts, "Are that there
are no great woman Artists"
Susan Fisher Sterling.
Art history is certainly not the only aspect of History, where Woman's
history has been supressed; but I do very much suggest you take the 1/2
hour you will need to watch this documentary; its beautiful and quite an
eye opener. You can almost certainly get it through your library.
Where we are talking about Woman's History, or Pagan history; because
they are often much the same, we most remember that History is often
HIS-Story; and the writers of HIS-Story do not want our story told, do
not want the burning to be true, would be happiest if they could prove
to their own Satisfaction that Witchcraft began with Gardener and their
was no Burning because there were no Witches to Burn. We should not be
collaborators in the suppression of our own history, but Fierce
advocates for our fore-bearers.
As I pointed out before 60,000 Cathars were killed in the Albigensian
Crusades alone, and thats taking the low end of "Reliable Scholarship."
And again I say, we do not serve ourselves well by letting best
Scholarship divy us up. OH 60, to 100,000 Witches, Half a Million
Cathars, A dozen or So Zoroastrians. If we chop and chop and chop; we
can make the pieces so small a good breath will blow them all away; and
Viola, no Buring at all!
No we should not participate in the cover up of this Holocaust.
Ama tu ANKI, BB.
I'll leave Gaia final reply in the thread because I do not want to get
into a ruckus here on this issue at this time. Blessings, BB

What do you wish to specifically learn about? Do you know how to cast circles? Call the elements? Set up an altar?

Help.....reading for my daughter

I am hoping that someone can help me. My daughter who is 10 has been seeing shadows and having scary feelings.
We moved into our place almost a year ago. A couple of months after moving in she would come out of the room at night crying and scared. She would not sleep in there for weeks. She said she was getting this over whelming feeling that she needed to get out and fast. She also felt that she needed to go back and get her brother. And she was seeing shadows. We thought that if we changed the room it might make her feel more comfortable. They were on bunk beds so we pulled them apart and put them across from one another. She felt much better after that. It's been 4-6 months since then and last night she came out crying. She turned and saw a large shadow move across the wall on her brothers side.
We have explored every reason for shadows in the room but there is nothing that could cause them. We are on the 2nd floor with no busy streets any where near. The parking lot is very small so there is no way car lights could shine through the windows and if they could it would not be on that wall. Over the winter put up thermal curtains that block the majority of any light.
She has always seen things as I have but she has never been scared. Over the summer I saw shadows around our bedroom but never felt afraid. I just need help finding out who, why & what to do to help her feel better.
Thank you so much!!!

My first action would be to smudge all doors and windows in the room with Sage. Even the closet door, inside and out. Be sure to get in the corners of the room and closet also. Even if it means moving things away from the walls to get the corners. Have your daughter help. Do it during the day time, and use a white candle to light every dark area, closet corners, room corners, every where. Ask your daughter to say her favorite prayer while walking clock wise in the room with the sage, or if she has a favorite Goddess/God have her call thier name to help chase away all negative energy from her sleeping space. Since she is the one seeing the shadows, let her do it. It will give her power and confidence to know she helped and that she called her own protection. And then if you want to you can add your energy to what she has already put into place.
Blessings and Light,
Thayna

I would definately have someone over to do a houseclearing. If she feels threatened it is a reason for the feelings. She is 10 and used to seing stuff, so if she feels she is targeted it isn`t a good environment to live and relax in. Probably not healthy at all. Could be a portalway or something in their room... so maybe they need to change room as the first step.
Inger Lise
(who lives in a tiny town in Norway, and knows at least 3 people who clears houses - so I guess there are a number of those in your town as well.)
