However,I do think this guy is indulging in a bit of self promotion,,ie "if anything goes wrong, I'm your friendly neighborhood Demonologist, exorcisms at at hourly rate etc etc" But perhaps I'm being a bit cynical.
That aside, some of what he says is valid enough. Yes there are dangers and I'd advise anyone without a solid belief system and a bit of training to be very careful with any form of necromancy. Yes it has its dangers, but so does crossing the road.
There are a few basic do's and dont's and providing these precautions are used, a session on the Ouija board risks no more than the participants needing a change of underwear if the vibrations build up unreleased resulting in the glass/pointer flying across the room and breaking. If this does happen, it most likely isn't because Satan himself has become manifest in the room and is there to take you all off to the pit for eternity, No... it an energy similar to that which causes poltergeist activity.
Do the spirits tell porkies? Oh yes indeed. It's a silly practitioner indeed that takes as truth things that come through in such divination. Personally..I believe the spirits do have senses of humour and enjoy pulling the piss from wide eyed tyros attempting to be mediums.
