Notes:
As we know the goal is to live our lives magically in the moment every day in the now and while it would be nice to go and buy all the cool witchy stuff that is out there...their is so much in every day objects that we can use around the home.
So here is what I suggest...Post up an every day object once a week and let the creative juices flow and post up what we would or could possibly use it for magically.
I thought it would be kinda cool and inspiring...whatcha think..

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVER...WALK WITH US INTO 2011

Happy 2011 Take a moment to reflect on 2010 as it draws to a close

The year 2010 has seen an unforgettable display of triumph and grief, success and failure, what has your year been like?

Happy New years Eve,

We have gone through a lot of challenges this year testing our ability to
keep afloat, there was times I wanted to just press the delete button
and don't bother with all the back stabbing and hijacking of NJ Pagans,
lost people that we're false friends, terrible slander, dangerous
stalker, but with all the Darkness what shined the Most was the True in heart that really cares about NJ and our community, keeping us together and stronger then ever, we have found so many people this year that are fascinating that is the light of NJ Pagans....

I have
met so many great people, lots of new stores, people have shared lots of new classes, interesting events, many more to come, we have shared so
many things together all year round that I can honestly say despite the
tremendous darkness that was laid over this Group, more and more of you
came forward and more of you pushed your light and love over us and
helped us get through it bring NJ Pagans back up and running at full
force more then ever!

"What other Magick is there in the world when Community comes together and builds a neighbor up!"

Thank you So much for helping us through the tough 2010 year and
helping me to see that what I've done for 9 yrs is definitely Worth
it....As we come together for the New Year lets come together and share, hold hands and walk in with our heads up and full force....2011 is
ours...Many Blessings, Healings, Health, Love and Light to all of you
for 2011!

NJ Pagans and our friends from all over.......YOU ARE ALL WORTH IT!!

Thank you all and have a Great New year!

Take the time today and Remember where we where and think about Were we're
going...also share your New Years Resolution with us, prayers and spell
works to help us through old addictions (addictions doesn't necessarily
mean drugs ) and working on keeping them off!

Think of the most important event, moment or phase you experienced this
year. Then check out the major planetary events of 2010, and tell us
Which impacted YOU the most or the least and why?

Kemet/Egypt:
Lucky Day of Sekhmet, the lion-headed goddess whose worship center was
Memphis. Nursing mothers would pray to her to let down their milk.

Scotland: Hogmanay - the Scottish New Year. It was traditional for men to dress in animal skins ,wear horns or antlers, and
smoke sticks called Hogmanays to ward off evil spirits. At the moment of the new year, people opened all doors and windows to
let out the old and let in the new. Pots and pans were rattled to drive off the last vestiges of the old year and welcome the new.

Zoroasterianism: Maidyarem - the mid year or midwinter feast. Continues through Jan. 4th.

Greek: The last day of each month is sacred to the Goddess Hecate (Hekate). In ancient times, worshippers would leave a
"Hecate's Supper" with specially prepared foods as offerings to Hecate. The offerings were also gifts to appease the restless
ghosts, called apotropaioi by the Greeks. These offerings are best prepared for the goddess on the eve of the new moon, to be
left behind at crossroads at night, without looking back.

Resource - See Festivals & Holidays: http://secondsightresearch.tripod.com/bodyandsoul/id2.html

New Year's Eve - Out with the old and in with the new. Before midnight, sweep and clean your house and take out all the trash because you don't want to sweep
tomorrow (you will sweep the good luck away) or take anything out of the house (you only want to bring new things in to insure abundance during
the coming year). Be sure you finish any work you have in hand for a
task carried over will never prosper.

Everything you do on New
Year's Eve and New Year's Day is freighted with significance. The
American custom of spending the night with the one you love and kissing
them at midnight insures that the relationship will flourish during the
coming year. In Vienna, the pig is the symbol of good luck. Pigs are let loose in restaurants and everyone tries to touch it as it runs by for
luck. In private homes, a marzipan pig, with a gold piece in its mouth,
is suspended from a ribbon and touched instead. In Sarasota Springs, New York, it's a peppermint pig that brings good luck and good health for
the coming year. The pig is cracked with a hammer after a holiday meal
and shared among the guests.

The first person to cross your
threshold after midnight brings luck into the house. In medieval
Britain, the best possible first-footer was a tall dark-haired handsome
man, who brought gifts of whisky, bread, a piece of coal or firewood and a silver coin. He entered in silence and no one spoke to him until he
put the coal on the fire, poured a glass for the head of the house and
wished everyone a Happy New Year. If this concept doesn't work for you,
figure out what would and make sure it happens.

One popular
method of divination, used to determine your future in the new year, is
to prick a newly-laid egg at the smaller end with a pin, and let three
drops of the egg white fall into a bowl of water. Interpret the designs
it makes to get a glimpse of what will happen to you in the new year.
Another traditional method of divination is to open a Bible at midnight
and interpret the passage beneath your finger. Kightly, Charles, The Perpetual Almanack of Folklore, Thames & Hudson 1987
Spicer, Dorothy Gladys, The Book of Festivals, The Womans Press 1937

Let’s celebrate! - In Denmark the New Year is brought in with even more noise than in most countries. Young people go around pounding on their friends' front doors. To raise the
New Year spirit even more, they throw shards of pottery, collected
throughout
the previous year, against the sides of houses. And we thought we had it loud!

Greece: On New Year’s Eve [St Basil’s Eve] children sing kalanda, from door to door; they carry an apple, an orange,
a paper ship, a paper star and a green rod cut from a cornel-tree. They tap the family members on the back with the
rod for luck. The householders give them treats. On New Year’s day this continues, sometimes with customary acts
such as stoking the fire and sprinkling wheat in the yard.

In many parts of the world the New Year is greeted with a lot of noise,
sometimes made by church bells. Originally this was to frighten away
evil spirits that might try to sneak into the New Year and try to spoil
it. People in the Northern Hemisphere sometimes lit bonfires for the
same reason.

New Year is celebrated at different times according to various calendars, eg Jewish, Chinese, Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu.

We have records from 4,000 years ago in Babylon of resolutions, as part of their New Year festivities. Often these were made publicly. To make
good any outstanding debts and return anything borrowed were the most
common. Today to lose weight and give up smoking are the most common,
followed by - making good any outstanding debts and returning borrowed
goods.

The ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans all had the tradition of parading
the first babies born in the year. In the 14th century the custom of
showing a baby with a banner of the New Year around it began, in
Germany.

In
Germany prowling demons & spirits of darkness must be routed this
night by mummery & lots of noise. People used to dress in straw
clothing with deerskin masks of animals & run through the streets,
clanging & dragging chains (Birt?).
Mobile, Alabama:
COWBELLION HERD ESCAPADE & REVEL honors Michael Krafft, who founded
mystic society, "Cowbellion de Rakin" in 1830, first of all the mystic
societies & crewes which stage the Mardi gras extravaganza in Mobile & New Orleans.
Japan: NAMAHAGE. Men dressed as devils go door-to-door screaming,

St Silvester's Eve - Austrians consider this a rauchnacht or smoke-night when all rooms and animals
must be purified with the smoke of incense and holy water, a
purification ritual.

In The Winter Solstice, Matthews describes
another Austrian custom, involving a masked figure called the Sylvester
(from the Latin sylvan, meaning "from the woods"), a sort of Green Man
who hides in the corner at inns throughout Austria and leaps out when a
young man or woman passes to give them a kiss. The Sylvester wears a
wreath of mistletoe, perhaps an emblem of fertility which he bestows
with the kisses. When midnight comes, he is driven out of the room as a
representative of the old year.
Matthews, John, The Winter Solstice, Quest 1998

Yemaya - Yemaya-Olokun, the Mother of the Sea, is honored on New Year's Eve. In Brazil, people
dress in white, go down to the ocean, light candles in the sand and
throw white flowers into the waves for Yemaya. Alma Guillermoprieto, the author of Samba, asked an older woman how she should pray and the woman suggested she say something like this:
Yemanja, our Mother,
please make [this year] a better year than [last year]. Not that [last
year] was a bad year; don't get me wrong; I received many benefits, many good things happened to me and I'm not complaining. But now, thinking
over everything that's happened, I would like to ask you for something
from the bottom of my heart:: please bring me twice the amount of good
things and take away half the number of bad. [p. 123] Luisah Teish provides suggestions for a beautiful Yemaya ritual in her book Carnival of the Spirit, along with good ideas for a New Year's ritual. Guillermoprieto, Alma, Samba, Vintage 1990
Teish, Luisah, Carnival of the Spirit: Seasonal Celebrations and Rites of Passage, Harper San Francisco 1994

Vesta - This day is set aside for honoring the Roman goddess of the hearth (see
Hertha, Dec 21). As Hestia, the Greek goddess of the hearth, she was
credited with the art of building houses (since every home was built
around the sacred central fire).

Robert Graves speculates that
the archaic white aniconic image of the Great Goddess found throughout
the Eastern Mediterranean represents a heap of glowing charcoal, kept
alive by a covering of white ash. It was tended by the woman of the
house and was the center of family life and clan gatherings. He also
mentions the Pythoness who induced trance by burning hemp, laurel and
barley over an oil lamp in an enclosed space, and suggests that burning
the same herbs over hot ashes would be just as effective for producing
visions because of their narcotic fumes. Graves, Robert, The Greek Myths, Penguin 1955

Today's Goddess:.HEKATE  Hekate's Day (Greece/Rome)

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Fri Dec 31, 2010 8:59 am (PST)

Today's Goddess:.HEKATE
Hekate's Day (Greece/Rome)

Themes: Moon; Beginnings; Magick
Symbols: Serpent, Horse or Dog (her sacred animals); Light (specifically a torch); Myrrh; Silver; Moonstone

About Hekate: This Greco-Roman Goddess rules the moon and opportunities. Tonight she
opens the path through which the old year departs and the new one
enters. People customarily worship Hekate at crossroads, where the
worlds meet, which may by why she became a witch's Goddess. On this, her festival day, she bears a torch, lighting the way to the future.

To Do Today: At the eve of a new year, take a moment and pat yourself on the back
for a full year of Goddess-centered thinking and action. Note your
achievements, and thank Hekate for helping you find the way when your
vision seemed clouded. An additional benefit here is that speaking this
goddess's name today banishes unwanted ghosts, including those
figurative ghosts of past negative experiences. Let Hekate take those
burdens so your new year will begin without anything holding you back.
To accent this
Goddess's power in your life throughout your celebrations today, wear
white or silver items, and light a white cande in her honor. For a token that will emphasize Hekate's magick and lunar energies whenever you
need them, bless a moonstone, saying :

Hekate, fill this silver stone;
keep your magick with me where'er I roam.

Carry this, keeping the Goddess close to your heart and spirit. Happy New Year!!

Conjuring a Goal Spell

Conjuring a Goal Spell

Our collective
focus now turns to the coming year, and to our goals, resolutions, and
new beginnings. To strengthen your focus on a new goal, select a card
from your favorite tarot deck that symbolizes your desire. If it's an
increasing or attracting goal, choose a night during the waxing Moon to
cast this spell. If it's a decreasing or releasing intention, choose a
night during the waning Moon. Light a white candle. Place your tarot
card in front of you. On a clean piece of paper write down your goal
three times, and place it in your wallet. Place the tarot card on your
altar. When the goal is achieved, burn the paper and return the card to
your deck.

New Years Rituals - From Starrwalk

New Years Rituals - From Starrwalk

These rituals are to be performed on New Year's Eve before the stroke of midnight....

*Place a dollar bill under a loaf of bread so you will have food all year long.
*Place a dollar bill under the New Year Calendar so you will have money all year long.
*Place coins in your pockets so you will have change for the New Year.
(some say this is to have money all year long.)
*At the stroke of midnight, open all doors, windows and cabinets to let out the
old and let in the new and allow good luck to flow through the home.
(You can use a window if you do not have a back door to open.)
*Wear polka dots on New Year Eve to draw money to yourself. Those
wearing polka dots will be entering the New Year wealthy since the dots
are taking place of the money that is to come.
*At the stroke of midnight, eat a grape for each stroke of the clock
(12- one for each month of the year) for good luck the whole year through.

These rituals are to be performed New Year's Day....

Eating anything in the shape of a ring is good luck as it symbolizes coming
full circle. Eating a donut on New Year's Day is considered good luck.

For dinner, prepare:
Black eyed peas for luck, place a dime in the pot as it cooks for good luck.
Collard greens or cabbage for money, bake a batch of corn bread and
place a penny in the batter for good luck. The person who gets the slice
with the penny will have extra good luck all year long.
In some cultures, it is good luck to eat rice.
Eat ham or pork on New Year's Day for prosperity.

Above all else, remember..... WHAT YOU DO NEW YEAR'S DAY...YOU WILL DO ALL YEAR LONG!

Indian Devotional Song To Kali

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Fri Dec 31, 2010 9:06 am (PST)

n the world's great market
sits a mother, flying a kite.
A hundred thousand kites
fly in the air above her.
She has covered her kite-string
with fine powdered glass.
It cuts the string of another kite.
Then, as that kite soars upwards
into free infinity, the mother laughs.
How she laughs! How she
claps her charmed hands!
~Indian Devotional Song To Kali

Everything must end. It should be possible to find as much joy in endings as there
is in beginnings. Yet we cling to the present, and resist acknowledging when it is time
to move on.

Each year we are given a small opportunity to learn to release the past. Each year ends,
moving into our memories. On New Year's Eve, we think about starting the new year. But
we are also ending the old one. It is a good time to examine our lives, seeking to discover
what we cling to that needs to be released. That release can bring joy. We only have to open
our hands, and let it drift away - the relationship, the ambition, the craving, the addiction.
Whether it was once good or not, whether it was something we had held for a long time or a
short time, we need to let it go. And as we do so, we can laugh in the freedom that follows.

Pine Tree: Earth Service Message from Bobcat

Bonus message from Bobcat

Greetings Friends,

The feelings of isolation and the feelings of solitude are closely
linked. Bobcat, my Friend, you have walked beside me in secret all
these years. I know you are there for me. I Thank You. Do you have
some words to share?

~*~

Yes, I am Bobcat, the solitary One from the Woods. I walk with you
in Secret only appearing for brief moments because my Power is
much stronger in Silence.

When I held the Snake and looked into Your Eyes I came with a
reminder that your Transformation and Healing is accomplished
only in Silence by the Grace of the Great Mystery.

To feed on Snake is to ingest the energy of the Earth Vibration.
Earth Changes are now opening in the People new faculties of
awareness in the Inner Bodies. Many are opening new Eyes.

This may feel unpleasant when you first see through to the Ugliness
and Pettiness of Yourself or those around you. Ignorance and
materialism run rampant in the World.

But remember when I came to you again last year? I walked before
you on the Path and patiently waited for you to follow and cross the
crest of the hill. This is the gift I humbly offer from the Heart of the
Divine Earth Mother. As you Walk Your Path in Silence through the
Secrets Within I will Patiently wait and guide each One.

Follow me steadfastly and you will see through the Inner Darkness
as I do. You will see into the Heart Core of the Mother which
illuminates each Child of Earth. Then you will know each One is
even now shining more and more brightly with Love, Gratitude and
Respect for all Life.

~*~

Thank You Bobcat.

Much Love, Pine Tree

Fri Dec 31, 2010 10:24 am (PST)

1 - Best known for his soulful voice on love songs like "If You Don't Know
Me By Now," R&B singer Teddy Pendergrass was a sex symbol in the 1970s. He
survived a car accident in 1982 that left him partially paralyzed and made
him an advocate for people with spinal cord injuries. On January 13, he died
at age 59 following a battle with colon cancer.

2 - She didn't even go into acting until her 40s, but after switching from
work as a medical lab technician, Zelda Rubinstein had a successful stint in
showbiz until her death January 27. Audiences will remember her best for her
parts in "Poltergeist," "Sixteen Candles," and "Teen Witch" -- roles that
usually had something to do with the supernatural. Rubinstein was 76.

3 - Actress Frances Reid played Alice Horton on NBC's "Days of Our Lives"
for more than 40 years -- so long that her character, the female center of
the show, had great-great grandbabies by the end! She last appeared on the
soap opera in 2007. The Texas native died at 95 on February 3.

4 - One of the stars of Discovery's "Deadliest Catch," Captain Phil Harris
collapsed after suffering a massive stroke in the stateroom of his boat
Cornelia Marie. He was hospitalized for 11 days before dying from
complications on February 9 at age 53. Son Jake, who along with brother Josh
worked on the boat and the show, later told *People* that he'd be looking at
his dad's captain's seat "in a different way."

5 - Designer Alexander McQueen, 40, was known for dressing fashion icons
Sarah Jessica Parker, Lady Gaga, Kate Moss, and others in his often
outrageous creations. He once built an entire collection around the Salem
witch trials! The high-end fashion crowd mourned after he committed suicide
in his London home, where his body was found February 11.

6 - Can you imagine the 1980s without teen idol Corey Haim, who acted in
movies such as "Lucas," "The Lost Boys," and "License to Drive"? Sadly, the
former child star went on to do several stints in rehab and, near the end of
his short life, starred with BFF Corey Feldman in the A&E reality show "The
Two Coreys" in an attempt to revive his career. Shockingly, he died on May
18 at 38, reportedly from natural causes that included a combination of
pneumonia, respiratory trouble, and heart problems.

7 - Long before Tom Cruise came along, Peter Graves was one of the secret
agents taking on "Mission: Impossible" on TV each week in the late '60s. The
83-year-old actor's career also included roles in "Airplane!" and "7th
Heaven" before his death on March 14.

8 - The voice of "Charlie's Angels" was silenced when John Forsythe died
April 1 at age 92. The silver-haired actor reprised his role in the movies
with Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz beginning in 2000, and in between he
played the ruthless Blake Carrington on the quintessential '80s nighttime
sudser, "Dynasty."

9 - Dixie Carter, the actress behind "Designing Women's" feisty Julia
Sugarbaker, passed away April 10 at age 70 from endometrial cancer. Since
1984, she had been married to her husband, 85-year-old actor Hal Holbrook,
who also played her sweetie on the show.

10 - The first time viewers tuned in for "As the World Turns" in 1956, they
heard Helen Wagner say the show's first line: "Good morning, dear." She
continued playing the role of the family matriarch, Nancy Hughes, until her
death May 1 at age 91. The CBS soap opera even mourned the loss of the
character in an episode before it went off the air forever in September.

11 - It was a tough year for the Redgrave family of actors. After suddenly
losing Natasha Richardson (the daughter of Lynn Redgrave's sister Vanessa
Redgrave) in 2009, "Gods and Monsters" star Lynn died of breast cancer May 2
at age 67. Her older brother, stage actor Corin Redgrave, died less than a
month earlier.

12 - Singer and actress Lena Horne, who died May 9 at 92, broke racial
barriers and was one of the first black entertainers to become a huge
mainstream star. (She also played the Good Witch role in Michael Jackson's
1978 movie "The Wiz"!)

13 - For most of the '80s, Gary Coleman's catchphrase on "Diff'rent Strokes"
was "What you talkin' bout, Willis?" In later years, he was most often
tabloid fodder, especially when it came to his financial woes and rocky
relationship with Shannon Price. The actor passed away at the
heartbreakingly young age of 42 of an intracranial hemorrhage on May 28.

14 - Actor/director Dennis Hopper, best known early in his career for flicks
like "Easy Rider" and later as characters like the villain in "Speed," died
at age 74 on May 29. About two months before his death from prostate cancer,
friends like Jack Nicholson were on hand as he revealed his star on the
Hollywood Walk of Fame.

15 - Thank you for being a friend, Rue! Rue McClanahan, who was best known
for her role as maneater/southern belle Blanche Devereaux on "The Golden
Girls," died June 3 at age 76. Her former co-star Betty White, now the last
living member of the group, said the loss "hurts more than I ever thought it
would, if that's even possible."

16 - Although he managed to beat cancer, comedian Robert Schimmel died
tragically in a car accident at age 60 on September 3. In life, though, the
funny man kept fans laughing as a frequent guest on radio's "The Howard
Stern Show."

17 - In the summer of 1999, boy band LFO's hit "Summer Girls," which
mentioned New Kids on the Block, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Chinese food, was
*everywhere*. Sadly, the group's lead singer/songwriter Rich Cronin lost a
battle with leukemia at just 36 on September 8.

18 - Crooner Eddie Fisher, who died September 22 at age 82, was once
involved in the biggest scandal in showbiz since the beginning of
Brangelina! He famously divorced his wife Debbie Reynolds to marry her best
friend, Elizabeth Taylor. (He and Taylor called it quits five years later.)
Fisher was also dad to actresses Carrie Fisher and her half-sister, Joely
Fisher.

19 - Actress Gloria Stuart was in her 80s when she was nominated for an
Oscar for her role as the older version of Rose in the blockbuster movie
"Titanic." Film critic Leonard Maltin said, "She was thrilled by the
attention that that performance brought her and really wanted to win that
Oscar." (It went to Kim Basinger for "L.A. Confidential.") Stuart passed
away at age 100 on September 26.

20 - Funnyman Greg Giraldo shocked fans of his Comedy Central Roast
appearances when he accidentally overdosed on prescription pills in a New
Jersey hotel before a scheduled stand-up performance. Giraldo died days
later on September 29 at age 44.

21 - Tony Curtis, who died September 29, will always be remembered for his
gender-bending turn in the 1959 classic, "Some Like It Hot," with Marilyn
Monroe. The former lothario's first marriage was to leading lady Janet Leigh
("Psycho"), which produced future scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis. He was 85.

22 - Barbara Billingsley portrayed the ideal mom on "Leave It to Beaver" in
the late '50s and early '60s. The actress signed off at the age of 94 on
October 16.

23 - We lost another parenting icon, Tom Bosley, who played Mr. Cunningham
(aka Mr. C) on "Happy Days," on October 19. He was 83.

24 - Jill Clayburgh, 66, lost her battle with cancer after more than 20
years of fighting it on November 5. She played "An Unmarried Woman" in an
Oscar-nominated role in 1978 and later starred in TV's "Dirty Sexy Money."
Clayburgh also had a role in Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal's romance
"Love and Other Drugs," which is in movie theaters now.

25 - Just don't call him Shirley! Audiences said goodbye to "Airplane!" and
"The Naked Gun" actor Leslie Nielsen, 84, on November 28.

26 - Veteran actor Steve Landesberg, best known for his role in "Barney
Miller," died December 17 at the age of 65 after a long battle with cancer.
He most recently starred as Dr. Myron Finkelstein in "Head Case," a Starz
original series that featured real Hollywood celebs going through fake
therapy sessions, as well as 2008's "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."

27 - R&B singer and songwriter Teena Marie, best known for the hit 1980s
singles "Lovergirl" and "Ooo La La La," died at her home in Los Angeles on
December 26. She was 54. The cause of death was not immediately made known,
though her friend, percussionist Sheila E, reported on Twitter that Teena
Marie had a history of seizures.

Jesus as a Goddess Advocate.....

Greetings,

In hindsight, it is telling that I gave little thought to Jesus until I
was no longer Catholic. Growing up in the Bible Belt of New Orleans, a
conservative Christian region of the southern United States, I was not
encouraged to question religious authority, much less express dissent,
but instead I was to accept as fact whatever was preached from the
pulpit on Sundays.

Wanted to share....please leave your comments.

Rebirth  December 31 Friday New Year's Eve

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Fri Dec 31, 2010 11:49 am (PST)

Rebirth
December 31
Friday
New Year's Eve

Color of the day: Purple
Incense of the day: Vanilla

As we all know, the end of the year is an excellent time for new
beginnings. Cleansing yourself with complementary alchemical agents can
enhance this opportunity for rebirth by drawing on the basic elements of life. In a large pot, bring the following
ingredients to a boil, then strain, cover, and let cool until warm to the touch.

1 bottle of red wine
1 apple, diced
1 book of matches (for the sulphur)
1 T. anise seed
3 T. sea salt
1 cup of apple juice
2 cups of pure spring water or fresh river water

When ready, stand naked in a full, warm bathtub. Lift the pot over
your head and drench your body in the brew of rebirth. (Do not drink the body wash). Feel the water embrace you as you return to the womb of the Great Mother. Allow your pains and sorrows to leave you, let her take
them from you. When you have finished, drain the tub. Feel this “water
break” as the inevitable force of change and when the water is all gone, slide or crawl from the tub and learn to stand once again.

Dream Journal

Fri Dec 31, 2010 12:04 pm (PST)

Dream Journal
Color of the day: White

Winter is a time of rest and reflection. In keeping with these quiet rhythms, begin the practice of recording your dreams in a dream
journal. If you’ve never had luck remembering your dreams, don’t
despair, these tips will improve your dream memory. It’s important upon
awakening to immediately record the dream and the emotion you felt upon
awakening. Designate a notebook for this practice. It also helps to say a prayer or an affirmation, such as, “I will remember my dream upon
awakening and I will record it.” The last tip is to date the journal
before you fall asleep. This signals your brain that you expect a dream
that night. As a separate practice, journal your thoughts during
daylight hours as to what your dreams might signify. Remember to trust
yourself to know what your dreams symbolize. Sweet dreams!

Roman Catholic WOMANPRIESTS & VajraMa/Natural Spiritual Authority of

Posted by: "karentate108" karentate108@ca.rr.com   specialjourn

Fri Dec 31, 2010 3:49 pm (PST)

Greetings Friends and Family,

Be sure to tune in LIVE next Wednesday, or from the archives at your
convenience.....

At the top of the hour we will have with us a recently ordained *Roman
Catholic Womanpriest*....The Roman Catholic Womenpriests movement is an
initiative within the Church that began in Germany with the ordination
of seven women on the Danube River in 2002, despite the position of the
Church when it comes to ordaining women: /The ordination of women
appeared on the list of most serious crimes against Roman Catholic canon
law, or "delicta graviora" -- putting it in the same category as sexual
abuse of children by priests /- /according to Vatican Information
Service/http://visnews-en.blogspot.com/2010/07/publication-of-cdf-norms-on-most.html
Hear more about this movement....*Roman Catholic Womenpriests (RCWP) is
an international initiative within the Roman Catholic Church. The
mission of Roman Catholic Womenpriests is to spiritually prepare,
ordain, and support women and men from all states of life, who are
theologically qualified, who are committed to an inclusive model of
Church, and who are called by the Holy Spirit and their communities to
minister within the Roman Catholic Church.* Needless to say we will be
discussing the misogyny, discrimination and oppression within the
Church, the reasons for it, and the growing demand for inclusiveness
and women's leadership in the Church.
http://www.romancatholicwomenpriests.org/

And crossing the threshold into the bottom of the hour a perfect bookend
to the first part of the show....

More on women's empowerment and spiritual leadership as *VajraMa*,
Foremother and Wayshower, Foundress of the Goddess Temple of Southern
Oregon, author, educator, sacred performer, creatrix of the Women's
Mysteries of the Ancient Future Sisterhood will discuss her new book on
the *Natural Spiritual Authority of Women *- what it is, why it matters,
the spiritual dynamics that are a part of a woman's body which are the
basis of female natural spiritual authority, how this spiritual
authority has been lost and how it is being reclaimed.

Time: 6PM Pacific You'll have to make adjustments for your time
zone. And the show is available later from the archives where you might
listen at your convenience.

I'm not going to discuss copywrite, intellectual property, or any of that legalese that has to do with owning a brand. . But I will present this:
http://www.catholic.com/library/Women_and_the_Priesthood.asp

And then I'm going to appear on the gridiron, with my pinstripes and bat, demanding they change the rules of football to accommodate me. Then open a Mason's Lodge and after that, claim initiation direct from somebody who read High Magic's Aid twice.

Now if these folks really want to call themselves Roman Catholic (having acted contrary to canon) then they ought to pay the same as all the others. I mean they need to mortgage or sell their parish property, attach the bank accounts and continue this into two or three generations, to pay a settlement awarded for offenses alleged many miles away and many years ago. They should be required to rebuild existing structures in order that no priest can go behind closed doors without a window, so that every parishioner engaged in youth activities must undergo costly and time consuming background checking and continuous sensitivity training until they are fatigued out of participating. Every one of them ought to be made to endure shame and distrust, especially those who are innocent and interested in doing good.
They ought to vote democrat while being called republican.
They ought to endure the heartbreak of seeing their children run off join to some bizar cult.
Lastly, to be truly Roman Catholic, they should be accused by their protestant neighbors of following the Antichrist and of being the agents of Satan on earth.
