OT: Ugg Boots Not Made for Walking

UGG boots weren’t made for walking, say podiatrists. Their loose fit and lack of support can lead to foot, back, ankle and hip problems.
Save your UGGs (or UGG look-alikes) for indoor wear. UGG boots may not be the best choice for everyday footwear, according to a growing number of concerned podiatrists. According to physicians, including Ian Drysdale, MD, head of the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, shoes that are excessively roomy and offer no support can lead to lasting foot problems, especially in kids and teens, whose foot structure is still developing. With no ankle or arch support, the foot slides around, which can lead to wear and tear on the joints, all the way from the foot to the pelvis. This, in turn, can lead to back problems. According to UGG Australia, their boots are made for comfort, not performance. If you’re going to be doing a lot of walking around, choose shoes that support the entire foot. Adding arch support inserts may also help.

Neck Wrap
This is helpful for a stiff neck or swollen glands.
2 drops Lavender essential oil
2 drops Bergamot essential oil
1 drop Tea Tree essential oil
2 Cups hot water
Mix together. While still warm, soak a soft cloth,
flannel is best, in the water and wring it out.
Wrap it around the neck.
Cover with a towel to hold in the heat.
Remove before it becomes cold. Repeat as desired.

There is a Master Plan. There are Natural Laws that run the universe. Everything on the earth has a purpose. Change is constant. That which is built is constantly being destroyed. That which is loose is being used to build new things. Nothing can be destroyed, only rearranged. Change will happen and every setback is only temporary. In other words, the Creator is in charge. We are not in charge. He designed the universe. He runs the universe and He will change what needs to be changed. As humans, it is easier for us to participate in all of this if we are spiritual. We need to be tuned in. Therefore, God gave us the spiritual concept of acceptance. When things change, we can change ourselves through the principle of acceptance.
Great Spirit, let me live today in acceptance of Your will. Today let us do it Your way.
