Notes:
As we know the goal is to live our lives magically in the moment every day in the now and while it would be nice to go and buy all the cool witchy stuff that is out there...their is so much in every day objects that we can use around the home.
So here is what I suggest...Post up an every day object once a week and let the creative juices flow and post up what we would or could possibly use it for magically.
I thought it would be kinda cool and inspiring...whatcha think..

For today's insight I draw 4 cards from the Vision Quest Deck....
(hmmmmmmmmm looking over at my cards laid out on the table there are
only 3 .... looks like Spirit asks me to draw another) ok now.. YES 4
cards are now drawn!
Abundance: An endeavor that you have taken on has come to its full
potential. The rewards from your hard work have been reaped or will be
very soon. The harvest has filled the root cellar and now there is a
time of emptying to make room for the next great harvest. You may feel
the void as the emptiness takes place but don't worry ... it will be
filled again naturally.
Sensuality: Be aware of your impact on others and act responsibly.
Respect the vulnerability of others and know the boundaries. Use your
intuitive gifts to guide you in a respectful manner. Doing this you
honor others and yourself.
Stress: Life reflects what is going on internally. When life gets too
chaotic and stressful take some time to step away and reflect... time
is needed to find yourself again. Do what you know is right for the
right reasons. Be mindful of how you react to your surroundings as
well as how you react to your own inner knowing. Fighting against
yourself gains you nothing but more stress and anxiety.
Courage: Courage is not just about being strong when tragedy and drama
reign but also when you find that strength inside to follow your
dreams and fulfill your destiny. Taking the necessary steps forward
into the unknown takes great courage. You have it inside you to create
greatness and manifest your dreams, your goals and whatever else you
wish. Use this boldness to continue walking forward and you will find
that your manifestations will seem to arise with ease.

About Lara: Lara, whose name means "mother of the dead," was the guardian of ancestral
spirits in whose care is the home, the family, and by extension, the
community. According to tradition, crossroads are sacred spots for Lara, being the meeting of two roads, symbolic of an area where the temporal
world and spirit world "cross" over one another.
To Do Today: In
Rome, Parentalia was part of a weeklong observance dedicated to one's
ancestors. So, pull out the scrapbooks, discuss your family tree, and
fondly remember those who have been a part of your family history. If
possible, light a white candle in one of your windows to greet the
ancestors and Lara. Or, leave an empty chair at your dinner table
tonight with some of the deceased's favorite foods in the empty place at the table to welcome them and Lara into your home.
This is also a time to
visit grave sites, leaving roses, violets, wine, and other gifts for the deceased. These actions propitiate the spirits and ensure the family of ongoing harmony through the year.
Finally, Romans settled any arguments with family members or friends today, so follow their
example. If you can, arrange to meet the person with whom you've argued
at a crossroads, so that your two minds can "meet in the middle."
Scatter rose or violet petals where you meet to inspire Fornax's
warmth.

Spell to Dispel Negativity
This spell, if properly applied, will dispel negativity, break curses,  and add protectionâ€"and so is essential for sensitive Witches. Â
To start, get a
green candle, some real or fake ivy, a green fruit such as pear or
apple, and a bell. Cut the fruit in four pieces. Arrange the ivy.Â
Place the slices of fruit in the four directions. Light the flame. Face north and chant:

By the powers of the northern light,
I break any negativity in my life.
Â
Ring the bell, and allow it to resonate. Face south, and say:

By the powers of the southern side, strong I am.
Let my powers rise.
Â
Face east, saying:

Wisdom is calling us, Sophia is calling.
Raising her voice, she stands by the city gates,
at the crossroads, on the mountaintop.
At every entrance she is standing, shouting

Listen to me, for I speak nothing but truth.
Know my ways, for they are richer than silver.
Know my secrets, and you do not need gold.

In Hebrew scripture, one of the most powerful figures, Wisdom ~called
Hokkmah in the original language and Sophia in the Greek ~ is feminine.
She is the most important aspect of human life, the quality without
which we would live like animals. She is more important than riches or
fame, than sensual pleasure or power.
Knowledge
leads to Wisdom, but is not Wisdom herself. And Wisdom leads, the Book
of Proverbs tells us, to justice and truth. But as this ancient text
makes clear, Wisdom is hard to find in the marketplaces of this world ~
the marketplace of ideas as well as products. She must raise her voice
to be heard over the din of commerce and competing interests. Yet, if we pay attention, she is there. She is still there, calling for us to
listen and follow her to justice and to truth....

After the last stage show ends on Saturday night, WE BEGIN!
Once again, as we do every year, Dave Ghoul, DJ Cub and I ( DJ Kiltboy )
plan to keep you up well into the wee hours with an after hours
exstravaganza!
KEEP THAT COSTUME ON!
In keeping with this years Halloween theme we are going all out and throwing what can only be called, THE WICKED COSTUME BALL!
As you're dancing the night away, Secret Judges will be roaming the
room searching for a King and Queen of the Ball. It could be YOU!
What time do we start spinning? The only thing I can honestly say is, right after Voltaire's set.
So, make sure you don't pass out at the end of the night, this will be EPIC!
