Holiday Getting to Know You

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? - Hot Chocolate!(with Kahlua?)

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? A little
of both when we were giving gifts.

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? Colored around the window &
the tree when we put it up. White around the porch.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?- Yes if I can find it. It's always at my
mum's house!

5. When do you put your decorations up? After Dec. 3 my youngest
daughters birthday. Around the second weekend of December

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? I stuffing
I guess, I used to love it with turkey and gravy but now we don't eat
meat so we don't put it in the turkey either.

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? I can't think of any. I guess
singing in the choir at Christmas. I am starting new traditions

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? What do you mean
;)?

9. Do you open a gift on Yule/Christmas Eve? I like that tradition, but
we don't really give gifts anymore.

10. What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him? None anymore,
there are no little ones around for the time being. Use to be the
brightly decorated sugar cookies in shapes of wreaths and stockings,
Canadian Maple Leaves or whatever was available.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? There are times when I think it is
beautiful, but it can be such a pain in the butt. I hate being cold.

12. Can you ice skate? Yes, but it's been a while!

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? A trip to India

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?
Friends, Family & connecting

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Apple Pie

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? We don't really have that
many anymore, it used to be putting up the tree with all our family
ornaments to decorate it with

17. What tops your tree? A Star

18. Which do you prefer: Giving or Receiving? Both!

19. What is your favorite Carol? I don't think I have a favorite
anymore. Maybe Jingle Bell Rock, I used to love them more when I was
little, singing in the choir and had a relationship with Jesus.

20. Candy Canes? Yes, on the tree.

I have discovered that hot chocolate with Amaretto is just wonderful :) Like hot
white chocolate myself.
