i think the problem was more medical. shielding should make you feel energiezed.
and maybe that mixed with your body and the energy came out a little  like a
dizzyness. that's just my guess.

I'm pretty new to all of this, and I have to be self-taught as I'm from a small
town. After reading a few different methods for sheilding and grounding I
decided to put it into practice and used visualisation to set up a sheild.
However, as soon as I opened my eyes I felt... not dizzy exactly but a little
disoriented. I let the sheild fall because I'm guessing that's not what it's
meant to feel like. Any advice as to what is the cause of the disoriention, or a
different method to use which will prevent this? Thanks, any help is greatly
appreciated.

Merry Meet to all! I would like to introduce myself, i'm crissy and i've been practising as a solitary witch for the past 4 years. I have 2 teenage children and married my wonderful husband on 1st of May this year. My family are very supportive of my chosen path, but I sometimes worry that the books I read or the websites I find may not always be the best info, although while i've been going through the messages on here, i've found that I actually have a better knowledge than I thought! It's good sometimes to have confirmation that what I am learning is right or right for me

I'm here to carry on learning and maybe make a few email buddies along the way
Blessed Be x

Hi Karin
I'm crissy, i', also a new member in this group. I've practising as a solitary witch for the past 4 years but there is still so much to learn and thats my reason for being on here. It can be difficult sometimes to verify the information I gather from books and websites and hope that this group will help me in my path
blessed be xx
