There is sure to be a lot of activity today being the day after
Halloween and 11-1-11.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about
the Angelic or Master Numbers.
So here is some information about the numbers 1, 11, 111, 1111 and any
other combination of the 1s.
This first snip comes from http://www.angelscribe.com/1111. html:
"Whenever you see the sequence 111 or 1111 show up, it is a great sign
of a golden opportunity. Both sequences mean that a "doorway" has
opened up in which your intentions and goals will manifest extremely
quickly. The Angels have taught me to focus my thoughts and intentions
whenever I see 111 or 1111, almost like making a wish when a cake with
candles is presented to you."
I find this so true. I have noticed that since I began to recognize
these sequences of numbers, straight away I have a mind set for
blessings, gratitude and positive thinking. I thank the angels for the
nudge and I can't help but feel really good inside when seeing these
numbers. It's not just the numbers 11 or 111 it is any combination of
triple digits. Each with their own significance.
Lately I have been seeing 666 a lot. This tells me to change my
thoughts. What I have previously conceived to be bad is not neccisarily
so. Previously, my thoughts toward the 6s came from early childhood
conditioning. Growing up in the bible belt of the South, we are taught
that the 6s are evil, thats the Devil's number, the mark of the beast.
Can you imagine that poor number 6 and how it must feel to have such a
bad reputation for no real good reason at all. So now when I see the 6s
I smile and acknowledge the message and the goodness that can be found
in that number and dispell any negative thoughts that may come to mind.
Ok back to the 1s. Today is indeed a magical day filled with endless
possibilities for us all. We simply need to recognize that the
possibilities exist and that they are within our reach. We then need to
take positive action to walk forward in our lives to bring about the
changes that we wish to see.

Do some protection to your home with this bit of kitchen magic. Place an uneven number of peppercorns into a mortar and pestle. Begin grinding, focusing on the energy of the peppercorns spreading out to surround your home and those living within it. Grind them well while charging them with protecting all you hold dear. When done, place the ground bits into a small bottle or jar. Add some sharp, pointy bits such as thumbtacks, pins, or needles. Seal the bottle and place out of sight in whatever room you would consider the heart of your home.

With Face book on the up rise yahoo groups are quieting down, I have made some groups on facebook with our friends on it, here are the links for those that are on or interested in keeping chat going...
We have been together for such a long time lets keep it going.
First off.....Use us...Don't Forget what NJP & our Sisters Groups are Really About
New Jersey Pagan Yahoo group has all the info on there, Stores, Dates, advertisements, 1500 NJ Members to chat with (About 5000 total with all members on each service), Database and files full of info, active calender to share reminders and more!
I am not closing the groups down but if you need anything that is where I have it all, I can not chase everyone all over Face book, if you want your stuff to be sent out I need it posted on New Jersey Pagans or Which Witch is Witch Yahoo groups!!
Some do have my emails that send me info but the Yahoo group is my base group and if you want to continue things moving in NJ and our neighboring states...I suggest keeping that group active by stopping in and sharing with us!
I'm not going to continue if it's a dead group, I've support everyone for years so would appreciate support back by keeping this group moving so we can share what's going on around us and stay together as a community, I'm asking that I am not the only one trying!! Cher

Hi and Welcome to all our newest members, our group gives off a lot
of emails and if you feel your inbox has become over welmed with mail from us, we suggest using Daily Digest and read off the group, that way you will recieve 2-3 emails a day instead of 100 LOL (smiles)
Also anyone who has online stores or links to thier personal stores, we have in our link section a folder called "Witches Mall" you are more then welcome to add your stores in there so we can shop off our group!
Files, links, photos, calendar is open to everyone, feel free to use and add new info if you like, photo albums, everything is open to everyone here.
On our Database, for all you Myspace people, there is a table in there to add your link to your sites also and a table for specialties for anyone that is interested in adding thier info in there to help in emergencies like: Venders, food, supplies, anything for event's. That's a big help if anyone is interested in leaving thier info in there.

Stone Soup Opening up and Sharing Emotions
Today lets make our Brew together, remember that story of stone soup?
Lets beging with adding things to our pot, this is a sort of meditation and does take imagination and visualization, you have to live and feel the part of our brew as we share together.
What I'm going to suggest is that simply you say one thing that is bothering you or making you feel down about yourself or life, visualize yourself standing in front of the couldron, feel the heat and see the brightness of the fire glow around the pot and against your body, simply then think of something that would help you or make you feel better and can even be something nice towards someone/or memory to make you feel better then we toss that into the pot as an ingredient. After you toss your Positive good thoughts you will then take a large paddle and stir the brew and as you turn it 3 times you will say your new positive intention and then we move on to the next person until all our good intents are then made into this large good soup together where we heal and share our feelings and friendships.
Ok lets begine, I close my eyes and visualize a huge black cauldron over an amazingly large fire, flames appear soft and wrap it's arms around that pot as it begins to bubble and steam rises as if arms and little hands hold that pot tight for us to add all our good intensions and good ol positive energy full of healing, happiness, friendship and love!
So I walk up to this amazing Pot and I'm going to share:

Tired of Arguments that make me feel like I'm invisible with my family so for today only, I will not argue and let these things bother me
I surrender myself and will be the better person and do something that makes me happy today....I think of potatoes LOL because they can change into so many different things as you cook them and I am amazing all all those different ways. The Awareness Shop is holding a Psychic Fair on Saturday November 5th
Our October Psychic Fair was snowed out, so we are going to try again this Saturday from 12-5!
If you've never been to one of our Psychic Fairs before, it's about time you 'took the plunge' and come join in the fun... There's a whole lot going on!
Today, $10 Bucks Goes A Long Way!
For starters, you can get a reading from one of our talented psychics for just $10 for 10 minutes.. if that's not long enough for you, you can book up to 1 hour with the same reader, in ten minute blocks... or, should you prefer, you can get a whole bunch of readings from several different psychics! (if you feel like you need a second, third or even fourth opinion)
We also have Chair Massage and Reiki Sessions available throughout the day - also just $10 for 10 minutes
Plus - Lisa has said she intends to practice many 'random acts of kindness' throughout the day... who knows what they'll be.. could be anything from a simple hug or blessing through to crazy discounts and free stuff.. it's all down to how the spirit moves her!

A Message about New Beginnings from Robert Alvarez, the Psychic Witc

Ladies and gentlemen, as most of you know, I AM a professional Psychic Witch, a Metaphysical Teacher and an Energy Healing Practitioner. I have other titles, but my clients, students and friends come to me most for my Psychic Services that correspond to those titles.
However, what you may not know is that this year I AM more Clairvoyant, more Empathic and more deeply connected with the Goddesses, Gods, Angels and Fairies (and now Saints!) that I serve. Sometime around between 2-3AM this morning, these wondrous Celestial Beings Divinely Dictated to me this Email. And here it is...
There are many ways to create new beginnings in one's life. And there are many calendar dates that can help us do so.
In virtually all Numerological Systems, the Number 1 is the Number of New Beginnings, Creation and Initiation. On any First/1st of any month, you can create a New Beginning in your life at any time. Today is November 1, 2011. A Tuesday, a Day of Mars, a Day of Taking Decisive Action. What decisions or choices shall you make today?
And if your intention does not manifest by Wednesday, November 30, there is always Thursday, December 1, 2011.
PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOT writing about resolutions. I AM writing about what you can do, say, think or intend to create New Beginnings in your life. January 1 is the New Beginning of the Calendar Year, however, there are other dates that can be used to create New Beginnings in our lives.
Another date is your Birthday. Yes, your Birthday! In the Western Astrological System, your Birthday marks the beginning of your personal calendar. For example, my Birthday is January 8 (the one that is shared with Elvis Presley, also known as "The King," or "Saint Elvis;" indeed, the Elvis that does not need to be introduced with his last name). On Sunday, January 8, 2012, my new personal year begins. Your Birthday is also an excellent to create New Beginnings in your lives.
For many Witches, Pagans and Wiccans, Samhain (correctly pronounced SOW-when, NOT sam-HAIN), also known as Halloween is the Witch's New Year. In Traditional Wicca, it is one of the BEST times of the Wheel of the Year to surrender and release the past and welcome New Beginnings. If you are open and willing to expanding your horizons, you can also look to other religions to see when their New Year begins and use that as yet another opportunity to create New Beginnings in your life.
Of course, every good Witch knows that every month has at least one New Moon. In Moon Magick a New Moon is the BEST time to create, initiate, intend and begin anew.
Finally, as Louise L. Hay--one of my favorite and most beloved of Metaphysical Teachers would say--"The point of power is always in the present." Every moment of every day, and every moment of every night, you have the power right now, right now, right now to create something, to initiate something (or someone, as the case may be) to set an intention, to make Magick, to welcome something that waits on your welcome and not on time...

I hope everyone had a very blessed and wonderful Samhain!
This Saturday, please join me in welcoming Jaime Fuchs, a local artist who gathers sea glass at the Jersey Shore and creates wonderful jewelry with it. She will display her jewelry in the classroom from 11-4pm and would love to spend time explaining how she creates her pieces. These also make great holiday gifts at a wonderful price. You can read more and see some examples of Jaime's work at the link to the right.
Next week, please make some time to stop in and meet the authors of "The Code: Unlocking the Ancient Power of Your Birthday." Johanna Paungger and Thomas Poppe will be here from 1-3pm to explain the system that is outlined in their book, provide some history on it, and then give a gallery-style reading for the audience. This event is open to the public but I do request that you call to reserve your seat. Please click on the link to the right for more information.
It's not too early to think about holiday gift-giving. For the best selection, please don't wait till the last moment. We are all feeling the pinch of these tough economic times and I will not be ordering as often during the season as I have in the past. If there's something you're interested in purchasing, do it sooner rather than later so you can be assured you get the item you wish.

As we start to make our holiday plans, some of them might include traveling to see loved ones. This little talisman will help keep you safe.
Gather all or any combination of the following dried herbs and flowers: Rose Petals, Lilac, Foxglove, Devil's Shoestring, Wormwood, Orris Root, and Witch Hazel.
In the morning (if at all possible), face East and place a Moonstone or Turquoise in a white pouch and add the herbs. Visualize a safe and pleasant journey and a joyful return home as you tie the pouch closed with a ribbon or string, making three knots. Repeat the following each time you tie the knot: "Safe Journey, Safe Return, So Mote It Be."

Letter to the Deceased Ritual
Incense of the day: Gardenia
This was one of
the days the ancient Romans set aside to communicate with the dead.
During November, the spirit world is drawn closer to us, making it
easier to contact those who have departed this earth. One way is to
write a letter to the deceased. This is a very loving and solemn act
which shouldn't be taken lightly. Begin the ritual in the evening at
dusk. On a bare-wood table place the following: three candles, (one
black, two white), one white feather, a piece of white paper, a
black-ink pen, and a photograph of the deceased. Light all the candles
and say: "You who have passed through heaven's gate, you who I
mourn—receive this letter I'm about to write." Write your message using
whatever words are on your mind. End the letter by wishing the spirit
peace and rest. Extinguish the candles and fan the smoke toward heaven
with the feather. Bury the letter facing the west. Your letter has been
received.

Daily Aromatherapy Tip - Germ Fighter Spray
We've all been told to wash our hands more frequently. Here is an antiseptic, germ fighting spray to use on
cuts and scrapes. May also be used as a room spray.
12 drops Tea Tree
6 drops Eucalyptus Unrectified
6 drops Lemon
2 oz. distilled water
Combine ingredients and add to spray bottle. Shake gently before use.

All Souls' Day, or the Commemoration of the Faithful Departed
Celebrated much more in former days, on All Souls' Day (the day following All Saints or All Hallows' Day) people
prayed for the souls of the dead, particularly those believed to be in Hell.
It was celebrated in the Roman Catholic Church which has set it aside for a service for the repose of the deceased. In
England it used to be observed by the ringing of the soul bell, the eating of soul cakes (flat, round, spicy cakes), and
the blessing of beans.
(A bell, the "passing bell" was also rung when a person was in extremis,
to scare away evil spirits. [Similarly, the ancient Athenians used to
beat on kettles at the moment of one's death, to frighten away the
Furies.] )
The English would distribute soul cakesto the poor who went a-souling at the church door.The poor would say:
Soul, soul, for soul cake,
Pray you, good mistress, a soul cake.
Papers called Soul-papers were given away with these cakes. They contained requests for prayers for the souls of the departed.
Soul Cakes
Ingredients:
Two sticks butter
3 and 3/4 cups sifted flour
1 cup fine white sugar
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg or mace
1 teaspoon each, cinnamon, ginger, allspice
2 eggs
2 teaspoons malt vinegar (or cider vinegar)
Oven: 350 degrees; bake 20-25 minutes
Cut the butter into the flour with a pastry blender (or a large fork). Blend in the sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and
spice and mix to a stiff dough with the beaten eggs and vinegar. Knead thoroughly and roll out, 1/4 inch thick. Cut
into 3-inch rounds and set on greased baking sheets. Prick cakes with a fork and bake. Sprinkle lightly with powdered

Each one of us, during
our lives, suffers many losses. Most significant are the deaths of
people we loved and who loved us in return. Most painful are the deaths
of those who we loved, but who never gave us what we desired, for all
hope is then cut off.
There is even pain in the deaths of those whom we disliked, for hatred is a form of connection that death severs.
But there are other
losses we must mourn. A pet who loved us, a special dream, a dear
possession - we lose these, and more, during our lifetimes. Grief, with
its attendant angers and outrage, is an uncomfortable emotion for others to experience. Yet grief can poison us, if unexpressed. Finding ways to grieve fully is a challenge. But, if we do not meet it, we grow twisted in our pain.
