Hi All,

In our last post a mediation on the Element of Air, we Centered and
Called a circle. at the risk of being redundant I wanted to back track a
little here.

To achieve anything Magickally, you will of course have to spend a
certain amount of time in "Sacred Space" or non-ordinary states of
consciousness, the details of how you achieve that will depend on your
trad, but will almost certainly involve consciously taking control of
your breath...

I myself breath deeply and slowly while chanting the Ama several times.
In Circle of Isis, Ellen Cannon Reed Devotes a short, but important
Section to sacred breathe ... or Four Fold Breath, You begin by
establishing a rhythm of ...

In ... two...three...four
Out... two...three...four

When you are settled into your breath you can replace it with a Mental
chant. Ellen Gives ...

In this moment, we are not yet really looking at contacting a Deity, and
and so a simple honoring might be more in order.

Of course I just pace the Ama to the Breath.

This is important too ... While a chant is much more condusive to a
gnostic experience than the normal clutter in your normal mind space, it
is still YOU actively thinking about something. A cycle of Chant, Pause,
Chant leaves the universe, Diety, God/dess however you describe the
unknowable an opportunity to speak to you; which is after all the point.

Don't expect the Angel Gabriel to come knocking with an Entire Koran
to dictate to you; that's highly unlikely, but you might get some
small thought that speaks to you and may well have been gifted to you by
another source; use your own judgment about that don't be too eager
to embrace or dismiss the idea try to keep an open mind, devoid of Ego
and Bias as possible.

Don't expect much more,
In my 10+ years relationship with Nan she has very seldom chosen to
'speak' to me without the aid of the cards; but at times she has; I feel
quite sure that is also true.

Well that's more than enough Verbage for now .. Take a few moments,
Practice your Breathe, move on with your day.

As you get up, you might consider this ...

Touch your Brow, Your Lips, Your Bosom;

As you do say to yourself -
In my Thoughts, On my lips, In my Heart. Ama tu AnKI.

or however is appropriate for your goddess; this simple blessing is a
wonderful way to keep the Goddess in your thoughts through out the day.

I do not mean to thump, my relationship is with Innana, my examples
there-fore needs be must speak to that relationship, please do take a
moment and consider how to use those examples as a model for honoring
God/dess as you see her, in the context of your trad; none of this is

Hi All,
We have a Taurus full moon tonight, a very auspicious night for matters of health and wealth, While the moon reached Zenith at 12:27 pm, we still have a lovely and powerful lady in the heavens tonight to call upon.
Full Beaver Moon – November This was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests that the name Full Beaver Moon comes from the fact that the beavers are now actively preparing for winter. It is sometimes also referred to as the Frosty Moon. - Source The Farmers Almanac.
