I do not know of this website but it sounds quite lovely and enchanting, I myself wish to see it.

I have asked others that I know of on the web, the more people we ask the better chance we have of finding it, it may take time, but certainly not impossible. If you happen to remember any part of the website please share that also, if we carry on we will find it.

Thank you for sharing

Thank you - her daughter's name is Makayla. Cutest little thing. The
only symptoms now are that she doesn't move her legs very much...her
pediatrician became concerned and sent them to a neuro.

is in critical need on the east coast. Her name is Sharon. She is like a
grandma to her kids. Please light a candle, send healing energies and
prayers to Liz and the kids but to Sharon first and foremost. Thanks. <3

Happy news!

Dee's been cleared to return to work. He'll still work from home but
he can have a full case load and, should the need arise, he will be
allowed to interview suspects. They probably won't ever put him back
out in the field --- too much risk of being hurt again, since he's
stuck with that feeding tube for life --- but this is good enough for
him so it's good enough for me. A big crate of files arrived for him
yesterday and he's been holed up in his office pawing over them ever
since.

I'm holding my own with the chemotherapy; the shot always makes me
sick and miserable, but it didn't seem to be too bad this time. I'm
only tired and so sleeping a lot. The doc is stepping down the oral
medication and we can discontinue it within a month or so unless the
condition flares up without it. He's hoping for remission and so am
I. In that best case scenario, I take the shot once every three
months for the rest of my life.

I'd been missing my salads --- cannot digest them any more --- but a
cookbook dealing with chronic illness had an interesting recipe for
salad soups in it. You make the salad then blend the ingredients into
near-liquid, after which you add cream and stock to balance it out.
We tried it with a Greek recipe...and it tastes just like the Greek
salad which has NOT been blended. Icky as it sounds, it works and it
made an absolutely delightful cold soup (still hot here, so cold soup
is more than acceptable).

The boy is happier than I've seen him in a long, long time; I think he
was fearing they would make him retire. Dee has this compulsion where
his job is concerned; he says that the living can speak for themselves
but the dead need someone to speak for them and to make sure they have
their justice. Maybe now that he can travel some, they won't have to
keep bringing such gruesome evidence bags to the house for him to
appraise. They leave terrible, terrible vibes which are very
difficult to cleanse out of the house and they upset all my astral
critters for days afterward.

So glad to hear that things are better for Dee!

  I'm sure you must be happy that you have found a way to have salads  :)  I think of you often and you and yours are always on my prayer list for health.

Love, Light and Abundant Blessings,
LadyHawk

Popping In...

I've been busy for the last few days and haven't had a chance to get online.

Wasn't the Full Moon beautiful the other night? So orange at Moonrise!

I've got the names for the Healing Circle, and will head out soon. Hope to catch up online tonight.

Fran, glad to hear everyone is improving, and you can have salad again, even in that form. I've always liked cold soups, especially in such hot weather!

The light of a hundred stars cannot equal the light of the Moon.

Love Each Day,
Lady Nightshayde

Reguarding healing circle from a few weeks ago. I had remorse issues with an old friend passing. Good news came out of it. I had talked to her boyfriend and we both agreed to let bygones be by gones. I feel more at peace with her passing. He said he will even take me to her grave site. Blessings Jenny.

Traditional Irish Soda Bread

Traditional Irish Soda Bread
Wizard 9-15-2011 4:15AM

Soda Bread what it is, wasn't invented by the Irish, the Native Americans, are credited with the earliest reference to using soda ash in baking bread using it to leaven their bread. Making Soda Bread was taught to Colonists in the states by the Native Americans. Soda Bread was came into Ireland in the early 1800s, when Bicarbonate of soda was first was introduced to Ireland around the 1840s. The Colonists use a all purpose cast iron pot call a Dutch oven.

Ingredients for Irish Soda Bread Recipe
4 cups Bread Flour {All-purpose flour works}
1 tablesoop baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon, baking soda
2 cups buttermilk (pour in a bit at a time until the dough is moist) substitute {soy milk works just fine too, or use regular milk combined with 2 teaspoons white distilled vinegar or cider vinegar, to mix , or combining two cups of fresh milk with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or distilled vinegar, in about 15 minutes you will have a substitute for buttermilk.} the recipe works better with buttermilk.

optional Ingredients
1 teaspoon sugar (optional: you can absolutely omit this if you prefer sugar free soda bread)
1 egg {optional}
1/4 pound (1 stick) butter {optional}
raisins, or various nuts. {optional}
The Irish didn't invent Soda Bread it is most often identified with them. If you add raisins, to your "soda bread" it's called "Spotted Dog" or "Railway Cake." If you add raisins, eggs, baking powder, sugar or shortening, it's called "raisins cake", not "bread."

Preheat Oven to 425F. degrees
Stir together the sifted flour, sugar {optional}, baking powder, salt, and baking soda
Add the buttermilk and egg {optional}, to the flour mixture.
Mark a large 1/2-inch deep X with a sharp knife and
bake soda bread for 35-45 minutes.
Test with a toothpick for doneness
Remove from oven and cool on a rack.
