Journey to the Summit

Posted by: "holly@ravenoriginals.com" holly@ravenoriginals.com   hollyberrysheart

Wed Sep 14, 2011 6:01 am (PDT)

I wrote this earlier this year but thought it was worth a re-share :-)

I should first explain …. below is a vision I had one afternoon on my
way home from work …

Today the Grandmothers came for a visit …

Straight away one of them came over and grabbed me by the ear and said
"come on, we must go".
"Go where?", I asked … "nevermind that, just come on".

They said we had to get to the top of that mountain … as one of the
grandmothers pointed to this remote, very steep mountain top that
looked to be somewhere in Asia.

The mountain was a very tall, thin, pointy looking mountain. I thought
to myself … OH DEAR! How on earth am I getting up there?

I started grabbing a few things as they pulled me to the base of the
mountain. Things I thought I might need to help me along the way. Off we
went up the mountain. The sun beating down on my back felt like a brick
house pushing me down. The grandmothers seem to have no trouble at all
climbing this mountain. How could I be out-done by a couple of old
ladies?!

I kept climbing …

As I climbed I began letting loose of some of those things I thought I
needed. I had to shed some weight to make it to the top of this darned
mountain. I had to lighten the load!

I'm not sure how long it took. It seemed like a long time … but it
was still daylight when we reached the top. I reached the top and there
was a bench just overlooking the edge. I made my way over to the bench
and sat down. Exhausted, I sat there for a while trying to catch my
breath and gather my senses.
The grandmothers behind me say, "What do you see? What do you feel?
what do you hear? and what do you know?"
"I know I'm beat!", I thought to myself…

I sat there for a few moments looking out over the amazing view …
wondering to myself… "ok what is it they WANT me to see, hear, feel,
and know?" hmmmmmmmmmm

"Forget about us for a moment and just speak your mind", they said.

I took in a deep breath and closed my eyes. I could smell the flowers.
Each scent individual and then a lingering of how they mingled together.
I felt the cool breeze as it washed over my face and brushed through my
hair. I felt the once hot sun, now warming me as it dried my dripping
wet clothes and it felt like a golden hug from heaven. I could hear the
wind as it blew through each blade of grass and how it seemed to whisp
around the whole mountain, encircling us all. I opened my eyes and I
could see clear across the valley below without my glasses on. The
colors on the leaves as the sun played among the branches of every tree
were so vivid.

"Now, what do you know?" they asked.

I know that somehow I feel lighter … even though I am in body the same
as when I started up the mountain …. and beside the fact of my
material load being gone, I feel lighter inside myself. I don't quite
understand how, but I feel so light that it is as if I could glide down
this mountain like a leaf in the wind.

I feel weightless… inside and out.

"Think about this for a while", they said … "stay here and allow
your mind to become crystal clear".
Suddenly I replayed the memory of myself climbing this mountain and I
watched as I started to lighten my load. Each time I let go of something
it became something else… like thoughts or behaviors. My concentration
was solely on getting up this mountain and all those things I thought I
needed weren't helping at all. Without thinking about it I began to
let these things go as I made my way upward. Then suddenly there I
was… at the top.

I smirked .. smart old women ….

We need nothing but what is inside us to make it to where we want to
go.. with a strong will and a bit of direction, we will get there as
long as we don't give up and keep our eyes forward.
Thank you Grandmothers for this journey … there are always lessons to
be learned.

Many Blessings,
Raventalker

Get Ready for Mabon!: Day 2: Mabon Folklore

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Wed Sep 14, 2011 7:52 am (PDT)

Get Ready for Mabon!

Day 2: Mabon Folklore
From Patti Wigington, your Guide to Paganism / Wicca
The Mabon season has a long and rich history of legends and folklore. This time of year is associated with the cycle of life, death and rebirth thanks to its harvest connections. It's also a season of balance and power, because there are equal hours of darkness and light on the day of the autumn equinox. From the myths of Persephone and Demeter to the gods of the vineyards, Mabon is a time to celebrate the magic and power of the second harvest.
Gods of the Vine

At Mabon, the vineyards are practically overflowing with grapes, and so this is a great time of year to celebrate the bounty of wine! In many cultures, the vegetation gods, or gods of forest and vine, are crucial to mythology. Of note in particular are Bacchus and Dionysus, perhaps the best known "party gods." Learn more about them and why they're so important: Gods of the Vine

Acorns and Oak Trees

The acorn is a symbol of strength and power in many cultures. Because the acorn only appears on a fully mature oak, it is often considered a symbol of the patience needed to attain goals over long periods of time. It represents perseverance and hard work. To some societies, the oak was sacred, and is often connected to legends of deities who interact with mortals. Learn more about the symbolism of the tiny acorn and the mighty oak: Acorns and Oak Trees

Persephone and Demeter

Nearly everyone has heard of the legend of Persephone and Demeter. But how do these two famous goddesses connect to the Mabon season? Well, it's simply - without them, the story goes, we'd never have a dark time of the year. The balance of darkness and light is echoed in the timeless tale of mother and daughter...Persephone and Demeter

Symbols of the Stag

The stag, or male deer, is often connected to the autumn holiday of Mabon. In some traditions, he's associated with the Horned God, and in others, those giant antlers are representative of the crescent moon. Learn more about the stag and all he stands for: Symbols of the Stag

Pomona, Goddess of Apples

Pomona was a Roman goddess of orchards and fruit trees. She appears often in classical art, and is often portrayed carrying a cornucopia. Mabon is a good time of year to honor Pomona, and the bounty of the apple harvest...Pomona, Goddess of Apples

Tomorrow: Celebrating the Second Harvest

Tomorrow, we'll look at some of the ways that the second harvest is celebrated around the world, and discuss the significance of erecting scarecrows in the fields.

CHANGE IN DATE - Laurelin's September Potluck and Discussion

Posted by: "Kirk White" laurelin@sover.net   laurelinkirk

Wed Sep 14, 2011 10:50 am (PDT)

Dear folks,

The Laurelin potluck and discussion is usually held the last Sunday of every month from Noon to 4 PM.
This month, I will be out of town that weekend (Sept. 25th) and Amy will be resting from work.

So.... we would like to move the date to one week later: Sunday, October 2nd from Noon to 4 PM.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

One of the topics on our agenda is:
Planning Laurelin's events and activities for 2012 - including site improvements, new website, classes, rituals, and of course, our 30th Annual Lughnasadh festival which will be better than ever!
If you would like to be part of the planning process, please come!

Get out of the house. Meet Pagans and other spiritual people from across Vermont (and maybe beyond!).
Bring your favorite dish to share and any Pagan/ spiritually-related topic you might like to discuss.
Location: Laurelin Farm, 307 Christian Hill Rd, Bethel, Vermont 05032

Directions:

From the North, South or East:
Take I-89 to Exit 3. Take a right off the ramp heading towards Bethel on Route 12. Go about 2 miles and on your Right you will see Christian Hill Road (immediately after Poulos Insurance). Turn onto Christian Hill and go about 1/4 mile. On your left you'll see the Laurelin Farm sign. The next driveway up on the left (the small tan ranch with brown metal roof) is the location. If you get lost, call 802-234-9670.

From the West:
Find your way to Route 107 East. As you are entering Bethel, you will cross a steel bridge, go under a railway track and the highway will split into a Y. Take a right here onto Route 12 and 107. The first road that you will
come to on your left (about 1 mile from the intersection) is Christian Hill Road. Turn onto Christian Hill and go about 1/4 mile. On your left you'll see the Laurelin Farm sign. The next driveway up on the left (the small tan ranch with brown metal roof) is the location. If you get lost, call 802-234-9670.

Hope to see you here. RSVP's are appreciated.

Please feel free to forward this message to anyone you think might be interested.

Ascension Opportunity This Friday, Butler NJ

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Wed Sep 14, 2011 7:11 pm (PDT)

Hello Brothers and Sisters of The Light,

Many blessings to you All!

As we move from summer to autumn, there is a palpable feeling of "change" in the air.  Do you feel it too?  For many of us Earthwalkers, we often sense that feeling of change, yet we're not always 100% certain where change is needed in our lives.  Sometimes, when we discover what needs to change, it brings along resistance, hesitation, and fear.  When change is on the horizon, we can see only what needs to change, but this also requires a choice to step into the unknown if we choose to change.  The unknown is a scary place for many, if not all of us.  What will happen if I make that change?  What needs to die so the new can be embraced?  A plethora of questions and confusions often arise, thereby stagnating the evolutionary process of our being.

This is a time of profound, great change in our world.  We have so much help available to us now - we have but to reach out and ask!  This is also a fantastic time to truly embrace the unknown, and step into the Light, and become the Divine Being all of you are.  We all have a purpose to live, a song to sing, and a story to share.  The unknown variable is we don't know how much time we have to make the changes that call to our innermost selves.  I humbly suggest, dear ones, that the time is now.  There is no better time than the present to allow the Divine evolutionary process of your being to manifest and blossom.  Quite honestly, the world needs it!

I invite each of you, your friends, your neighbors, and your loved ones to come experience an opportunity for unlimited awareness, healing, and ascension this Friday at 7pm at Peaceful Paths.  There is a small $5 donation asked simply to support Peaceful Paths.  RSVP's are appreciated, and All are Welcome!  General details are provided below.

Feel free to share this email as called.

I look forward to sharing sacred space with you soon!

In Love and Deep Peace,
~Denise~

Practical Magick II Craft Workshops, Oct. - Dec 2011, Pompton Lakes NJ

Hello all-

We are pleased to announce that Vivian will be presenting craft workshops.
Please remember to register because space is limited.

Craft Workshops
Each month we will offer a different craft workshop.

It includes all supplies.

October

Sunday, October 9th
4 pm - 6 pm
$40.00 per person

Skull Garland

It is the time of year when the earth has died and gone dormant. Every year on October 31 (or May 1, if you're in the Southern Hemisphere) the Sabbat we call Samhain presents us with the opportunity to once more celebrate the cycle of death and rebirth. For many Pagan and Wiccan traditions, Samhain is a time to reconnect with our ancestors, and honor those who have died. This is the time when the veil between our world and the spirit realm is thin, so it's the perfect time of year to make contact with the dead.

The skull appears regularly in symbols around Samhain -- after all, this is the time when the earth is dying, plus everyone is focusing on Halloween. The Samhain sabbat celebrates the cycle of rebirth, and acknowledges that with life, there must also be death. This skull garland, inspired by the candy skulls of Mexico's Day of the Dead celebration, is a simple craft project you can make with scrap material around your house.

Ancestor Collage

In many Pagan and Wiccan traditions, the ancestors are honored, especially at Samhain. This Sabbat, after all, is the night when the veil between our world and the spirit world is at its most fragile. By setting up an ancestor shrine or collage to honor the people of your bloodline -- your kinfolk and clansmen who have helped to shape the person you are. This altar or shrine can be set up just for the Samhain season, or you can leave it up all year long for meditation and rituals.

You can create the collage and leave it in a corner of your dresser top, on a shelf, or on the mantle over your fireplace. Regardless, put it in a place where it can be left undisturbed, so that the spirits of your ancestors may gather there, and you can take time to meditate and honor them without having to move stuff around every time someone needs to use the table.

Also, bear in mind that you can honor anyone you like in this shrine. If you have a deceased pet or friend, go ahead and include them. Someone doesn't have to be a blood relative to be part of our spiritual ancestry.

November

Sunday, November 6th
4 pm - 6 pm
$40.00 per person

Plus the cost of material for the robes

WREATHS

More than just a decorative touch for your wall or door, wreaths have existed in various forms since the time of the ancient Romans. Wreaths are an eternal part of the festive season.

In ancient Greece a coral wreath was awarded to victors in sporting events. In the way that we now award gold medals, the wreath was a sign of victory. It meant much the same to the ancient Romans, a sign of victory over challengers.

Religiously, the advent wreath has a place in Catholic tradition. This special wreath is created with four candles, each a different color. One candle is lit each Friday of Advent with a prayer. In this, the wreath represents the coming if the Christmas celebration. Scandinavian wreaths also feature candles. The candles light the winter night's and are a sign of hope for the future light of spring. It was believed the wreath and candles would encourage the god of light to turn the world towards the sun once more.

The tradition of the wreath extends further back than the beginnings of Christian tradition. Pagan rituals of mid-winter often featured a wreath of evergreen with 4 candles. The candles were placed in each of the four directions, representing the elements of earth, wind, water and fire. Rituals were preformed to ensure the continuance of the circle of life.

Much symbolism can be attributed to the Christmas wreath. The shape of a circle has no beginning and no ending. This may represent the eternal nature of a god's love, or the circle of life. Evergreens are used to represent immortality and the victory of life through darkness and challenge. The fact that evergreens live through winter signifies the strength of life. Evergreens symbolized new life and resurrection in many ancient European cultures. The ancient Celts decorated with greens for protection and used greens in their winter holidays. They tied fruit and other objects to evergreen branches and decorated evergreen trees with candles to honor their gods.

WICCAN RITUAL ROBE

Many Wiccans and Pagans prefer to perform ceremonies and rituals in special robes. If you're part of a coven or group, your robe might have to be a certain color or style. In some traditions, the color of the robe indicates the level of training a practitioner has. A Wiccan robe symbolizes your oneness with nature and commitment to the ceremony or ritual you are performing. For many people, donning the ritual robe is a way of separating themselves from the mundane business of everyday life -- it's a way of stepping into the ritual mindset, of walking from the mundane world into the magical world.

Ritual gear can make us feel like we've created a place for spirit in our lives and forces us to slow down and pay attention to what we are doing. Changing from our mundane attire into something special for ceremony helps clear our mind so that intent is more focused.

It's not uncommon to have robes for the different seasons, symbolizing the turning Wheel of the Year. You can make one in blue for spring, green for summer, brown for fall, and white for winter -- or any other colors that symbolize the seasons for you. Do take the time to put some thought into your color selection -- it used to be that most Wiccans wore white robes, but many people prefer to use earth tones, because it's a way of establishing one's connection with nature. Some people choose to avoid black, because it sometimes has negative connotations, but use the color that feels right for you.

YULE LOG

As the Wheel of the Year turns once more, the days get shorter, the skies become gray, and it seems as though the sun is dying. In this time of darkness, we pause on the Solstice (usually around December 21st, although not always on the same date) and realize that something wonderful is happening. Among the Pagan traditions that have become part of Christmas is burning the yule log. This custom springs from many different cultures, but in all of them its significance seems to lie in the iul or "wheel" of the year. The Druids would bless a log and keep it burning for 12 days during the winter solstice; part of the log was kept for the following year, when it would be used to light the new yule log. For the Vikings, the yule log was an integral part of their celebration of the solstice, the julfest; on the log they would carve runes representing unwanted traits (such as ill fortune or poor honor) that they wanted the gods to take from them.

On Yule, the sun stops its decline into the south. For a few days, it seems as though it's rising in exactly the same place… and then the amazing, the wonderful, the miraculous happens. The light begins to return. Yule is a Sabbat to welcome back the Sun King. The sun is vital to all that exist on Earth. It is the giver of light and warmth, and causes the rebirth of this past year crops by warming and gently coaxing the seeds that have been sleeping underground during the winter. Traditional methods of celebrating this Sabbat are mostly inside activities.

The sun begins its journey back to the north, and once again we are reminded that we have something worth celebrating. In families of all different spiritual paths, the return of the light is celebrated, with Menorahs, Kwanzaa candles, bonfires, and brightly lit Christmas trees. On Yule, many Pagan and Wiccan families celebrate the return of the sun by adding light into their homes. A holiday celebration that began in Norway, on the night of the winter solstice it was common to hoist a giant log onto the hearth to celebrate the return of the sun each year. The Norsemen believed that the sun was a giant wheel of fire which rolled away from the earth, and then began rolling back again on the winter solstice.

As Christianity spread through Europe, the tradition became part of Christmas Eve festivities. The father or master of the house would sprinkle the log with libations of mead, oil or salt. Once the log was burned in the hearth, the ashes were scattered about the house to protect the family within from hostile spirits.

GREETING CARDS
Reminiscences of Yuletides past, legends and, perhaps, as in the song, ghost stories are exchanged. The animal family members are dozing in front of the fire. Hand-written notes with the desired greetings are added. Writing about the symbols and their meanings is a pleasant touch.

The colors of the Pagan Solar Festival, Yule, are red, green, gold and white. Plants, animals, crystals, incense and mythical creatures are included in the Sabbat's symbolism. Cards can be made with construction paper with the holiday's colors. The artwork is the symbols: plants, animals, herbs, crystals, the Yule log, the mythical Phoenix, the eight-spoked wheel representing the cycle of the year and the wreath, representing eternal life. One can draw the symbols, paste these on the cards or both.

Skull
Garland

It is the
time of year when the earth has died and gone dormant. Every year on October 31
(or May 1, if you're in the Southern Hemisphere) the Sabbat we call Samhain
presents us with the opportunity to once more celebrate the cycle of death and
rebirth. For many Pagan and Wiccan traditions, Samhain is a time to reconnect
with our ancestors, and honor those who have died. This is the time when the
veil between our world and the spirit realm is thin, so it's the perfect time of
year to make contact with the dead.

The skull
appears regularly in symbols around Samhain-- after
all, this is the time when the earth is dying, plus everyone is focusing on
Halloween. The Samhain sabbat celebrates the cycle of rebirth, and acknowledges
that with life, there must also be death. This skull garland, inspired by the
candy skulls of Mexico's Day
of the Deadcelebration, is a simple craft project you can make with scrap material around
your house.

Ancestor
Collage

In many
Pagan and Wiccan traditions, the ancestors are honored, especially at
Samhain. This
Sabbat, after all, is the night when the veil between our world and the spirit
world is at its most fragile. By setting up an ancestor shrine or collage to
honor the people of your bloodline -- your kinfolk and clansmen who have helped
to shape the person you are. This altar or shrine can be set up just for the
Samhain season, or you can leave it up all year long for meditation and
rituals.

You can
create the collage and leave it in a corner of your dresser top, on a shelf, or
on the mantle over your fireplace. Regardless, put it in a place where it can be
left undisturbed, so that the spirits of your ancestors may gather there, and
you can take time to meditate and honor them without having to move stuff around
every time someone needs to use the table.

Also, bear
in mind that you can honor anyone you like in this shrine. If you have a
deceased pet or friend, go ahead and include them. Someone doesn't have to be a
blood relative to be part of our spiritual ancestry.

WREATHS

More than
just a decorative touch for your wall or door, wreaths have existed in various
forms since the time of the ancient Romans. Wreaths are an eternal part of the
festive season.

In ancient Greece a coral wreath was awarded to victors
in sporting events. In the way that we now award gold medals, the wreath was a
sign of victory. It meant much the same to the ancient Romans, a sign of victory
over challengers.

Religiously, the advent wreath has a place in Catholic
tradition. This special wreath is created with four candles, each a different
color. One candle is lit each Friday of Advent with a prayer. In this, the
wreath represents the coming if the Christmas celebration. Scandinavian wreaths
also feature candles. The candles light the winter night's and are a sign of
hope for the future light of spring. It was believed the wreath and candles
would encourage the god of light to turn the world towards the sun once
more.

The tradition of the wreath extends further back than the
beginnings of Christian tradition. Pagan rituals of mid-winter often featured a
wreath of evergreen with 4 candles. The candles were placed in each of the four
directions, representing the elements of earth, wind, water and fire. Rituals
were preformed to ensure the continuance of the circle of life.

Much
symbolism can be attributed to the Christmas wreath. The shape of a circle has
no beginning and no ending. This may represent the eternal nature of a god's
love, or the circle of life. Evergreens are used to represent immortality and
the victory of life through darkness and challenge. The fact that evergreens
live through winter signifies the strength of life. Evergreens symbolized new
life and resurrection in many ancient European cultures. The ancient Celts
decorated with greens for protection and used greens in their winter holidays.
They tied fruit and other objects to evergreen branches and decorated evergreen
trees with candles to honor their gods.

WICCAN
RITUAL ROBE

Many
Wiccans and Pagans prefer to perform ceremonies and rituals in special robes. If
you're part of a coven or group, your robe might have to be a certain color or
style. In some traditions, the color of the robe indicates the level of training
a practitioner has. A Wiccan robe symbolizes your oneness with nature and
commitment to the ceremony or ritual you are performing. For many people,
donning the ritual robe is a way of separating themselves from the mundane
business of everyday life -- it's a way of stepping into the ritual mindset, of
walking from the mundane world into the magical world.

Ritual
gear can make us feel like we've created a place for spirit in our lives and
forces us to slow down and pay attention to what we are doing. Changing from our
mundane attire into something special for ceremony helps clear our mind so that
intent is more focused.

It's not
uncommon to have robes for the different seasons, symbolizing the turning Wheel
of the Year. You can
make one in blue for spring, green for summer, brown for fall, and white for
winter -- or any other colors that symbolize the seasons for you. Do take the
time to put some thought into your color selection -- it used to be that most
Wiccans wore white robes, but many people prefer to use earth tones, because
it's a way of establishing one's connection with nature. Some people choose to
avoid black, because it sometimes has negative connotations, but use the color
that feels right for you.

Today's Goddess: Ch'ango
Birthday of the Moon (China)

Themes:  Moon; Relationships; Purity; Devotion; Instinct; Growth; Manifestation
Symbols:  All Lunar Symbols or Items

About Ch'ango:  This Chinese Moon Goddess is stunningly beautiful, shining on our lives
with all the best energies of the moon.  On this, her birthday, she reaches out to embrace
the earth and its people, inspiring pure, devoted relationships, stirring long-forgotten insights,
and sharing energy for growth and manifestation in nearly any area of our lives.

To Do Today:  This festival in honor of the Moon Goddess is a national event in China, and the
traditions are easily adapted to our efforts.  Begin by gathering with family or friends and
exchanging moon gifts (anything that represents the moon and meets a magical need for the
person to whom it's intended).  After the gift exchange, enjoy some moon-shaped cookies or
cakes, as well as other foods that invoke Ch'ango's favor, like dumplings shaped like a crescent
moon (dim sum) and grapefruit slices.

Don't forget to go moongazing (if the weather is poor, use a poster or book images).  Hold hands
with your companions and bask in the silvery glow.  Moonlight is said to enliven creativity, romance,
and other positive emotions today.  Additionally, looking upon Ch'ango's visage draws the Goddess's
blessing and protection.

Harvest Moon Altar Ritual

Harvest Moon Altar Ritual
Incense of the day: Evergreen

This is one of many thanksgiving ceremonies employed by the Iroquois people
to honor the fertility of the earth and give thanks for the harvest. Use this harvest festival as inspiration to begin your Autumn Equinox
altar. Gather about a cup of fertile soil. Put it in a pretty bowl on
your altar. Pick out a few ripe gourds and squash of various colors,
shapes, textures, and sizes, and place them on your altar along with
some rainwater. If you are not the type to keep an altar, place these
items on a nice cloth on your mantel or a windowsill. With this simple
altar ritual you share thanksgiving with the Harvest Moon while
preparing for the changing of the wheel at the Autumn Equinox.

Attracting Wellness Spell

The energy of
this spell is intended to give a boost to your health and to be a
palliative in the face of the upcoming "flu months." Light a green
candle. Place a glass of water between you and the green candle. State
these words: "Spirit guides, healers, and angels allow me to act as a
channel for your healing rays. Energy on." Visualize a ray of energy
entering your crown. Allow this ray to stream through your body with
each breath. Visualize healing and balance being restored to your body.
Use your intuition to indicate when the energy has reached its fullness
within you. At the point of fullness, hold your hands over the water and visualize the ray stretching from your hands into the water. This
action allows you to ground the ray's energy into the water. As this
grounding occurs, the water also become "activated" with the healing
properties of the energy. Thank the spirit guides, healers, and angels
for their energy and say: "Energy off." Unless a doctor recommends you
do not, drink at least eight glasses of activated water daily. ~ Karen Follett)0(

In their hearts, your worshipers see you
as three-eyed, wearing the crescent moon
white as the moon in autumn.

You are the perfume of nature,
holding in you hands a jar of nectar.
You are all art and poetry.

Holding in your hands a book
as you make the gesture
that describes all learning.

Just as we need to make a place for nature in our lives, there  needs to be a place as well for
art ad learning. The Goddess loves what is created by her children as much as what she loves
what she herself creates.

Art is not separate from nature, but grow naturally from the abundant beauties of this world.
And art is not separate from our own nature, but is part of our way of relating to the world,
and it's sensory stimulation. When we see a flaming autumn tree, do we not feel an urge
to capture it's image - on film, in pain paint, in a poem? When we feel the movement of love
within us, is there not an immediate pull toward self expression? A little poem, perhaps, or a
beautiful table setting or a gesture in the dance of love - these are all creative acts expressing
our connection to our senses and, through the,. to nature's beauties. Art is not a product that
can be bought or sold. It is a process of worship, one open to all of us.
