This week's Moonscopes

This Week's Moonscopes Forecast
For the week
of November 14 to November 20
(Missed last
week's forecast? Here it
is.)
Sunday, Monday,
Tuesday(*v/c-pm): the Moon is in Pisces
In ancient times - and in some
astrological systems today - Jupiter was the ruler of Pisces as well as
Sagittarius, the sign we commonly link it with today, because there were only
seven planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn) used in
charts and horoscopes. The Sun and Moon ruled one sign each and the other five
planets ruled (were in charge of or associated with) two signs each. Currently,
Jupiter is in the sign Pisces and is promoting an inner transcendence of what
seems to be reality and an outer expanded approach to that reality. The Moon,
which is connected to the inner self, really enjoys the soft atmosphere of
Pisces and the buoyant presence of Jupiter.
Tuesday evening, Wednesday, Thursday: the Moon is in
Aries
Saturn
and Venus, both in the sign Libra, are in opposition to the Moon. The
astrological term "opposition" does not necessarily have the same
meaning as this word would in a regular dictionary. Yes, sometimes the
opposition aspect (connection between planets) indicates a tug-of-war; however
often it indicates a balance between the planets, especially when the planet
Venus or the sign Libra are involved. In this case we have both things
happening, along with Saturn in its exalted sign (Libra), which means that this
planet is empowered in a very positive manner. Bottom line - generate ideas
(Aries), make a significant start on a project or two (Aries), and remember to
allow for some 'down' time in order to balance out activity time (Libra).
Friday, Saturday: the Moon
is in Taurus
The time between a New Moon and a Full Moon is
called waxing, which means that energy is increasing. After a Full Moon and
until the next New Moon, the time is called waning because that lunar energy is
decreasing. During a waxing moon time, actions are best directed toward
initiating and establishing something. During a waning moon time, actions are
best directed toward completing something. Ok, how does this fit in with the
Taurus Moon we have right now - well, there is a Full Moon in Taurus on Sunday
morning (EST) and Taurus is the best sign for steadfast follow-through on
anything currently in the works. So, as it straddles the end of the waxing
period for this month and the beginning of the waning period, there is plenty of
astrological energy available to do what needs to be done this weekend.
Check your astrology chart to find which
house (section of your chart) has the current Moon sign on the cusp (the
beginning edge) & apply Forecast information to that area of your life as
well.
For example, the Moon is in Leo
and one of the suggestions is to entertain - however Leo is located in the
12th house of your chart, which is an inward energy place...then have a small,
quiet gathering. By contrast, if Leo is located in the 1st house of your chart,
an outward energy place...have a party! Don't have an
astrology chart? Click here
.
It is
interesting to note
when the current Moon is in the same sign as your birth Moon and to see how the
flavor of that day carries through the next 30 days.

Pallas - Sagittarius,

Vesta - Scorpio,

Vesta - Deep

Chiron - Regeneration

Note: Timeframes for Moon signs,
void-of-course periods, and current planet & asteroid positions are
noted for Eastern time zone (USA). Please adjust according to your own
location.
Times are not given if the void-of-course Moon occurs for a very short
period or if it occurs during the night
(based on same Eastern time zone).
* v/c =
Void-of-Course
-
When the Moon is void-of-course, spend time working on projects
already in progress, creative endeavors, or self-improvement.
Void-of-course simply means that no planets are aspecting the
Moon as it gets ready to change
signs. It's best not to
start new projects, sign important agreements, or go shopping when the
Moon is void-of-course because the result will probably be
unsatisfactory in some way.
** Mercury Retrograde - the speed of the
planet slows down considerably. Communications, paperwork, electronics, and
traffic can become very mixed-up or delayed during this time. A
situation will be in the process of changing, so wait until Mercury is direct to
finalize anything. In general, maintain a slower, more cautious pace in
daily affairs. Always allow at least two days before (to slow down) and after (to resume regular
activities) a Mercury retrograde period.

"Most people do not really want
freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are
frightened of responsibility."
-- Sigmund Freud
In his book Nobodyâs Victim,
Christopher J. McCullough explains, "In order to live your freedom, you
must first accept reality. âThese are the choices, and given those
choices, which do I choose?â Whether the option you select is pleasant
or painful does not alter the fact that, given reality, this is your
preference.
"To live your freedom, it is helpful
to stop and ask yourself, âWhy am I doing this?â and then notice
whether, given the options, you are choosing what you really want, or
whether you want to choose something else.... Sometimes the exercise of
freedom involves naming your poison -- all choices may lead to outcomes
that are in some way painful. But the real pain is that of feeling
powerless -- denying your freedom."
"Freedom is man's capacity to take a hand in his own development. It is our capacity to mold ourselves."
-- Dr. Rollo May

Quado's Garden: Surrender to the Flow of Life
Posted by: "Ash" mhc4sure@yahoo.com mhc4sure

http://www.quado.com/quados- garden/050809. htm
Surrender to the Flow of Life
Today would be
an
excellent day to gracefully surrender to the flow of life, accepting things as
they are in this moment and moving into the next moment from that place of
peace.
To surrender does not mean
that you no longer care about your life. It is not apathy. It is acceptance
that fighting the current will only exhaust you. It is acceptance that the best
way to move in a certain direction is to use the power of the river, sensing how
things are and just gently dipping down an arm as a tiller, so that you might
catch the fork of the river that appeals to you.
Surrendering to the flow
can also be recognition that if you allow life to propel you, you can do so
easily and gracefully, with very little effort indeed.
Look forward, feel the
power and use it. If you spend your time looking back at what has been, you
will not see the wonderful things flowing toward you, nor will you notice the
approaching rapids until it is too late to avoid them.
Relax into the flow. Steer
yourself gently, taking advantage of the movement and current which surround
you. Watch and feel how things are and gently join the flow of life.

Fw: DailyOM: A Full Embrace Excluding Nothing

DailyOM - Finding Peace Within
Today's DailyOM brought to you by:
November 12, 2010
A Full Embrace Excluding Nothing
Finding Peace Within
If we are to have true peace in this world, each one of us must find it in ourselves first.
Most people agree that a more peaceful world would be an ideal situation for all living creatures. However, we often seem stumped as to how to bring this ideal situation into being. If we are to have true peace in this world, each one of us must find it in ourselves first. If we don't like ourselves, for example, we probably won't like those around us. If we are in a constant state of inner conflict, then we will probably manifest conflict in the world. If we have fighting within our families, there can be no peace in the world. We must shine the light of inquiry on our internal struggles, because this is the only place we can really create change.
When we initiate the process of looking inside ourselves for the meaning of peace, we will begin to understand why it has always been so difficult to come by. This in itself will enable us to be compassionate toward the many people in the world who find themselves caught up in conflicts both personal and universal. We may have an experience of peace that we can call up in ourselves to remind us of what we want to create, but if we are human we will also feel the pull in the opposite directionè'he desire to defend ourselves, to keep what we feel belongs to us, to protect our loved ones and our cherished ideals, and the anger we feel when threatened. This awareness is important because we cannot truly know peace until we understand the many tendencies and passions that threaten our ability to find it. Peace necessarily includes, even as it transcends, all of our primal energy, much of which has been expressed in ways that contradict peace.
Being at peace with ourselves is not about denying or rejecting any part of ourselves. On the contrary, in order to be at peace we must be willing and able to hold ourselves, in all our complexity, in a full embrace that excludes nothing. This is perhaps the most difficult part for many of us, because we want so much to disown the negative aspects of our humanity. Ironically, though, true peace begins with a willingness to take responsibility for our humanity so that we might ultimately transform it in the light of our love.

Paganism / Wiccan
Paganism / Wiccan Basics Celebrations Pagan Living
From Patti Wigington, your Guide to Paganism / Wiccan
In addition to the eight major Sabbats, many Wiccans and Pagans also hold rituals for other events -- the monthly full moon, birth, death, and weddings. Today, we'll talk about some of these additional rituals for Wiccans and Pagans, as well as ideas such as ritual fasting, consecrating sacred space, and how to actually plan a ritual.
Follow Pagan/Wiccan on Twitter or Join Me On Facebook.
Planning a Ritual
There are literally dozens of rituals available on this website and others. There are hundreds more to be found in books on the subject of Wicca, NeoWicca, Paganism, and witchcraft in general. These rituals make a great template -- and certainly, if you've never held a ritual on your own, it's nice to have one already written for you. For many people, an important aspect of the spiritual growth process lies in planning one's own ritual. You may find that in planning your own rituals, it helps to follow the same format each time. Here's how to plan out a ritual of your own... Read More

Earth Service Message from Horse
Posted by: "Ash" mhc4sure@yahoo.com mhc4sure

Greetings Friends!
Bonus message from Horse
Horse, I rode you in my Dream and felt your power under me,
carrying me. Then I dismounted when I saw people in the road and
moved among them. When I looked for you later I saw you
patiently waiting to carry me again. Do you wish to speak?
Yes, my Friend, I am Horse who has carried you again and again.
Before the creation of the car I carried the People far and wide
allowing the growth of civilizations and empire which have also
come and gone.
I am your power to move forward to a Peaceful World. It is your
choice and intention that directs this power. I have been used both
for war and peaceful purposes. Then I was replaced by machines.
Now you approach the end of another era when cars are becoming
obsolete.
This stirs a fear in people along with a new hope. You will find a
new way. Just as the large brown horse in your Dream waited while
you mixed with the People in the path, I am waiting to carry you
wherever you Choose.
I am tall and strong with four hooves that connect me to the Earth. I
have a long brow, bright eyes, upright ears and a large nose. Use all
the power of your senses and intelligence to take back the Power
which has been given to you. Then move in the direction of Love
and Respect for All Life.
Thank You for Asking.

Thank You Horse.

Abraham Hicks: Daily Quote - 11/13/2010
Posted by: "Ash" mhc4sure@yahoo.com mhc4sure
Sat Nov 13, 2010 7:54 am (PST)
There is nothing about your physical awareness that connects you more
to the Non-Physical aspect of your Being than that of your
breathing. Many assume that the process of breathing is only about
your physical nature, but that is not the case. The process of
breathing is much more than an essential function of your physical body.
Indeed, it is the flowing of Spirit to you, and through you. That is
the reason that when the focusing of Spirit through your physical body
ceases, your breathing ceases, also. Our meditation experience will
induce a convergence of beneficial aspects for you, for as you relax into
the natural rhythm of perfect breathing while hearing these spoken words,
the Vibration of your physical being will gently surrender to the
Vibrational frequency of your Source, and you will become one with your
Source, inside the Vortex.Through the hearing of our words in your
relaxed state of allowing, you will allow the gentle tuning of your
Vibrational frequency to match the frequency of your
Source. This will not be an exercise of effort or trying, but
instead an exercise of releasing and allowingâ¦gently allowing
yourself to be who-you-really-are.
--- Abraham
This is 13 of 32 practical expanded quotes excerpted from

Today's Goddess: Feronia Ludi Plebeli (Rome)

Today's Goddess: Feronia
Ludi Plebeli (Rome)
Themes: Fertility, Abundance, Earth, Freedom, Sports, Recreation
Symbols: Fire, Coal
About Feronia: This Roman Fire Goddess provides fertility and abundance during even the harshest of time.
When boredom sets in, she arrives with arms bearing festive energies and earth's riches as a "pick me up".
According to Roman tradition, she is also the patroness and liberator of slaves or anything that allegorically
enslaves us.
To Do Today: Every November 13, the Plebian games opened in Rome with all manner of sports competition.
This festival also honored the Goddess Feronia and her liberating nature. Mirroring this theme, get outside and
do something physical to release any anger or tension you near. Give it to Feronia's care so she can transform
it into healthful energy.
Carry a piece of coal today to generate a little of Feronia's abundance in all your efforts. Keeping your stove
(or any fir source, like the heater) maintains this Goddess's energy in your home year round. If a day cones
when you have really pressing need, burn the coal in Feronia's liberating flames to release the magic for fast
manifestations.
If you find your inner reserves waning, with the winter's darkness, light a candle sometime today to invoke Feronia' s
vitality. Better still, light it for a few minutes each day until you feel your energy returning.

Japanese Norito For The Sun Goddess

ur leader has instructed me
to make this offering to you,
great goddess, most exalted one.
This is the last offering of the year.
I have been instructed to bring these gifts.
I have been sent as a messenger
to you whose praises are heard
along all the river down to the ocean.
I am just a messenger. I bow down to you.
~Japanese Norito For The Sun Goddess
During mid-November, a
Japanese festival honors children of the ages of three, five, and seven. Dressed in their fanciest clothing, girls of those ages are taken to
Shinto shrines, where priests bless them and give them candies
symbolizing good health and longevity. Then they return home, where they are given new clothes to symbolize their increasing responsibilities -
their social growth, which parallels their physical development.
In the strictly
ordered, closed societies of the past, the duties and pleasures of each
stage of development were shared and ritually recognized. In the more
fluid societies of today's industrialized world, there is no such simple progress through life. Yet the image of changing clothes each year in
order to signify to the deeper self that time brings inevitable changes - some new pleasures, some new demands - is a powerful one, one which
could easily become part of our annual round today.. )0(

Daily Aromatherapy Tip - Cold and Flu
For colds, flu or other viral infections, take a warm shower and follow it
with a gentle whole-body lemon-oil treatment before going
to bed.
Combine one cup of sunflower oil and 20 - 30 drops of lemon oil and rub
this mixture evenly over your skin. Wrap yourself up
well in towels
or blankets and go to bed. During the night the oil will be absorbed by
the skin's pores and will deploy its antiseptic
properties.

Truth is Truth

Source: ONE LOVE ONE HEART ONE VISION
Truth is truth, one, alone; it has no sides, no paths; all paths do not
lead to truth. There is no path to truth, it must come to you. Truth can
come to you only when your mind and heart are simple, clear, and there
is love in your heart; not if your heart is filled with the things of
the mind. When there is love in your heart, you do not talk about
organizing for brotherhood; you do not talk about belief, you do not
talk about division or the powers that create division, you need not
seek reconciliation. Then you are a simple human being without a label,
without a country. This means that you must strip yourself of all those
things and allow truth to come into being; and it can only come when the
mind is empty, when the mind ceases to create. Then it will come
without your invitation. Then it will come as swiftly as the wind and
unbeknown. It comes obscurely, not when you are watching, wanting. It is
there as sudden as sunlight, as pure as the night; but to receive it,
the heart must be full and the mind empty.
