Power Animal of the Day: Seagull

The Seagull
Joy
Freedom          Perspective

Take
a deep breath and let the spirit of the
seagull fill you.

Click here to Listen to the Seagull's Song.

Soar
in joy.  Soar in freedom.  Feel your power.  You are the seagull!

The
seagull knows that freedom is a state of mind and of the heart.  She can teach
you to let your heart soar on the wings of freedom and joy, no matter where you
are and no matter what you are doing.  She will help lift you out of the sands
of worry and petty concerns and into the soaring heights of being one with all
that is:  one with the ocean, one with the land, one with the vast and glorious
sky.

The
seagull will also teach you perspective.  Whenever you care to, she will take
you for a ride, up into the sky and across the vast ocean, where you will see
that your cares are as small as the grains of sand on the beach.  She will teach
you that your power is limitless and unbounded and that all you need to do is
stretch out your wings and let life carry you.

Feel
the freedom in your heart.  Smell the salt air as you soar across the vast
ocean.  Feel the wind beneath your wings lifting you higher and higher,
endlessly higher.  Fill yourself with all of this power, the power to be all
that you truly are, fully and freely expressed.  For you are the seagull, and
freedom is yours!

'May we live in peace without weeping. May our joy outline the lives we touch without ceasing. And may our love fill the world, angel wings tenderly beating.'   The Universal Heart Center   http://www.freewebs.com/moshayra

Quado's Garden: Focus on Your Health

http://www.quado.com/quados-garden/051003.htm

Focus
on Your Health

Today, focus on being
healthy in body, mind and spirit.

Physical health is about
balance and being in touch with what your body
wants and needs.   Attune yourself to what your body is saying, to signals of
real hunger, of real desire for rest or for exercise.  Pay attention.
Experiment with setting aside old patterns and listening and feeling, sensing
what it is your body truly desires right now.

Mental health is quite
simple:  peace.  Your mental and emotional state should be one of deeply
centered peace, a state in which you are centered within yourself, not buffeted
by outside events.

Peace is found in accepting
the seasons of life, the cycles of relationships, of all enterprises you
undertake, letting go of this and moving toward that, always accepting that
nothing stays the same and life is change.  And the mentally healthy person also
knows that spring always comes again.

Spiritual health is the
simplest of all:  it is knowing yourself as pure love.

'May we live in peace without weeping. May our joy outline the lives we touch without ceasing. And may our love fill the world, angel wings tenderly beating.'   The Universal Heart Center   http://www.freewebs.com/moshayra

DailyOM: Your Wellspring of Energy

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

DailyOM - A Stress-Free Home
Today's DailyOM brought to you by:

November 26, 2010
Your Wellspring of Energy
A Stress-Free Home
No matter where you live or what type of home you live in, taking care of your dwelling is also caring for your soul.

Sometimes our lives are so busy that we treat our homes as if they were impersonal places that we merely pass through. But we can make certain that our homes truly feel like our sanctuaries by taking the time to tend to them like gardens, which need care in order to offer us the beauty of their blooms. When we take the time to treat our homes like beloved treasures, we can shift their energy from being merely places to being wellsprings for the replenishment of our energy.

Consider that homes are the outer reflections of those who live within. If we feel that the current appearance clashes with how we'd like to see ourselves, it can keep us from fully allowing our light to shine. Updating our homes to reflect our inner landscape need not involve massive redecorating or a large outlay of money. Small things can make a big difference, like simply moving items so that we constantly gaze upon the things we love the most, liberating the treasures we've hidden in our closets, using our best dishes and making small repairs. Organizing and cleaning is a no-cost way to remove chaos from our homes and introduce more calm. Lovingly rejuvenating our personal space can become a creative project that increases the flow of good throughout all aspects of our lives and increases our feeling of connection. We can give old things new life by donating them to charity, opening space for newness to enter. Removing stress from our homes can be
as simple as putting o! ur bills into pretty boxes and choosing a specific time to deal with them, or removing clutter so that we and our energy can move freely throughout our space.

Simplifying our space lets our imagination and energy roam free. We can choose to prioritize our homes, making them the true heart of our family's activities. Then we are free to focus on what really mattersè'‰ime to ourselves, to share with loved ones, and to replenish our energy so that we have more to share with each other and with the world.

Space Weather News for Nov. 26, 2010
http://spaceweather.com

SOLAR FARSIDE ACTIVITY: The Earth-facing side of the sun is relatively quiet, but the farside is alive with activity. On Nov. 26th, NASA's twin STEREO spacecraft and the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) observed eruptions from multiple farside blast sites. Visit http://spaceweather.com to view movies of these events and for more information about when the active regions might turn to face Earth.

RADAR MOON: Earlier this week, the Moon passed through the beam of the US Air Force Space Surveillance Radar in Texas. An electrical engineer in Georgia recorded the echo and made a simple image of the Moon based on the reflection. Sights and sounds of the "radar Moon" are featured on today's edition of http://spaceweather.com.

Goddess  Of The Day  : SPES

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Sat Nov 27, 2010 7:11 am (PST)

Goddess Of The Day : SPES

Themes: Thankfulness; Hope; Abundance; Harvest
Symbols: A Bouquet of Flowers

About Spes: In Roman
tradition, this goddess's name means "hope." She joins us today to
celebrate the successful harvest and keep our hearts hopeful as the
earth's plenty wanes. In art, Spes often appears as a simple bundle of
flowers whose beauty inspires the most distraught of spirits.

To Do Today: Follow
pilgrim tradition and set aside time today to thank the goddess for her
blessings in any way that seems suited to your path and vision. For
example, give Spes an offering of the first slice of holiday bread,
share food with those in need, or perhaps treat the birds and squirrels
in your neighborhood to some bread and nuts.

Locally we invite any
friends who have no family nearby to join with us in a delightful
symbolic meal. I serve round rye bread and dill dip for unity and
kinship, sweet potatoes for life's sweetness and Spe's harvest energies, cranberries mixed with oranges to keep our energy and health intact,
vegetables for firm foundations, and pumpkin pie with magickal sigils
carved in the crust for the goddess's protective spark. If you look at
your own traditional menu, I'll bet you will find many other foods and
beverages that have similar symbolism to bring meaning and Spe's magick
to your table for this holiday. As you eat, remember to pass all the
food and beverages clockwise to invoke Spe's ongoing providence.

Clarity for the Season Spell

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Clarity for the Season Spell

At
the start of the holidays, it is easy to feel overwhelmed by just a
glance at your to do list. Take a few minutes to organize yourself. Sit
down with your planner or calendar, your gift lists, some extra paper,
and a pen. Light a yellow candle and some rosemary incense, saying:
“Lord and Lady, help me to clear my mind and organize myself so that I
can enjoy the season more.” Now, make a list of everything you have to
do and what presents to buy. Take that list and break it up into
smaller, manageable steps. Now, take those tasks and examine them. How
much time will it take to achieve each goal? Be honest. Find ways to
save time. When you are ready, plot your tasks on a planner or calendar. Know you will have enough time to finish them and enjoy the holidays. ~ Olivia O'Meir

Abenaki Song

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Sat Nov 27, 2010 7:22 am (PST)

Come, love, up the mountain with me.
Let us sit together on the mountain.
Come, love, let us watch the sun go down,
filling the sky with beauty.
Come, love, let us watch the night traveler
rise in beauty over the mountain.
Come let us watch the northern lights
playing ball in their icy homeland.
Let us sit there, on the mountain together,
and listen to thunder's loud drum.
Let us watch the way brilliance flashes
along the pipe of lightning.
Let us sit there, until the world falls asleep
to the sound of the owl singing.
Let us sit there in the beautiful mountain,
watching the tiny wakeful stars.
~Abenaki Song

Finding the beauty in the night, in the dark sides of our personality, in the dark sides of our life - that is a difficult
spiritual challenge. It is easy to love some things: spring flowers,
smiling children, the touch of a lover's hand. But how do we truly
embrace and love all of life? How do we love our somber moods and our
fears, our anger and our pain? How do we love these in other people?

There is no easy answer to these questions. To live
fully, however, we cannot cut off and cast away half of life. We must
struggle to accept what we wish to push away. Only by doing so will we
become truly and fully alive to the possibilities of our world and
ourselves.

50% off all Vampyre Spells!

Request any Vampyre Spell from Lynda Stratton and receive 50% off, but hurry - at this price the 20 available casting spots will fill up fast!

In the 17th century,
a breakaway sect of Romanian Gypsies were both respected and feared for
what some called a supernatural practice: They were skilled in the
ancient art of casting Vampyre Spells.
Very few skilled practitioners remain in the world who are capable of
Casting these Spells successfully; Lynda Stratton is one of these
exceptional Witches.

This week Lynda is offering a 50% discount on all of her Vampyre Spells (including upgrades!) to the first 20 requests, just by using the following Discount Code during checkout: VAMP2011

Joshua Grey's True Curses

After many years of pursuing answers to events of his past, Joshua Grey
has decided that his search no longer lies in traveling the world, but
in constant experimentation with the Dark Arts. As a Karmic Master and
Practitioner of the Left Hand Path, Joshua is now prepared to Cast any Curse at your request.

The 7witches Coven have used Joshua Grey's services often, and now you can too, at truecurses.com

Double Double Toil And Trouble (misleading spellcasting ingredients)

We
often write of the misconceptions many individuals have of Witchcraft
and the Occult, whether this is because people fear what they do not
understand, or they have received misleading information. There is one
individual, however, whose intentions in writing about Witches were
informed and for entertainment purposes, but his crafty and shrewd
diction was often taken literally, and has therefore led to a misguided
understanding of the ingredients used in making potions. His name: William Shakespeare.

The best example to explain this comes from Shakespeare’s “Macbeth.”
Three Witches appear throughout the play, said to represent Darkness,
Chaos, and Conflict. It was Shakespeare who had coined the phrase
“Double, Double, Toil and Trouble” through these Witches. Through
literary analysis and interpretation, many scholars have come to the
conclusion that this phrase had implied that these Witches’ only desire
was to create problems for the humans around them. Then, in the fourth
act, this pigeonhole reaches its zenith. The three Witches prepare a
Potion in a Cauldron to conjure Spirits to manipulate Macbeth to perform
malicious deeds.  Some of the ingredients they include to create this
Potion are Eye of Newt, Dog’s Tongue, and the Toe of Frog.

When I had first read Macbeth, I deemed Shakespeare to have a true
disdain for Witchcraft and Sorcery. It appeared that he had associated
these Witches with Devil Worshipping like so many had before, with their
intentions being of a wicked nature. As I had progressed in my studies,
I came across a small minority of Occult academics who had informed me
that I was reading this all wrong.  In Shakespeare’s time, the label
‘Witch’ applied to women with vast knowledge of healing through
medicinal and magical herbs. They often isolated themselves from the
rest of society to practice and experiment.

In fact, as William Shakespeare is well known for his metaphors, the
ingredients that these Witches had used were not to be taken literally
at all. The Eye of Newt referred to the seeds of the commonly used Wild
Mustard Plant, the Dog’s Tongue was Cynoglossum Officianale, or Gypsy
Flower, and the Toe of the Frog refers to Bulbous Buttercup.
Additionally, though I still do not necessarily like this association,
in a rare memoir, Shakespeare had written that these Witches in no way
portrayed Evil, but were agents to allow Macbeth to see his situation in
a different light.

The primary motive in this letter is that I had recently received a
question as to whether our Coven hurts any animals through the Casting
process. Through his ingenious play on words, William Shakespeare might
have set the image many people have of Witchcraft back a few hundred
years, but the answer is and will always be no.

Client Comments

...I thank you, for taking the time in helping me to achieve what my
heart desires and I am very happy working with you. I believe, I was
guided to your web site and you, for I had been searching for the one
person who could really make a difference in wanting to help me, for I
was very desperate in the beginning and fell prey to some who, unlike
yourself, were very dishonest and money hungry and having no regard for
my concerns. Finding you, was a gift! Happy New Year!

-Virginia C, DC

We get a lot of questions, and every week we will choose one or two and answer them here.

Q: Can you do a reading to tell me the future? P.L. Ohio

A: First you need
to understand that the future is not set in stone, every choice we make
can change our path. Knowing this gives you the opportunity to pay
attention to the choices that you make. While I am capable of performing
readings, this is not something that I practice on a regular basis. My
foremost duty is to the coven and doing everything we can to make our
spellwork successful beyond your expectations. -J. Roslyn

Q: Are there any herbs that I can use myself for healing? T.H. Netherlands

A: Indeed there are. In fact, most grocery stores now carry several types of herbal teas
that can help with a variety of common problems. Something to
understand about herbs is that they are much gentler on your body than
most medications that you would take for the same problems and have
little to no side effects. Remember, you should always talk to your
doctor before taking any type of remedy to avoid allergic reactions and
bad reactions to any other conditions you may have. -Lynda
