I just had the strangest experience in my whole life. If I rambleplease bear
with me. I'm a little rattled.
For a few weeks nowI've been lighting three candles for a few things. (they
re white tea lights) I stood up to take a little break from checking my
e-mails and I thought I'd see how the candles were doing. I like to make
sure that they're burning well and won't set anything else on fire or if any
of them had burned out.
Here comes the strange part.
I keep the candles on one of the vending machines in the break room at the
site I work. Since it's against the wallthere's only three sides you can
stand near. The candle flames have been burning steadily since I lit them. I
walked over to see how they were doing and the flames started wavering like
a breeze was blowing them. (I know it wasn't me because I was holding my
breath to make sure I didn't blow on them) What made this even more freaky
was that the flames were bending in my direction. I moved to all three sides
and the flames from all three candles followed me! I even watched them as I
moved around and the flames followed my movements! It was like they were
watching me!
Does anyone have an idea of what this might mean? Is someone trying to let
me know that they're watching over me? Is this telling me to keep going or
does it mean I've done enough and I should knock it off?
Help!

Katrina,
Wow , that sounds like a wonderful thing to me! I would take it as a message that I am being looked after by my gaurdian, but how did you feel at that moment? Did you feel frightened? Or did you feel a peaceful feeling all around?
I had a incident where I was comforted by a gentle wind once. Actually several times but this particular time came to mind when I read your story. My friend passed away very suddenly and I was very sad. I was standing under a tree in my front yard crying and this wind swirled around me and I felt the sadness lift. I swear to you I heard in my mind " I am here with you!" and I could not help but start laughing. It was the most wonderful feeling!
I was once told that you'll know what the spirit is telling you by how you feel when it is with you. So were you frightened? Is there something at your job that you are trying to protect yourself from ( negative energy from co worker)? If this is the case it could be telling you are are safe , so don't worry about it. It all depends I guess on how you felt at that moment.

Well, Katrina, it really all depends on what was there. I've had a similar situation happen to me, but it wasn't pleasant at all. I was in my game room which at the time was my alter room. I had a purple candle lite as well as a blue and a large pink candle. I was meditating, trying to clear my mind. It was the night right before the full moon, and I felt an uneasiness in the air. I opened my eyes to peer around the room, and my flames on each candle were going crazy wild. I was in such a shock, for no fans or air conditioning were on and the wind was closed. I decided that it might be best to put the candles out. the blue and the purple went out instantly, but when I got to the pink, the flame arose and almost burned my face. Then, I tried to put the cap on it. Even with the cap on it continued to violently thrash around underneath it, so I took it off. I immediately called a friend, and told them of my issue, before finally being able to blow
the candle out. In my case, I had a warning before the candles began to....Well you know. If you had a bad feeling during before or after, it may be a warning from above or something else. Crystals and Affirmations
Affirmations and visualization are powerful tools of manifesting wealth and success, bringing whatever you desire to fruition.
"Affirmations,
really, are simple. They are you being in conscious control of your
thoughts. They are short, powerful statements. When you say them or
think them or even hear them, they become the thoughts that create your
reality. Affirmations, then, are your conscious thoughts." [1]
Edgar Cayce spoke of affirmations in many of his readings and subsequent material. In the mid 80's, Shakti Gawain was the author of a best selling book entitled 'Creative Visualization'. In it, she spoke of repeating affirmations while working with her creative visualization process.
Wallace Wattles, in his book, 'The Science of Getting Rich'
said, "Men get rich by doing things in a Certain Way; and in order to
do so, men must become able to think in a Certain Way. A man's way of
doing things is the direct result of the way he thinks about things." In
other words, "What you state, you create".
Just a few years ago, another phenomenon, called "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne touted affirmations as one of the most powerful tools used in the Law of Attraction.
In
fact, Rhonda Byrne told a Newsweek interviewer that her inspiration for
creating the 2006 hit film The Secret and the subsequent book by the
same name, was her exposure to Wattles's The Science of Getting Rich.
Byrne's daughter, Hayley, had given her mother a copy of the Wattles
book to help her recover from her breakdown. The film itself also
references and re-popularizes the term 'The Law of Attraction', a 1908
book by another New Thought author, William Walker Atkinson, titled "Thought Vibration or the Law of Attraction in the Thought World." [2]
I
believe this writer sums up the affirmation/attraction process quite
well. "For the utmost power and the strongest attraction, carefully
construct affirmations that are first person, present tense,
end-result-oriented, and filled with powerful emotion and feeling. While
thoughts and words start the attraction process, it's the emotion and
feeling associated (or lacking) that intensify (or weaken) the
attractive force." [3]
We
know affirmations can work and that clarity is very important. We also
know that you need to be in a happy, joyous, high vibrational state of
emotion so that the affirmation can connect with the universal energy.
Yet, there is something else that you may or may not know. There is
another tool you can use. A tool that will help you to remain focused,
positive and in a state of high vibration.
Your crystals, of course!
You
see, ALL crystals have an energy vibration or frequency, even if you
cannot feel it. Many crystals have a grounding energy, which are a lower
vibrational frequency. Other crystals have a vibration that can help to
balance or center our own energies. Still others raise our energy
vibration to match their own. These higher vibrational crystals can help
us to reach that state of conscious connection with Universal energy.
It is in this joyous vibration that we truly are stating (Affirmation) what we are creating (Law of Attraction).
Think
of it this way: The affirmation is the light bulb, empowering the
affirmation with your emotion is the bulb socket and the crystal is the
electricity which provides the power/energy.
I
highly recommend working with some of the higher frequency crystals
when sitting down to focus on your
affirmations/attraction/ manifestations. Holding a crystal in each hand
helps to complete the energy "circuit".
Now
that you understand how crystals can enhance your affirmation process,
let's look at a few crystals you may want to consider using.
The energy of Topaz
is a "must have" when working with the Law of Attraction and the Law of
Manifestation. Topaz serves as a catalyst for the manifestation
process. It has a high vibrational frequency which is key when
connecting with the higher energies.
Quartz is especially helpful as it helps to amplify both body energy and thought.
Cavansite
is very helpful in raising our own energy vibration to meet the higher
vibration of the crystal itself. This allows meditation, dreams,
channeling work and healing to come easily and effortlessly.
Apophyllite
has been used to create a conscious connection between the physical
form and the spiritual realm. It carries a very high vibration and would
be a perfect piece to use when working with your affirmations.
Every
person's energy vibrations are unique. No two are ever the same, so
choose whatever high vibration crystals you are drawn to. Practice using
your crystals while stating your affirmations. Try different
combinations. Hold the crystals in your hand and see how that feels to
you. I often make a circle on my floor out of crystals and sit inside of
the circle while I concentrate on my affirmation/attraction. Power up
your energy vibration. There is no limit to what you can do!

Simple Limestone. Extreme geological forces infuse this Limestone with a
unique combination of minerals. Heat, pressure and time transform a mundane
stone into an entrancing swirl of layered purples, black, orange, green and
translucent colors.
Charoite takes its name from a Russian word that means charming or magical.
Since this rare gemstone only occurs along the Chary River at Aldan in
Eastern Siberia, its mere existence is true magic.
This complicated silicate includes calcium, potassium, sodium, barium and
strontium. It was formed when Limestone became mixed with an alkali rich
nephline syenite intrusion. Nowhere, outside of Russia, did this unique
event, where the right combination of chemicals and Earth forces, came
together to create Charoite.
When Charoite crystallizes, it forms thin monoclinic growths. Normally it
forms in masses, or as a druze along a host stone. Inclusions of Augite are
responsible for black patches; the greens and whites are from Feldspars, and
the oranges are from Tinaksite.
We are only just beginning to become acquainted with Charoite. The stone is
believed to have been first discovered by the Russians in the late 1940's.
It was not known outside the secretive Soviet Union until the mid 1970's.
Charoite was quickly adopted as a power stone to aid in transformations. It
survived great trauma, only to become more beautiful. This is a wonderful
lesson. You cannot avoid change in your life. You can use this stone to flow
through the changes. Allow yourself to recognize how awesome you are, to
survive each powerful transformation.
You can also use the stone to change negative thoughts, beliefs that you
carry about yourself. Do some Spring cleaning in your heart and mind. Clear
out those thoughts that say you can't, or shouldn't.
Sleeping with the stone will bring lucid dreams. If you pay attention, these
dreams will reveal the fears that keep you frozen. Helping you heal and
release the destructive energies of that fear.
Use a Charoite as a meditation tool, follow the swirls into higher
dimensions. Open your Crown Chakra, or use it to bond your Heart and your
Crown Chakra. Accept your connection to All Your Relations with
unconditional love. Know that love is returned to you.
It can reveal to you the sources of your inner strengths. Help you balance
your spiritual and physical dimensions.
Charoite will show you sources of harmful energies, help you recognize a
potential threat. With patience, and listening, it will also show you a
clear resolution to your challenges. Helping you evolve into a more
beautiful human by letting go of resentments. You'll also start to see how

Very few healing qualities have been assigned to this stone, again, we are
just beginning to understand Charoite's powers. It may aid in transmuting a
sick body into a healthy one. I have carried one for the last two weeks and
have been completely headache free (I suffer from frequent headaches).

A Sacred Drum
A sacred drum stands. It is big and deep. The sacred sound surrounds.
It is the mantra of the earth speaking richness, masculine and feminine
energy as one deep tone.
We are one in this beauty.
Each touch of the drum takes us deeper into the center.
And the center is the curvature of space into the infinite dimension of the divine.
The drum is the curve and the center.
The many doors are one door. And the one door is the many.
The sound is the flood of the infinite.

An elk races in the wind, his heart song leaping from the great drum that he
has given himself for and we acknowledge his spirit.
And we acknowledge the spirit of the cottonwood whose second life carries the

mother's heart that sustains us all, now pulses again with the sacred life.
And we flow in appreciation, entering the great circle the drum now fills.

But serioulsy dosen't news like this prompt us to rethink the relationship between the -neo-pagan and christian cults?
