Hello Amber,
I just got your post, and hope things are better for you.
Everyone can identify w/ being really negative at some point in their lives. On the physical side, you might check your vitamin D levels. Oddly, that was my problem. On the mystical side, do alot of release ceremonies to Kali, Morgan, and Hekate. that's how I got thru it. Also, Reiki is good to know about. You might also being going thru Dark Night of the Soul. I had that for 3 years and thought I would lose my mind.
Stay strong. You're not alone.

...i am pagan, but unfortunately, i am also bi-polar. i am on meds for anxiety and anti-depression, but as hard as i try, i hear that i have a LOT of negataive energy around me and that i give out a lot of negativity. i am a pisces and have always been a pisces, this is not my first trip through life.
i am a pessimist, though i have fought my whole life not to be. and now am in danger of losing one of the biggest parts of my life.
meditation, prayers, devotionals, helping others, none of this is helping.
do you have any suggestions, other than meds and counseling and following my calling, to get this truly despised cloud away from me and to make it stay away... i am aching in my heart and the rest of me is just numb at the news that my 14 yr best friend, soul mate, feels they just can't handle the negative thoughts and comments anymore.
please help me to fix what i have fought my whole life to overcome and am now in danger of losing one of the most precious valuable people i have ever known.
thank you in advance.
most humbly

Daily Cosmic Calendar

Daily Cosmic Calendar for Saturday, April 9
A look in an ephemeris - a book that reveals the daily motion of the celestial bodies - will show that Pluto has actually been virtually devoid of any speed for the last couple of days. It also won't be traveling anywhere in the next few days. However, our modern computers pinpoint 1:52AM PDT this morning as the exact time when Pluto at 8 degrees of Capricorn appears to stop from the Earth's vantage point and begin a retrograde cycle that lasts until September 16.
All Pluto themes - the underworld, mysteries and secrets, extremes, atomic and nuclear energy, phobias and repressed emotions, death-rebirth and regeneration, hypnotism and sleep paralysis, willpower, purpose and laser-like concentration - are energized now and throughout the entire weekend. Stop worrying about things you can't control. Forcing your personal will on dear ones is bush league.
Realize that the Moon in Gemini remains in an uncertain void mode until 2:03PM PDT when the lunar orb enters Cancer. Therefore, it is wise to finish old business with a flourish instead of launching bold plans.
Meanwhile, the Inferior Conjunction of the Sun and Mercury retrograde occurs (12:37PM PDT and activating 20 degrees of Aries). This is actually a lining up of the Earth, Mercury in reverse, and the Sun in the zodiac. It gives eager human souls the ability to capture cosmic seed-ideas that can blossom into fantastic earthy achievements in the months ahead.
After 18+ hours in void condition, the Moon swings out of airy Gemini and heads into watery Cancer at 2:03PM PDT. Immediately, home and family interests top the charts. Water your garden and let your green thumb connect you to the realm of Mother Nature. Cooking and cleaning rituals are emphasized.
Enjoy experimenting with a digital or video camera as the Moon makes a flowing trine to Neptune (2:20PM PDT). Another harmonious trine of 120-degrees to Chiron lights up the evening skies at 9:13PM PDT. Healing forces are back on the march.

Elder's Meditation of the Day
"Everything really is equal. The Creatordoesn't look at me any better than Helooks at the trees. We're all the same."
-- Janice Sundown Hattet, SENECA
Sometimes humans think we are the center ofthe Universe. Sometimes we think we are aboveor better than other people or things. TheGreat Spirit made a set of Laws and Principlesby which all things should live. Everybody andeverything lives by the same Laws. We are allmade of atoms just like the trees. The lifeforce in the middle of the atom is the lifeforce of the Great Mystery. It is the same foreverything. We are all equal in the eyes of theCreator.
Great Spirit,today, I willrespect yourhandiwork.

More information about the NJ Devil:
The Jersey Devil is a legendary creature or cryptid said to inhabit the Pine Barrens of Southern New Jersey. The creature is often described as a flying biped with hooves, but there are many variations. The Jersey Devil has worked its way into the pop culture of the area, even lending its name to New Jersey's team in the National Hockey League.
Legends and reported encounters:
Most accounts of the Jersey Devil legend attribute the creature to a "Mother Leeds", a supposed whore although the tale has many variations. According to one version, she invoked the devil by saying "let it be the devil" while giving birth to her 13th child, and when the baby was born, it either immediately or soon afterward transformed into a devil like creature and flew off into the surrounding pines. The child was born with horns, a tail, wings, and a horse-like head. The creature revisited Mrs. Leeds every day. She stood at her door and told it to leave. After awhile, the creature got the hint and never returned.
According to legend, while visiting the Hanover Mill Works to inspect his cannonballs being forged, Commodore Stephen Decatur sighted a flying creature flapping its wings and fired a cannonball directly upon it to no effect. Joseph Bonaparte, eldest brother of Emperor Napoleon, is also said to have witnessed the Jersey Devil while hunting on his Bordentown, New Jersey estate around 1820. Throughout the 19th century, the Jersey Devil was blamed for livestock killings, strange tracks, and reported sounds. In the early 20th century, a number of people in New Jersey and neighboring states claimed to witness the Jersey Devil or see its tracks. Claims of a corpse matching the Jersey Devil's description arose in 1957. In 1960, the merchants around Camden offered a $10,000 reward for the capture of the Jersey Devil, even offering to build a private zoo to house the creature if captured.
There are many other versions of the legend. The legends say it was the 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, or 13th child, It was born normal or deformed, and the mother confined it to the cellar or the attic. Although there are many discrepancies in all of these stories, there are 3 pieces of evidence that tie all of the legends of the Jersey Devil's origin together. From the pre 1909 era, few documented records of sightings still exist. The ones that do, confirm the existence of the devil.

How to Choose a Tarot Deck
Posted by: "Lady Nightshayde" LadyNightshayde9@aol.com nightshayde99

How To Choose A Tarot Deck
Learning to read tarot cards for yourself or others will require a
sizable investment in time. You will have to look at and work with whichever
deck you choose on an almost daily basis. This being the case, it is
important that you choose a deck that you find visually attractive. The images
should stimulate you.
Many stores have sample decks available so that you can see all of
the cards. Some of the larger chain bookstores will open decks for you if you
ask. If you cannot see the cards in the store, there are several sites on the
Internet that feature cards from a variety of tarot decks. If you
don't have a computer, try your local library. Most public libraries now have
computers with web access.
Try to see as many decks as possible before choosing one. Good tarot
imagery can evoke feelings in the viewer. Do some cards look happy or sad,
angry or peaceful? It is easier to learn the meanings of the cards if the
images portray emotions. Some people buy several decks before they find one
that works for them. Tarot decks are fairly expensive, so take your time
and find a deck that appeals to you before you buy.
Once you have found a deck that is evocative and visually pleasing,
you should make sure that it is, in fact, a tarot deck. There are
several decks that are marketed as tarot, but are not. All tarot decks share
several characteristics. They usually consist of 78 cards: 22 trumps
(called the Major Arcana) and 56 non-trumps (called the Minor Arcana). The Minor
Arcana usually consist of four suits, each of which can be further divided
into four court cards and ten numbered cards. Some modern decks may deviate on
one or more of these points. Recently there have been several decks that
have added additional cards, but even these decks maintain the framework of
Major and Minor Arcana, suits and court cards. There are also decks that have
only the Major Arcana. Just how closely a deck must adhere to this layout is
a matter of some controversy, but a deck with 40 cards and nondifferentiated
suits is clearly not a tarot deck.
I divide tarot decks into three types: traditional decks, theme
decks and art decks. Traditional decks include the Rider-Waite, Aleister
Crowley's Thoth, and decks based on these two standards. Traditional decks
have meaningful symbolism. A butterfly on a card in a traditional deck
will have a specific meaning. Theme decks are based on a theme like
Shakespeare, or the Grail Legend, or a specific Pagan tradition. Art decks are designed
to be aesthetically pleasing, but may lack meaningful symbolism. A
butterfly in an art deck is usually there because it is pretty.
If you simply cannot find a deck that appeals to you, but you still
want to study tarot, you may want to start with a traditional deck. Once you
have learned to read with a traditional deck, you will find subsequent
decks easier to learn because most theme decks and art decks still bear
similarities to traditional decks.
When you find a deck you like, ask whether there is a book written
specifically for the deck you have chosen. The vast majority of
decks come with a small instruction booklet with brief card meanings and one or
two spreads, but you will probably find the booklet wanting. If there is
a separate book written specifically for your deck, purchase it when
you buy your deck, or as shortly thereafter as possible. Many decks are sold
as deck-and-book sets. This is probably the best way to go.
Take your time shopping for a deck. You will be spending a lot of
time with whichever you choose. Choose a deck that you find pleasurable to
look at, and the time devoted to study and practice will be a pleasure, not a
chore.

What's the Difference?
Posted by: "Lady Nightshayde" LadyNightshayde9@aol.com nightshayde99
Sat Apr 9, 2011 8:47 pm (PDT)
Difference Between Drug and Medicine
From chemistry point of view, there is no distinction between the terms drugs and medicines, i.e., all drugs are medicines and all medicines are drugs. However, our society and law make a clear-cut distinction between these two terms as follow:
A medicine is a chemical substance which cures the disease, is safe to use, has negligible toxicity and does not addiction. In contrast, a drug is a chemical substance which also cures the disease but is habit forming, causes addiction and has serious side effects
Difference Between Ice and Snow
Though ice and snow are both made up of water, there is a difference between the two. Snow is nothing but the frozen atmospheric vapour which falls in winters on earth as light flakes whereas ice is simply frozen water. Another difference is that snow fall can be seen only in winters at areas of high altitudes and places near the Polar regions whereas ice can be seen in any season of the year in our refrigerator.
Difference Between Duty and Responsibility
Duty is a moral commitment to something or someone, whereas responsibility is a condition of being responsible.
According to Cicero, duties come from four sources. Duty is a result of human beings, one's particular place, one's character and one's own moral expectations. His philosophy of duty has been depicted in his famous work On duty.
As duty refers to moral commitment, it denotes an active feeling for doing something. Once a person engages himself with some duty or if he has been entrusted with a duty, then that person fully commits himself to it. In the case of duty, the person will be involved in activity without any self-interest. As a citizen of a country, a person has many duties to perform. It is his duty to adhere to the constitution.
Responsibility can be termed as an ability to act at one's own will, without any supervision. It is the obligation to successfully complete an assigned task. In responsibility, a person takes upon the duty to compete the task and to make the task a success.
In responsibility, a person is solely responsible for the entire task and its outcome. In case of responsibility, he takes the ownership of the entire task. Responsibility can also be explained as a set of instructions in life that one has to follow. It is the responsibility of the parents to give good education to their children.

It is possible that you may found some differences in the above definitions as it depend on professional to professional.
