I don't know any unfortunately. At least not that I know of.

Who are the Indigo Children? How do you feel about the Indigo Children
today, do you still believe? Who are they? And how are they identified?

while all of us have varying definitions, perceptions, understandings of god, goddess, the Divine (however we choose to express it; some see this as outside of ourselves while more grow to perceive this is apart of who we are) the essence of this message, freedom of being our Selfs, who we are, is where we all find common ground and it is in that I wished to share it with everyone. love, Shay

HEAVEN #3638 Freedom, November 10, 2010

God said:

Do not let habit become a way of life
for you. A habit doesn't let you choose. You have free will so that you
can make choices. Make new choices. You are free. Freedom is not to be
scared of.
Be someone who chooses life. You can do it. You do not need to follow
old programs. If you have had insecurities, you don't have to keep
them. You likely have been following old patterns. You may feel that
life brings old patterns to you. It may be you, beloveds, who bring
these old patterns along. You don't want them, and yet you are wreaked
with these old patterns again and again. We come back again to your
perception. You have a habit of a way of seeing.
If you did not see the villain in someone's actions or words, you
would pass by the actions or words. You wouldn't stop for them the way a
taxi-cab picks up a fare. You wouldn't find yourself locked in the
past.
We can go back further. Whatever situation you find yourself in now,
if you had not been locked in the past, you may well have not repeated
the initial reactions that led you to the impasse of the situation you
are in now. You brought out this difficulty. I won't say you created it.
I won't say you invited it. And yet, had you from the beginning of this
relationship not been coming from the past, the past would not have
repeated itself.
You are no longer the child who once had to submit. If you were the
oldest child who could boss his siblings around, you are no longer. If
you were the youngest child who had to cower or flee, you are no longer.

But perhaps you are cowering still. Are you afraid you won't be
liked? Are you afraid that you would lose? What would you lose?
Affection? Perhaps affectation.
And what might you gain when you declare your independence from the past? Independence
of past enactments would be a lovely thing. No past build-up. No
accumulation. No more old carried-over keeping the past active in the
present.
If you have been a bully, desist. If you have been the bullied,
change your posture. No longer do you want to be victor nor victim. You
do not need to sell yourself short. You can be wise and wonderful now.
Be wise and wonderful now.
Whatever you have been or appeared to be, you can stand with your
back straight. Whatever habit of presentation you have had of yourself,
you can be true to yourself now. You are not obliged to be a derelict of
yourself. You do not have to abandon yourself to past patterns and
perceptions.
We are speaking of something very basic to human life now. Much of
humanity have become like oxen who carry old burdens and follow the same
path. But you are not an ox, and you can be new right now. You can be
your true self right now.
The Great Ones did not carry the past along with them. They chose
new. They emptied themselves of the past and walked straight and true
through life. They walked without encumbrance. This is how they walked
forward. They stepped out of the past. They released themselves from
their childhood. They set themselves free from the past. Their personal
childhoods no longer mattered. They did not wear heavy coats of winter
in summer. They threw off the cloaks of the past. What hang-ups did the
Great Ones have? They left hang-ups behind. They became sovereign of
themselves.

It is a matter of balance

"My soul is the bridge between spirit
and body and, as such, is a uniter of opposites. ...Without soul at
center, I would either transcend into spirit or become mired in matter."

-- Marion Woodman

Ram Dass
talks of how his first spiritual goal was to be rid of his physical
existence. He came to understand, though, that our spirituality lies in
bringing higher consciousness to our world of form. When we can do so, we can delight in all aspects of creation.

Soul exists in the balance of spirit
and matter. For a soulful life, we pay attention to both, seeing
spiritual qualities in material forms. As our awareness grows, we begin
to use consciousness to influence and create form. It's through form
that our spirit expresses.

"Walk in balance with one foot in your spiritual understanding and one foot in your physical world of accomplishment."

-- Lynn V. Andrews

Power Animal of the Day: Unicorn

The Unicorn

Faith
Healing          Mystery

Take
a deep breath and let the spirit of the unicorn fill you.

Click here to Listen to the Unicorn's Song.

The greatest blessing of the
unicorn is that of faith, for the unicorn exists completely within faith and
draws all of her powers from faith.  Whenever you feel doubt coming over you,
either in your own capabilities or in the future outcome of something you
desire, just breathe in deeply and picture the mystical spiral horn on your
forehead.  Feel faith filling you as you watch it slowly growing larger.  You
are the unicorn and it is impossible for you not to believe.

The unicorn will also bring
you great powers of healing.  She will unlock your own potential as a healer,
allowing you to connect deeply with others and give them powerful guidance that
will open their lives to love and peace.  Be patient as you learn how to use
this new power.  It is very real and will unfold to you gradually over time.

The unicorn will also open
your imagination, allowing you to see into the worlds of mystery and myth,
unlocking your potential as a teller of tales and perceiver of truths that go
beyond the ordinary and into the legendary.  The world of fairies and sprites is
waiting to open to you in beauty and wonder.  It will open at your command, for
you are the unicorn.

Quado's Garden: Express Your Inner Truth

Posted by: "Ash" mhc4sure@yahoo.com   mhc4sure

http://www.quado.com/quados-garden/050806.htm

Express Your Inner Truth

Today, see
yourself
clearly and find ways to express what you see, feel and know as yourself.

You have been trained by
parents, friends, teachers and coworkers, all of the people with whom you have
associated, to think and act in a certain way, and to express yourself in ways
that are deemed acceptable.  As a result, you may now be canceling yourself out,
compromising and editing before you have even uttered a word.  You may have lost
touch with much of your inner truth.

The self-expression we seek
here is not expression of pent-up anger and frustration.  What we seek is the
truth deep inside, the place in your solar plexus which feels calm and
comfortable when you are within your rightness, the place in your heart which
opens wide when you have given expression to your truth.  This is what we are
seeking:  an open expression of the deepest truth within you.

It may take some seeking to
find, but if you quiet your mind and allow your body to feel its way along, you
will find wondrous things inside you, just waiting to be expressed.

Daily Devotions of the Goddess

A
world that breeds fear to dominate and control others is not a world of
the Goddess. As Her children let us not mistake abuse or cruelty for
power. For our spirits need to seek out understanding, if only in our
own hearts. Therein we shall find true harmony with the Goddess. Blessed
be.

I have a few but two of my favorites are 1)Joan Bunning Learning the Tarot 2)Jung and the tarot. Jung and the tarot taught me to go deeper in the meaning of the cards and to follow the fool on his journey. I found it very interesting.

bay leaf in your shoe today so the Goddess of Reason walks with you. Or
wear any garment with predominantly red or blue coloring to invoke her
powers through color therapy!

Today is an excellent day to take
up any course of study you've been considering. Burn incense blended
from dried sage (for wisdom), rosemary (for memory improvement) and mint (for alertness). If possible, pre-pare the incense at noon to accent
conscious awareness and the rational self. Move your study tools through the smoke of the incense saying,

"Goddess of Reason, see my desire.
Ignite in me knowledge's fire!"

Finally, was an oak leaf (press it in waxed paper with an iron) and keep it in a book that you are studying. This keeps reason with you while you read.

Make Your Wishes Come True Spell

Make Your Wishes Come True Spell
.
This magic ritual is performed in Thailand every year on this day. Start by making a small boat from colored paper, choosing the color of the boat to represent your secret wish. If you want to bring love into your life, make a pink boat; to bring more money into your life, make a green boat. Place a small offering such as a crystal, a coin, or a flower into the boat, and breathe into the boat your secret wish. When the time feels right, set the boat adrift in a body of water. Keep your wish secret or it won't come true.

Babylonian Epic Songs

The Goddess created
huge sharp-fanged snakes
whose veins ran with poison,
who wore their strength like gods.
She made the dragon, the lion,
the madman, the scorpion,
the storm, the mad dog, and
all the monsters of the earth.
~Babylonian Epic Songs

The
Goddess is not a simplistically positive figure. The cosmos is composed
of light and dark, death and life. Thus the goddess who represents it
must encompass everything. She cannot be limited to what we find useful
or attractive; she is not only symbolized by what is fair and lovely to
our eyes. In such ancient texts as those of the Babylonians, we see that the goddess creates negative, unattractive, even terrifying forces and
beings as well.

This
does not make her evil, or even partially evil. Many Goddess religions
are not dualistic; they do not, in other words, divide the world into
good and bad, positive and negative. As the familiar Asian symbol of the yin-yang suggests, our world includes both black and white. As the
Celtic monk Pelagius pointed out more than sixteen centuries ago, it is
not humanity's job to decide what of creation we wish to accept. This is our world, our life, our death. And divine force resides in all of it,
even in what seems monstrous to our eyes.

DailyOM: Undistracted Energy

Today's DailyOM brought to you by:

November 10, 2010
Undistracted Energy
Pure Thoughts
Pure thought is focused attention which creates power and energy because there is no distraction.

If we make no effort at all, our thoughts usually scatter in a vast array of directions. They start and stop and move in surprising ways from one second to the next. If we try to follow our thoughts without controlling them, we will be amazed at how truly inconsistent they are. Yet, if we apply our minds to a specific task, especially one that interests us, they gather together and allow us to focus our attention, creating great power and energy. This is what is known as pure thought, because it is undistracted.

The law of attraction—like attracts like—influences all energy, including our thoughts, and this is what makes pure thought so potent. Our undistracted thoughts create a powerful magnet that draws similar energy into our vibrational field. As a result, the longer we are able to hold positive thoughts in our minds, the more powerful the positive energy around us becomes. We don't need to focus on action and controlling so much when we are surrounded by energy that draws what we want toward us. We can simply respond to the opportunities that naturally come our way. When this is the essence of our experience, we can go with the flow, knowing that we will be okay.

If pure thought is a body, it is our emotions that supply the heart that can really bring it to life. Our thoughts and feelings exist in relation to one another, and they form a feedback loop through which they communicate and empower each other. When we hold a thought in our mind without being distracted, we have achieved pure thought. When we have a positive emotional response to that thought, we enable it to dance and move and breathe itself into existence.

Introduction to Tarot: Week 1: Getting Started in Tarot

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Introduction to Tarot

Week 1: Getting Started in Tarot
From Patti Wigington, your Guide to Paganism / Wicca
Welcome to the first lesson in your Intro to Tarot e-class! We'll spend the next six weeks learning all kinds of things about Tarot, from how to select a deck to what to do when readings fail. We'll also go into depth about the meanings of the Major Arcana, we'll talk about the cards in the four suits, and you'll learn three different layouts to use in your readings.

Let's go ahead and get started! Today, we're going to look at the basics of Tarot -- and even if you think you know Tarot, you should go ahead and read this anyway. We'll also discuss how to select and care for a deck of cards.
Tarot 101: A Basic Overview

What, exactly, is Tarot? To people unfamiliar with divination, it may seem that someone who reads Tarot cards is "predicting the future." However, most Tarot card readers will tell you that the cards offer a guideline, and the reader is simply interpreting the probable outcome based upon the forces presently at work. Let's look at the history of Tarot, and we'll discuss how the cards actually work. Go There

Selecting Your Tarot Deck

For a beginning Tarot reader, few tasks are as daunting as actually choosing that first deck. There are hundreds of different Tarot decks available. Some are based upon famous artwork, movies, books, legends, mythology, and even movies. Others proudly declare on their sparkly boxes that they are not just Tarot cards -- they are oracle cards, wisdom cards, healing cards, and all kinds of other things. Really, it can be a little overwhelming. Here are some tips on selecting the deck that works best for you. Go There

Keeping Your Cards Safe

So you've finally found the deck of Tarot cards that speaks to you -- congratulations! You've brought them home... but now what do you do with them? Learn how to "charge" your cards, and protect them from both physical damage and negative energy. Go There

Exercise: Explore Different Decks

So are you ready for your first homework assignment? We'll have one each week, and this first one is a fun one. Your exercise for the coming week is to go out and look at different Tarot decks. Ask friends if you can see theirs, go to bookstores and peek at the boxes, dig around at the local Wiccan Shoppe if you have one nearby. Get a feel for all the different decks that are available to you. If you find one you like enough to buy, that's great, but if you don't, that's okay too - your deck will come to you when you're ready.

Next Week: Get Ready to Read the Cards

Next week, we'll talk about how to prepare for a reading, and how to actually interpret the cards. We'll also look at the first group of cards in the Major Arcana, and discuss their meanings. Have a magical week!

Hello All!
I have already been through this part a few times so i'll share my experience. My first deck was gifted to me. It looked like regular playing cards and did not have the major arcana but I learned to use them and basic reading skills.
My next deck I chose called to me. It was the Gendron and had no book to go with it. It looked very difficult and my friend told me i should choose an easier deck. I bought it anyway and bonded with easily. The symbols spoke to. I was In the process of moving and we 3 hurricanes in Orlando . My deck was in its bag in my car when it flooded . I was sure it was destroyed. My sister took each one apart carefully and dried them. She said they were blessed my mother nature. I used the deck until the next deck called to me.
My next deck caught my eye and I was not looking for a new deck but I couldn't stop looking at it. My friend and I would meet at the book store for coffee and every time I just had to go touch it. Almost a month went by and my friend said I should buy it. I told I had a deck . We discussed it and I decided this must be the new deck for me. The Sacred Circle Tarot is the one I use till this day. I still have the Gendron but I do not feel the strong connection I had with it before.
My dream deck is the Salvador Dali' deck with the gold trim but not sure I have a real connection with it.
Sandy

Herb Of The Day: Ginseng

Herb of the Day:
Ginseng
(Panax Qiunquefolius)
Folk Name: Wonder of the World Root
Gender: Masculine
Planet: Sun
Element: Fire
Powers: Love, Wishes, Healing, Beauty, Protection, Lust
Magickal
Uses: The root is carried to attract love, as well as to guard one's
own health, to draw money, and to ensure sexual potency. Ginseng will
also bring beauty to those who carry it.
Burn ginseng to ward off
evil spirits and to break hexes and curses. A tea of ginseng is used as a
powerful lust-inducing drink, whether alone or mixed with other like
herbs.
Hold ginseng root in your hands, visualize your wish into
the root, and throw it into running water. Or carve your wish onto the
root and toss it into the running water.
Ginseng can be used as a substitute for mandrake. The roots are often shaped like a man as with mandrake.
Blessings,
Lady Becky

First thing is first, how do you get to know your cards, there are so many
it's hard, I treat mine like families and the Major Arcana as life and
human experiences, first take a look at the Major Arcana cards, get to
know them, read about them, try two a day for now...Then we'll move onto the others, each suit
represents a family unit, the Sword Family, Cup Family, Pent Family,
Wand family and that way I learned how each family unit is. That we'll
do later, the major first

Tomorrow read up and study the two cards, The Fool and Magician, lets get to
know them and share what they mean to you and we'll share what we learn
tomorrow night

Old November
Day (Samhain, Day of the Dead) - The calendar in the British Isles
changed in 1752, but in some parts the eleven-day difference was not

Day. This was a remnant of the festival of Samhain, or Halloween, when

Wroth Silver – possibly
Britain's oldest ceremony - One English St Martin's Day custom goes back at least 800 years. On this day near Dunchurch, wroth silver (wroth
means money, a word related to worth) is paid to the Duke of Buccleuch.
One of his ancestors made certain concessions to the people of 25 towns, but in return they have to pay him nine shillings and fourpence (or a
"white bull with red nose and red ears"), which they drop into the
hollow of a large stone. The participating towns' representatives then
all retire to an inn – formerly the Dun Cow Inn – for a breakfast at the Duke's expense.

Some Ghost-Hunting Tips

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Wed Nov 10, 2010 8:39 pm (PST)

Some Ghost-Hunting Tips

As winds turn cold, and darkness grows deep, you may wish to try ghost
hunting. For this, get a candle lantern, a camera (preferably digital), a flashlight, and dark clothing.
Go to an old graveyard after dark. Light your lantern, and whisper:

" By the spirit of fire and water,
I call you down.
By earth and wind,
you come to me.
By the authority of the rocks and the trees,
we mingle together.
Spirits, I know you. Spirits, I see you.
Make your presence known to me! "

Once you hear any sort of rustling sounds, start taking pictures like mad.
Before leaving, thank the spirits. Do not take anything away from the
cemetery unless you plan to replace it.
Download your images at home. If you get circles or balls of light, these are
called ghost orbs. You may have captured the image of a real ghost.

Sixth Homeric Hymn

Goddess, here's a deal for you:
help me win this contest.
Help me be eloquent
with my song. Smiling one,
flirtatious Aphrodite,
wink at me just once,
and I promise I'll make
another pretty song just for you.
~Sixth Homeric Hymn

Creativity is part of life. Look at the nest birds build, producing an intricate artifact from gathered material. Look at the
complex webs spiders weave across our doorways. Look at the sky, painting itself with colors in the dawn and evening.
Everywhere we look, nature has created new beauties for us to enjoy.

And we ourselves? Each night our minds, freed from the limitations of our daily agendas, create wild tales in colorful
settings. Each day we speak in sentences no one has ever spoken before; we have conversations as unique as
individual snowflakes. Yet we discount these easy creations. Is it because such creation is effortless? Where is it written
than an action must be difficult to be labeled creative? Glorying in our innate creativity is an important way to honor the
Goddess.

Today's Goddess: Oonagh Lunantishees (Ireland)

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Wed Nov 10, 2010 8:44 pm (PST)

Today's Goddess: Oonagh
Lunantishees (Ireland)

Themes: Fairies, Nature, Devotion, Relationships
Symbols: All Fairy Plants, Silver, Dew

About Oonagh: This ancient Irish Queen of the Fairies is also a potent Goddess of Magic. In Irish legends, Oonagh is a faithful wife and the most beautiful of all Goddesses, having long silky hair and a rove of silver and dew. Today, she brings the fey into our lives to remind us of the unseen worlds and to awaken the child within each of us that dares to dream and wish.

To Do Today: Sometime in November, the people of Ancient Ireland celebrated a day for the "wee folk" - a time to revel in fairy folklore and superstition. We can wear green, which is a fairy favorite color. Don some pleasant sounding bells that tinkle lightly when you walk. Fairies love this sound. Or carry a staurolite stone, also known as the fairy cross. This stone not only brings luck bit also helps in controlling elemental beings such as the fey.

To see fairies today, find a four leaf clover and lay seven kernels of grain beneath it. Or go to and area where oak, ash, and thorn trees grow together. This is said to be sacred ground for both the fey.

If you're concerned about fairy mischief, wear red for protection. Or, carry some flint as the Irish to keep fairies at arm's length.
