Re: Avon Healthy Makeup Eyeshadow, select shades and codes
(see below)
This is to advise you that select shades of Healthy Makeup
Eyeshadow, were produced with missing or incorrect ingredients. Avon is
therefore conducting an urgent recall of this product. This product is
featured in the Campaign 20 What's New and in the Avon Brochures,
beginning with Brochure 20.
The Shade Names and Lot Codes of the Healthy Makeup Eyeshadow
affected by this recall can be found on the label on the bottom of the
product.
The shade being recalled because it contains an incorrect color
pigment ingredient is:

The shades being recalled for missing preservative ingredients are
as follows:

Codes: MIO01, MIN01, MJT01;
* Tiger's Eye:
Codes: MHQ01, MH501, MIA01, MI301, MJD01, MJE01, MJS01, MJR01, MJY01;

Codes: MIJ01, MIM01, MJB01, MJD01, MJS01, MJT01, MJZ01, MHX01, MHY01;
* Lilac Ice

In addition, these six shades are missing other minor
ingredients.
We are not aware of any health-related complaints involving these
shades. However, this return is being requested to prevent the possibility of
the products becoming contaminated and posing a risk of causing eye infection
due to the missing preservatives. These specific shades of Healthy Makeup
Eyeshadow have been removed from sale.

Eyeshadow for either personal use or for a Customer, you will be receiving
important documents via first class mail over the next few days providing you
instructions on retrieving and returning the eyeshadow(s) to Avon.

and women who have served in our nation's military. Some may not agree
with the military actions the United States has engaged in during their
lifetimes, and others, who may not know any soldiers, struggle to
connect to the meaning of this holiday. But whatever one's political
beliefs or personal experiences, today is a good day to work for
healing. Whether you want to direct energy toward ending a world
conflict, increasing tolerance in your own community, or a soldier you
know who has been wounded or psychologically injured in combat, take
time today to create an altar. On the altar, place three candles—for
hope, healing, and peace. Visualize a world in which the soldier's job
is no longer necessary, and acknowledge the value of fighting for
freedom and human rights. Close your ritual with a salute.

A steam inhalation with Ginger essential oil may help a stuffy nose. Add
threedrops each of ginger, lavender and eucalyptus oils to a bowl of
steaming hot water. Keep your eyes and mouth closed and deeply
inhale the vapor until your nose starts to clear and you can breathe
a little more normally.

Opal is probably one of the most misunderstood and myth-ified stones in
the crystal realm. In my many years of working with and selling stones. I
have heard (among other theories) that it's a bad-luck stone, that you
should only have one if someone gives it to you as a gift, and that you
should only have/wear it if it's your birthstone (Libra).
I don't think that opal is a bad-luck stone; nor do I feel that there
need be restrictions on its use. I do feel, though, that this stone can
have very powerful effects. I also feel that opal's reputation as a
stone which causes misfortune is directly related to its powers.
Opal contains up to thirty percent water. This, plus its ever-changing
play of colors (called opalescence) , give it the ability to mirror and
magnify one's emotions. Different kinds of opal have varying effects on
the emotions.
The opal most frequently used for jewelry is a clear or white opal, with
brilliant flashes of color. This opal is one of the most beautiful and
has one of the more intense effects on emotions. If you're in a good
mood, feeling happy and optimistic, opal can help to magnify these
feelings and is a perfect crystal to wear.
It can be just as perfect if you're not feeling so wonderful, but you
might not want to go out while you're wearing it. I recommend wearing it
against the heart and allowing your feelings to be released. Watery
opal can release tears, and that can be a healing experience. If you
still feel raw, I recommend taking Rescue Remedy, four drops in a glass
of water), every hour until you feel back in balance.
Opal can also help if you feel a general kind of depression or
resignation, as it will stir up the emotions. In working with opal this
way, it can be helpful to work with related Bach Flower Remedies,
Mustard for general depression (i.e., not clearly related to a specific
cause) and Wild Rose for resignation.
Fire Opal (related to the second chakra) is helpful if you feel you need
more vitality (or "fire" in your life. People find that it lights the
flame of optimism. When we're in optimistic frames of mind, we often
find it easier to look at the past and let go of it, the general
reasoning being, "Look at where I am now. That's behind me." In the same
spirit, it releases intuition and a corresponding trust in the senses.
The following three opal types have softer energy.

Boulder Opal, formed in a sandstone matrix called ironstone, has light
flashes of blue against a rich pattern of dark brown, reddish brown, and
tan. In addition to its visually exciting qualities, I feel it gives
emotions a safe home by grounding them. I use it for emotional
expressiveness (fourth and fifth chakras) in a grounding way (first
chakra).

Oregon Opal is especially helpful for magnifying all positive emotions
in a very subtle way. It does this by activating spiritual awareness.
This stone's gentle message is that, while you may experience yourself
as a physical being in a separate body, you are connected to all life.
With that connection established, Oregon opal helps you to view your
life purpose in a greater perspective. It relates to the seventh chakra.

has an emotionally soothing quality. I think of it as being useful for
communication on a spiritual level--which may include esp, distant
communication, and communication with animals, angels, and other

OPERATION CIRCLE CARE: Yuletide Care Packages for Pagans in the Military
For the fourth year in a row, Circle Sanctuary is honoring and supporting active
duty Pagan service members through Operation Circle Care.
This year, we are widening our focus and sending Yuletide care packages to
active duty Pagan troops serving in any overseas theater of operation, including
Germany, Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, or on board Navy ships. The success of this
program is due to the generous support and donations from Pagan community
members from many paths and places.
With your continued support, it is our goal to honor and remember each and every
Pagan US military service member we can with a special personalized gift for
Yule, just as we have in years past.
Here's How to Help:
(1) SEND CONTACTS: Send us names, postal addresses, and if known, email
addresses, of deployed Pagan service members who would like to receive Yuletide
packages. Pagan service members can submit their own names & contact
information. Contact info received will be kept confidential for use by OCC
only. Send contacts to the OCC Program Coordinators: occ@circlesanctuary.org .
Be sure to include full name and rank as well as an accurate APO/FPO address for
each deployed military Pagan.
(2) DONATE ITEMS: Donate gift items that are small and easy to mail such as
Pagan music CDs, incense, jewelry, Pagan calendars, books, and altar cloths.

"This is the "death or the end" the Mayans speak about-- the death of our
planet as we know it. We as human beings have a choice to make with only
two options. One, we continue on as we are, blind children constantly
gutting Mother Earth for all she is worth, taking without replenishing,
using without thanking, polluting the air and the soil, the animals and
the plants, killing, raping, abusing, neglecting and torturing each other
and Mother Earth, ensuring our death. Or option number two, we witness our
mistakes as human beings and come together as one people to start taking
responsibility for our actions. We once again learn the wisdom of the
past, the truths that have been lost for so long and act on them...
"We cannot heal the Earth until we heal ourselves, and the biggest wounds
we carry as human beings are those buried deep within our masculine and
the feminine beings. These two energies have been so out of balance for so
long, that it is impossible not to see the damage created by this
imbalance in almost every living human on the globe. The imbalance is so
great that without rebalancing and healing, we human beings simply will
not be able to survive, nor will our planet.
"For many years, I guess since I was around 8 years old, I have been
getting "lessons" from a voice or voices who call me Child, and it all
began down at the river. There is a very special spot at the river I have
ran to for many years "my special spot" is what I call it, it has always
been a refuge for me, a place where there were no humans, no houses or
even roads. This spot is something very special. For years I thought it
was only me who could feel the tingling in the air and in my feet as I
walked on the Earth there. I have had many beautiful and magical
experiences down there, always during the hardest times of my life when I
would run off to my refuge. I became very close friends to the animals
that lived out there and the beautiful trees that I used to sleep in. It
was here at my special spot that the most amazing things started to happen
to me.
"I once lay on the ground looking into the trees one night as I saw a
light blue light. At first my rational mind decided it must be someone on
a tractor plowing in the field beyond the trees but there was no sound at
all, no wind at all, everything was so silent as I watched this light get
bigger and bigger as it moved through the cotton woods. I watched the
light as it appeared from out of the trees, a light blue orb of light. I
wasn't scared at all. I guess I was transfixed by what I saw, if anything
I felt at complete peace as I watched this light. As the light came closer
and closer I could make out that this light was not just light, it was a
woman.. a woman made of light. Again I wasn't frightened at all, I felt at
complete ease and a still calmness. I was still lying on the ground just
watching her approach. I can remember every single detail of this woman,
her hair was long and wavy with two braids at each side of her face that
were pulled back, her dress was also just made of light blue light that
waved as if there were a breeze but there was no wind at all, her face was
full of love and compassion, a kind of love I can not describe in words.
She came and placed her hand right at the side of my face very lightly so
that her palm was holding my cheek. This is all I remember of this
experience. The next thing I remember was waking up in the morning. I was
still lying in the very same place I had lay down the evening before.
There was a small heard of elk across the small running river to the west
of me, an owl above my head, and I remember it being cold-- I could watch
the steam literally rise up off the elks backs as they began to rise up
from sleep and began to graze on the meadow grass-- but something was VERY
different! The elk had this color moving through them, sparks of color
that moved like falling snow or slow moving water, I watched for a while..
rubbed my eyes and looked again, still there! Everything looked different,
Everywhere I looked things had colors running inside of them, not just a
color but moving, alive color! The owl, the grass, the trees, even the
water... I must have looked insane to anyone who could have seen me. I
spent hours on my hands and knees looking at the soil, the ants, staring
at a blade of grass giggling and then rubbing my eyes again and again..
but every time I opened my eyes I could still see this color moving
through things.
"It wasn't until I went home that I discovered there was something else
just as amazing and I have to admit a bit confusing! I was still dazed,
excited, confused, nervous about seeing colors but now there was something
else, not only did different people have different colors moving in them
but almost all of them, with the exception of some infants, had an image
of an animal in their chest or next to them! As you could imagine growing
up in a small Mormon community, I didn't pipe up about what I was seeing.
In fact, I thought I was going crazy and spent many years as a kid being
embarrassed of how I saw things. The next few years were hard for me, one
because I didn't know what was happening to me and I didn't want anyone to
find out that I was so "weird" Things got even weirder as I started to
understand how I could communicate with animals. Even now I'm very aware
of how this must sound to someone who can't quite understand this. I still
have a hard time putting into words how this actually happens but I will
try.
"Knowing where an animal is, even what species and sex the animal is
without even seeing it, happens in many ways and with all the senses, It
is a taste, a sound, a texture and a color and even a number.. All of
these things happen quickly and almost simultaneously. Each animal is
different, so for example if there is an elk on the road a mile up ahead
around the corner I will get the taste of pine needles in my mouth, a
feeling of coarse wet fur and the number 4, the color brown like tree
bark..compared to knowing there is an owl in the tree outside the house
while eating dinner in the dining room..feels like the number 8, and is
dark purple and is like a cool breeze at night. This is the best way I can
describe it and how it happens, this is also how I understand animals and
what they are "saying" its not with words its with textures and tastes,
colors and feelings.. if they are scared its bright yellow or orange, I
feel panicked and it's a pitch or a sound in my head. Aggression is red,
the number 9 and feels annoyingly hot... when I know what they are saying
and feeling, then I send them information in the way of emotion and energy
with color and sound. I'm not sure how to better describe how it happens
but as a child I did not dare describe this and hid the fact of what I was
doing most of the time by just saying.. I think you should slow down, or
I'm gunna go outside for a minute when in fact I knew there was a dog in
the lambs' pen. As I grew older I still didn't really admit what I was
doing or the lessons I was learning from the other side, or those spirits
who would come to me and literally teach me things about life and how they
work, how we are connected and so on until I became shaman.
"Becoming shaman was a total surprise to me, when I was called to be
shaman for the Sioux and Salish tribes I was scared and almost turned the
calling down because of the responsibility and huge commitment it would
take, and because it would mean I had to come clean about all these "weird
things" I had been experiencing. I was told by people in the tribe that
they knew I had been receiving teachings from grandmothers' past to
prepare me for the day I turned 30 and became shaman. Somehow knowing that
others knew what was happening to me gave me the strength and the courage
to step forward into my calling. Since becoming shaman I now walk fully in
the wisdom I have been given and the gifts I have been blessed with so
that I can better serve, love and honor Mother Earth and all her creatures
including all of my brothers and sisters on this planet. I have promised
to share my visions and my lessons with those I come in contact with.
"As I said previously, I have seen and even interacted with many beings
from the other side.. but I believe there are differences between those on
the other side whom I call the ancient ones or ancestors and those who
come from different places in the universe. It is my belief from what I
have been taught that there are many beings, many groups of beings.. Some
are less intelligent/spiritually coherent if you will, and many who are
much much more advanced than we are
intellectually/spiritually/ energetically and so on. It has been my
experience in the past that there are also those groups of beings who are
more advanced than we, but that are also on the same level spiritually as
we are, so they have come here, to our planet, in search of things that
could better them, or wished to know more about us and how we operate, and
in doing so gave many of us a good fright by the means in which they took
their information because they do not feel the same fear emotions and or
compassion as we do. Having said that, I have been told and I do believe
strongly that they will no longer be visiting us, in fact they have been
stopped. I know I'm going a bit deep here but bear with me as I try to
explain. There is an intelligence higher than us, I say higher but what I
mean is that they understand more, they spiritually are more advanced,
their consciousness is far beyond our own here on this planet and they
deeply love us, they see us as "children" trying to make it but we are
making many, many mistakes, they are not angry at us but they want us to
do better, they want us to succeed, they do not want us to harm each other
or kill the planet. This Earth is VERY important to them, they love Her as
a living, breathing being, who is the mother to many creatures who WE
(human beings) will not be allowed to destroy. Understand that they love
us, yes; but they also love the rest of the living planet and they will
not let us (the only living creature on the planet that kills needlessly,
pollutes, destroys and neglects the others) destroy Her. We, the human
beings, are the only thing killing Mother Earth and we will not be allowed
to do it. They, the "star beings" do not want to see us fail, or destroy
each other, they want us to realize who we are, what great capabilities we
have and this is why they are coming to our planet and will be coming
"with their families" to help us.
"My goals in life do not include making a huge name for myself or making a
ton of money. Being a shaman should never include these sorts of things
and I think it's a good way of weeding out the "went to school to become a
shaman" kind of shamans. It should be a service, from the heart, a way of
sharing a gift that was given to you in this earthly life to help heal and
teach others. It's a responsibility, not just a gift. My goal in life is
to simply stay true to what I know, be honest and as loving of a person to
all walks of life as I can, and to serve, heal and teach others to love
and protect Mother Earth and Her creatures."

Tonight going to Lyle's house up in Ringwood we have to drive through some really dark roads in the woods, I got this strong feeling come over me and was just not comfortable, I wanted to get out of there there feeling was so intense, driving up to
his moms around the bend suddenly this figure appears from the woods looks to be in black pants and white shirt walking across the road into the recycling center which is fenced, this figure appeared to be walking but yet off the ground and went by quickly, not running. I was chocked up and said out loud did you see that, my daughter in the back said she saw it too. I got all teary eyed the feeling of sadness was just so over whelming. WE get to the house and I couldn't stay outside by myself so went in and talked bout it found out others have saw the same man in black pants and white shirt cross that road. I have to go back tomorrow with my camera.

Using Yourself as a Pendulum
You can use your body as a pendulum by allowing a tilting forward or back in answer to yes or no questions.
Learning to trust our intuition is something that can connect us with our higher selves. Sometimes it might not seem easy to do this. Our thoughts and minds often get in the way. But by accessing our innermost self, we will find that the information we receive is usually what we truly need at that moment. One of the techniques that allows us to really get in touch with our deepest font of wisdom is using our body as a pendulum. The simple act of letting our physical being lead us in a certain direction can offer us extremely deep insights and help us find the answers we seek.
Many of us may have tried using a pendulum or crystal on a chain as a dousing tool to acquire the information we need to make decisions or even find lost objects. Using our bodies puts us much more closely in tune with our being. The process of using your body as a pendulum is to ask your higher self a question and wait for your body to respond in either a forward-tilting or backward-tilting motion. The first step is to really understand how our higher self communicates with us by centering our bodies, asking ourselves the directions for "yes" and "no," and noting which way our body moves. For a lot of people a forward motion is "yes," and your body tilting backward is a "no" answer. It is easier to start with simple questions at first to understand how our higher self communicates with us. As we become more used to the messages we receive and how we process them, we can start asking for more specific things such as what dosage of herbs
to take or which foods would best nour! ish our bodies. Using this technique in the grocery store or when shopping for vitamins and remedies can be extremely helpful.
Since we are always present in our bodies, understanding how we can use our bodies as pendulums is a tool we can use at any given moment in our lives. Letting our bodies tell us what is happening inside of us will in turn help to guide us through not just daily but also major life decisions. The more we allow our bodies to open up and share with us the connection it has with our deeper self, the better able we will be to truly access the knowledge we hold so deeply within.
