Actually I am informed today is Al Saints Day, and tomorrow All Souls
Day. Honestly I always thought they were the same thing, and I was
Raised Catholic before becoming Pagan. ... Still it is important to be
accurate. Blessings Again. BB.

the day our Christian, and Christ-Witch friends Honor their Dead, pause
and reflect on persons who have blessed their lives, safe in the
knowledge that those have past have found their way to the Fathers

The Poet's Ogam: a Living Magical Tradition

Folks,
I have used Ogam as a divination tool for many years and have designed my own system which is in my newly published book 'The Poet's Ogam' I have included the blurb and a link below (I hope this is ok with the moderator). I have studied the Tarot, astrology, I Ching, Runes and practically every divination system I have been able to find, over the last 20 or more years.
I have been in a period of hermetic silence over the last 5 years and am delighted to now put myself and my work-out there-I look forward to participating in this group.
Thanks
JP
"I am delighted to announce the publication of my book The Poet's Ogam: A Living Magical Tradition. It is a creative exploration of the Ogam, based on a 17-year study and is the first book ever published in the field of esoteric Ogam studies by an Irish author.
The text explores the historical context of Ogam and the relationship between Ogam, poetry and the Gaelic harp. It contains a range of comparative studies between Ogam and the Kabbalah, Runes, I Ching and other systems. The text also presents original creations of an Ogam Calendar, a divination system, and a reconstruction of Fidchell (the ancient Irish chess game) based on Ogam. Furthermore a system of Gaelic martial arts based on an elemental Ogam framework, magical Ogam squares, Ogam pentacles and much more, fill this Tour de Force of contemporary Ogam study and use.
This book carries on the Art and Science of the Filid-the Philosopher Poets who created and developed the Ogam and is a must for anyone with an interest in Celtic spirituality and magick.
Please follow this link for the book:

It is also available in a hardback edition and as a download.
I have also set up a Facebook page for anyone interested in that.

Moderators Note: It sounds quite interesting, perhap you could share a few words about just what the Ogam is, this group attracts many 'Baby Witches' as my friend describes herself, and I think a few words by someone with your expertise might be very enlightening. BB.

I have a bunch of stuff that I'd LOVE to post on this site, but I'm not about to type this stuff again! Please advise of your prefered method of receiving copies from my files. I know of your concerns about virus things that can be put onto attachments, which I have been respecting for many years, by not sending attachments, and by posting little things now and then. You'd be surprised by some of the stuff in my files........

ps - I hope your Samhain went well!

Rose,
How about sending one or two items you'ld like to share directly to my
yahoo adress, I'll see if I can convert them to HTML; then I could send
them to you so you could post the HTML and proper credit would go to you
in the posted line. Or I could post your Byline with the post. Either
way folks would know they come from you. Blessings, BB.
