HI KERRIE,  

Thanks for inviting my response and comment.   The only art work I currently
sell,  is framed tapestries.   I, only do one at a time, with no established
annual turn over rate.   I  sell framed tapestries I have completed, on
commission at Art Galleries situated around the Rocks, Sydney, and in Galleries
East Coast and Launceston,  Tasmania.   
 
I do not think on line sale for this type of expensive art work appropriate.

I was wondering ....... would you be interested in selling your pagan art
via an online gallery, selling Pagan specific pieces? Thinking of setting up
one... possibly similar to "Amethyst Gallery"... but would like some
expressions of interest/ feedback from both artists and other interested
parties, before I make the big leap!

Good heavens, where to begin. Starting at the trunk and working my way up the tree may be the best so to speak. I believe that one is pagan if you are not a follower of Christianity, Islam or Judaism. That being said, there are those who follow the path of Paganism and search no farther than that. It’s an umbrella term that people use to describe anyone who is not of one of the three major beliefs in our modern society. To those outside of Paganism they seem to find Wicca/n and Paganism to be interchangeable. Those who live under that umbrella know the difference but those looking in cannot see beneath. Paganism to be is someone who starts with a nature based beliefs and work from there. Some might argue that someone following the Egyptian or Greek gods would not fall under this description but I’d like to point out that each of these gods were given lordship over a part of nature and thereby became the embodiment of that part of our world.

That out of the way I would say that a Christian, Muslim or Jewish Witch does not exist. The reason I believe this is through discussions with Christians as well as ordained Christian priests or ministers, some of whom now say they are pagan and no longer follow the beliefs of Christianity. The reason for this strong belief that someone following these paths cannot be a witch is that their belief is very specific that you must ask unto their god and only their god for guidance, assistance and anything else they need. If they need healing, ask god. If they need help financially, ask god. If they are going through a rough patch emotionally, ask god. The church and the bible teaches that their god provides all and therefore someone who seeks outside of their god is not following the belief that god will provide and therefore, not following the teachings of Christianity. This is why I do not believe you can be a witch and be Christian, Muslim or Jewish.

I believe that the rest of the paths that I would group together as Pagan are very difficult to define. I believe Buddhism (yes it’s in there as a non-evangelized faith) and Taoism (see previous) are the most clearly defined beliefs. I’ve found that I will get a different answer and description of what a path believes depending on who I ask. Within those who are Wiccan, I have found from my experiences that I can ask ten different people what they believe and receive different answer from each. I know of someone who says he is a Celtic shaman but I have been unable to find any historical reference to the shamanic beliefs of the Celtic tribes. His mother associates herself closely with the Celtic peoples and his father was a goodly portion native American and so he has been influenced by both of these beliefs. I have found that I am unable to really understand what any one person who is a part of the Pagan community believes without a significant amount of discussion with that person. I feel there is a lot of eclecticism going on but within certain paths you can see common threads among all those following that path which makes them unique.

I'm not sure how much experience you have within your chosen path and I don't know what your beliefs are however I will stress the idea of harm none. Not necessarily harm no human, but harm none. I believe most here would agree that humans are not the only creatures in this world capable of sentient life and therefore what you are proposing is the enslavement of a creature that can think and choose. You may want to think of it like enslaving a child. Taking something from yourself and enslaving it for your own wants and desires.

Another item I want to stress before continuing is the responsibility we have in regards to how we use information available to us. Any actions that impose your own will on another is enslaving them no matter who it is or what your intentions. Would you want someone else to impose their will on you? An example would be a love spell specific for "Sam" (the cute boy who lives down the street) to fall in love with you. Sure you wouldn't mind if Sam did a love spell for you to fall in love with him but what if Bob who is not at all what you want or need in your life did this to you? Would you want that imposed upon you? You may want to consider these things before deciding how to proceed with this venture.

I have never read anything about what you are describing but from the sound of it, it sounds dangerous and i would be hesitant to do such a spell again. You are giving access to your mind to another being. You're giving them access to your mind and all facets of it. You're also giving them a portion of your aura to it. I highly doubt that is enough to give this creature life and therefore have to assume this is another being that is being drawn into your spell. This of course is even more dangerous as you are now drawing in a being with it's own wants and desires and you are trying to impose your will on it which may go against it's desire.

If I were you, I would release the being you have. I would also offer an apology and draw back any part of your aura you have offered. I would offer something to it such as herbs, a treat, or something like that. You might have a better idea than I. You might also want to do a banishment back to wherever it was drawn from.

I hope you will take these things under consideration as your safety and well being may be in danger.

the book sprang to mind immediately upon reading your post, along with the
Universal Laws that majority of us here know... especially the ones along
the line of "don't f..k with something you have no knowledge about and if
you do be prepared for the potentially huge consequences".

And apart from those there is a slight bit of pissed offedness that you
are attempting to control others..... allowing your servito to enter the
heads and "dreams of others" (comes under categories of "FREE WILL" and
"HARM NONE")
Naivity is never a good excuse when it comes to f...king up and f....king
around with this type of thing.

But "the-young-are-still-so-young" attitude (that comes from "older, wiser
members of the community") aside, I can suggest you may have had problems
due to and with the command associated with the word "MET"...... who else
can say the word to destroy your creation?
