We have been asked to let the Pagan community know that Lord Senthor - aka Steve Collins - passed through the veil at about 3:30pm on Monday from cardiac arrest. He was founder of the Pagan band, Moonstruck, and was formerly the High Priest of the Church of Ravenwood in Atlanta. Funeral arrangements will be forthcoming. With love in our hearts, let us honor his life and his spirit...May his friends and loved ones be comforted...

Well Martha, you and I differ greatly when it comes to what's important
to our religion. There's more to it than what color candle to use -
maybe caring about billionaires thwarting Democracy and killing the
Environment some of us think ARE actually concerns. Maybe waking up to
the real enemies of most Americans, no matter our religion is of concern
to many of us.

Just let some crazy Pagan do something stupid and these extremist and
intolerant Right Wingers are going to be after Pagans like they're after
Muslims who have nothing to do with terrorism or abuse of other people.
But sure, just let the billionaires and the Right Wingers completely
take over the country. When they've regressed women's rights decades,
privatized the air you breathe and making money selling you respirators
maybe you'll have some regrets about not doing something when there was
still time.

Ok, ok.....enough.

This IS a community group of similar religious beliefs so the sharing of
events and activities, including political, is encouraged. So if anyone
here has petitions or protests or parades or seminars or anything that
impacts the community - namely witches from all walks - please share and
give us an idea why you think it impacts the rest of us in the community.
We don't have to agree with your approach, but we allow everyone to have
their voice heard and share.

Debating viewpoints that are polar opposites without any hope of compromise
is not encouraged. We don't expect Voudoun (sp?) folk to doubt in written
word (a.k.a. posting on this board) the veracity of Norse beliefs, any more
that we expect the Tea Party and PETA to see eye-to-eye on here.

So, Martha, if you have any events or activities you want to post here,
great, please do so. Karen, please continue with posting the events and
activities you evidently feel so passionate about.

Let's just stop the bickering.

It seems to me that the Pagan MC and their felonious activities have NOT brought any rightwinged vengeance down upon anyone. Further, it seems strange to me that a feminist ought to defend Islam. Aren't we now in a war to save the women, in Afghanistan?

Some of *us* believe whole-heartedy in the power of dollar voting, even if we disbelieve in the whole right-left trip. And we call both those "wings" parts of the same deception that is used to tell us what to think.

They are part of the box *we* need to think outside of.

Well considering I've been an openly republican pagan for 15 years in small
town Georgia, and with the Tea party since it's inception maybe I have seen
a different side than you. They're not the ones I'm seeing with a closed
mind. This is a religious group, not a political one, not every pagan
shares your views, some do, just like in my pit bull aficionado groups some
would be interested in my cross stitch information or pagan information, or
my mensa groups some would be interested in my crochet projects or pit bull
events, it doesn't make it appropriate to post them there.
