Used in a diffuser, Eucalyptus Smithi makes a good room disinfectant. Don't
forget about using at the office.
Eucalyptus Globulus which is the most common is usually rectified and is not
suitable for children.
Note: Use Eucalyptus Smithi in the same way as the globulus. It is milder
in its chemical composition.

On Samhain

On Samhain
It is believed that the spirits of the dead remain wandering until Samhain, when they can finally cross to the "other side" to rest, as the passage between the living and underworld is open. With this doorway between worlds slightly ajar, the festival of Samhain is also regarded and respected as a time that allows mischievous and restless spirits to make a temporary return to or world.
On this night, take a symbolic journey to the underworld with a virtual or actual walk in a labyrinth. The mystical labyrinth is believed to be a metaphor for the journey of death and rebirth as you travel through the spiral patterns to the core and return on the same path. If you can visit a labyrinth, take the journey. Or you can mark out a temporary labyrinth on sand, or on the ground with twigs, string, or tape. As you travel to the center, leave behind thoughts and images that no longer serve you, shedding unnecessary emotional burdens. Upon reaching the center, stop and imagine you have arrived at the underworld where you can communicate with loved ones who have died. On your walk out, focus on the release and rebirth and enjoy the symbolic transformation.

Tis' Samhain Night.
Dance through the grove,
leap throughthe Air, and slip on
through the trees.
Feel the earth beneath
your feet, and the
cool grass on your knees.
Deeper and Deeper,
on into the wood,
Parents can't follow,
but they wish that they could.
To dance and to sing
and do anything
that their trapped inner
child desires.
Into a clearing, hidden
away, with treetops
so high, it'd be
night during day,
here is where the
fairies play and emerge
on Samhain Night.
A fire is lit and a
circle forms, the ritual
starts and the whole
group mourns. Their
Great One has slipped
away and henceforth,
Samhain Night.
Louder and louder the
wailing grows, when
it will stop, well, only
She knows. For She
too, mourns her King.

Solstice brings. . . . .
Here on Samhain Night.
They reach the peak
and die away, the velvet
sky shifts into gray. Now it's

day, on what was

as light seeps through

a sense of unease,
of what had been
SamhainNight.

YuleFest 2010 in Florida

The 10th annual YuleFest gathering returns to All World Acres, Tampa Bay area, on Thursday, December 9 through Sunday, December 12.
We are happy to be celebrating the 10 year reunion of this wonderful event and the awesome community that has built up around it. The highlight of this event is sharing with others in a comfortable village atmosphere.
The festival will include a Yule ritual, healing circle, sweat lodge, nightly drum circles, workshops, vendors, camping, entertainment and activities for the entire family.
Activities will include: The Amazing Olav show, live music, Native Chanting and Drumming experience, Yoga, Tai Chi, Healthy cooking workshop and demo, Nocturnal Magick, the Story of Yule, Preparing for the Magical Year, Living Within the Energy Connection, Drum Circle drumming workshop, Mead Making workshop, Celtic Warrior workshop, Tour the Organic Garden, Trade Blanket, Lots of crafting including making stained glass ornaments, Yule Carols with the kids, and so much more.
All World Acres is a not for profit sanctuary that has been in service to the community since 2000. The ritual areas at AWA have seen rituals for every season and reason. Scores of handfastings, rites of passage, initiations, elevations, blessings, memorial services, and honorings have taken place here.
