Just looked this up on Snopes and it's confirmed. Let's do it, folks!

Thanks Fran for running this throuh Snopes and confirming it, I never thought to because it came from my online coven leader. We were trying to find a way to let our soldiers know they are remembered. Since it looked so easy to do I thought I would share it and spread the cheer this year.
Blessings

Advice and information, please...

Merry Meet,
I don't normally post and am more of a "lurker", but am finding myself needing some advice and information. My future step-son (who is 16)has been suffering from depression and was recently hospitalized for a week for self-harm and suicidal thoughts. My question is; what kinds of crystals or stones would be good for him to carry to help him combat these issues?? Any and all help/info is greatly appreciated. Also, if you could keep him in your thoughts, that would be great as well.
Thanks,
Merry Part,
~Denise~

I gave a friend at work a quartz crystal and she said it made her feel happy the moment she put in her pocket, so you might give him a rose quartz and a clear quartz. I never carry just one, I carry two. I don't like to be alone, so don't carry my stone people alone. I have gotten so used to doing that it has become part of my daily routine when I am getting dressed for work that I put my 3 stones and a buckeye in my pocket.
Also if you are close with him you might carry a stone with you for 30 days and give it you energy then give it to him and let him know that when he has it he is not alone that your spirit will be with him.
Many blessings
Keelty Sage

I would presume, in addition to standard medical measures, you are looking
for things which might help comfort and guide him.
Rose quartz has been mentioned; it's an all purpose stone which promotes
love. Amethyst and citrine both promote tranquility and peace of mind.
Carnelian is specifically endowed with properties which work upon mental
instability. You could sew these up in something he could keep in his
pocket, close at hand or --- being a teen --- you might present them in
something charming like a sweat sock. Sometimes they like the novelty.
Make sure he has someone to talk to, that he sees a counselor or
psychiatrist as he is supposed to, and that he takes whatever medications
they put him on. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to medically
treat the *reason* he is cutting himself and having suicidal thoughts;
they're symptoms, not the problems. A good cleansing of the entire house
and the area in which he most frequents, if you can do it without invading
privacy, would do wonders as well.
Of course, whatever thoughts I have to spare belong to you and yours. I know
what a difficult situation this is. Sadly, have been there and done that
--- as the suicidal cutter.

For the shower you can:
Boil the herbs and mix with enough water to cool it and pour over head right
before stepping out of the shower.
You can also boil and put into a spray bottle and spritz all over before
stepping out of shower.

The Lone Ranger Creed!
By: Clayton Moore
"I believe that to have a friend,
a man must be one.
That all men are created equal
and that everyone has within himself
the power to make this a better world.
That God put the firewood there
but that every man
must gather and light it himself.
In being prepared
physically, mentally, and morally
to fight when necessary
for that which is right.
That a man should make the most
of what equipment he has.
That 'This government,
of the people, by the people
and for the people'
shall live always.
That men should live by
the rule of what is best
for the greatest number.
That sooner or later...
somewhere...somehow.. .
we must settle with the world
and make payment for what we have taken.
That all things change but truth, and that truth alone, lives on forever. In my Creator, my country, my fellow man."
Love Each Day,
