New Year ritual / spell advise

I lost my husband through suicide in September of this year. I would like to end this year with a ritual of sorts. I dont know if I want a ritual to say goodbye to this very painful year, or a welcome to what I hope will be a much better year for my kids and I. I'll take advise on this also.

Please excuse my ignorance, but this will be my first purposeful ritual and I will need as much detail as possible to help me perform it correctly.

I'm not sure also, if I should perform this ritual during a particular moon phase, or if New Years Eve will be most appropriate.

Dear Nicky,

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I would dearly love to help you, but as this ritual is so very personal I feel it would not be right to just put anything up. I would be willing to help you personaly if the moderators of the list would allow and if you wanted to of course, because I feel it would benifit you and your children more to write something especially for you but I would never ask you to expose your pain for public viewing unless that would be better for you of course.
My email is public for anyone to email me, as long as the moderators or group owners agreed.
