Aside that Politicians are well paid whores who will say anything later do whatever they want, what is there to say about Politics that hasn't already been said? Much like Roe VS Wade, it's a dead horse and beating it further does nothing. Pray tell WHAT can be said about such a thing that has not already been said?

Politics is a game fools play in the hopes of getting what they want from a Politician. Regardless of what branch of tree you're sitting on, it is going to end up costing the tax payer. Period.

Democrats tax & spend; Republicans borrow & spend. Same thing.

I'd rather pay a hooker for sex than to donate to a Politician's campaign because at least with the hooker I know what I'm paying for & will receive something for my money. Wish I could say the same for a Politician.

I'm with Shakespeare: "Kill all the lawyers". Let's thin the herd a bit, eh?

Good quesition, Ed. Used to be you could find folks who practiced the Odinic Rite but I've not seen any of them in ages. They used to haunt Metaphysical gatherings here in the US but these days all I see are Asatru folks.

Try looking up "Odinic Rite", "Asatru", and "Priesthood of Odin" in a search engine.

Numerous pre-Christian Pagan religions honored their gods' birth or rebirth on December the 25th. Jesus is not the biography of a historical Messiah, but a myth based on Pagan stories, there is no evidence that Jesus of Nazareth ever lived. Christianity is a Jewish adaptation of the ancient Pagan Mystery religion, all of the essential ideas of both Judaism and Christianity came primarily from Mystery religion. Virtually all of the details of the life and teachings of Jesus have their counterpart, there are strong parallels between Christ's life and Greek, Hindu, Buddhist and Egyptian myths. Christianity began as a cult with Pagan origins in the first century. Christianity is but a recent version of a very old and universal myth.

In ancient times around the time of the winter solstice, many cultures worshiped their deities, 25th December was celebrated in ancient days as the birthday of their deities. The Julian calendar, establishment December 25 was the Roman Winter Solstice, Gregorian calendar which put the Winter Solstice to December 21st – 22nd.
