With each element, Wendy sings herself into a sacred trance, and fluidly moves between song and spoken word meditation. As a group, we cast circle, dance, sing and laugh together.

On Devotion 10am to 1pm

When there is a movement deep within one’s self to connect so strongly with The Divine, that one energy becomes focused with a refined yearning, intention, purity and singularity, that discovers a note, a sound, a vibration in prayer, song, dance, and... ritual that connects wholly with that Oneness, that is devotion.  When done successfully there is an opening, a unification in energy and the connection with The Divine is made. The supplicant’s call is then poised for a response. This is the magick of devotion.  We take a look at the ingredients of devotion, through the eyes of many our world’s most prominent devotees, Rumi, Theresa de Avila, The Christ, Mohandes K. Ghandi, as well as the Solomonic view.

Lyratah Barrett is the chosen protege of Shakmah Winddrum and the co-director of the New Seed Sanctuary, a magickal Lodge in Philadelphia PA. Lyratah is a force of nature who lights up a room with a commanding power and grace. Her connection with Spirit is a living example of commited discipline and faith to the Great Work. She is also a student and teacher in The Sanctuary and has been a disciplined praticioner of the occult and several magickal disciplines for over 30 years. She lectures in several disciplines within the occult traditions, including meditation. She is also a certified Feng Shui consultant.

Tarot and the Spheres: 2pm to 5pm

Knowledge of the Qabala can inform one's knowledge of the Tarot, and knowledge of the Tarot can inform one's knowledge of the Qabala. Learn how these two systems correspond to and enrich one another. In this workshop, we will explore the relationship of the Minor Arcana and the Court Cards to the Tree of Life. We will explore the Four Worlds and their relationships to the suits and Court cards.

Helena Domenic is an Elder in the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel. Helena has belonged to three covens within the Assembly previously, and served as High Priestess in two, Oak and Willow and Weavers of the Moonfire. She is now High Priestess of Chalice of the Living Stars, a coven in the Chester County, PA area. An accomplished artist, Helena's art has been exhibited around the United States and abroad. Her specialties are Tarot, Qabala, and Art and the Sacred, and African art. Helena has also taught at Sacred Space, Ecumenicon, Etheracon, Akashacon, Morgan's Cauldron, Rutgers University, The University of the Arts, and a variety of other venues. Helena has a BFA in Painting from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, an MA from The University of the Arts, and has an MFA from Goddard College in Vermont. Helena's art can be seen at: www.helenadomenic.com and at www.mythandwonder.com.

Goddess For Today:   Amari De Tirgil de fete de pe Muntele Gaina (Ro

Goddess For Today:   Amari De
Tirgil de fete de pe Muntele Gaina (Romania)

Themes:  Arts; Humor; Relationships; Love; Fertility; Wealth; Health; Beauty
Symbol: Light

About Amari De: In Romania, Amari De is a Gypsy Goddess who is the great mother of all things and the personification of nature.  According to lore, she bestows wealth, health, beauty, love, fertility, and insight to those who seek her.  Descriptions say that she was so holy that a divine light always shone from her face.

To Do Today:  A Transylvanian folk festival, this fete was originally a marriage fair where young people came looking for partners.  Over time the custom faded, and now it is simply a crafts, costume, and musical exhibition with lighthearted satire and nightlong bonfires that glow with Amari De's light.  In keeping with this tradition, if you're planning a wedding or engagement, today would be a wonderful date to consider for either, as it draws Amari De's positive energy to that relationship.

This is also a good time for single folks to get out and mingle, carrying an Amari De love charm along for a little extra help.  Find a little piece of luminescent cloth (like a fine silk that shines) and wrap it around a pack of matches.  Bless the token, saying,
Amari de, bring love my way!

Ignite one of the matches before going into a social situation so Amari de can light your way!

Gris-Gris Bags

Gris-Gris Bags

Gris-gris bags
have been used for as long as things have been remembered. They are
fairly simple to make and can be used easily by even those just
beginning the path of magick. Most of them are made from flannel it is
what seems to work the best.  These should always have no fewer than 3
ingredients and no more than 13, also never use an even number of
ingredients.

Gris for Love {basic}
This gris bag is
for simple basic love coming into your life, not directed for a specific individual, it is a good one to start with.  You will need a piece of
red flannel about 6 inches in size and a piece of red string, or yarn to tie it with.  Then you will need the following items to place inside
the piece of flannel: Amber, Balm of Gilean, Juniper Berries, 2
Loadstones, and Allspice

Always ask your
spirit guides and deities for guidance and protection before  you
start:  offering a candle (fire), water, incense (air), and flowers
(earth) to them in whatever ritual is appropriate for you.

Once you have done
that, pace your flannel in front of you and focus on the final outcome
of what you desire.....not the steps leading up to it only the final
outcome you are wanting. Think of that as you place each of the items in the center of the flannel.  once you have placed each one in the
center, ask for what you desire.......tie the flannel together as a
small pouch, and carry it with you until your desire is granted, then
place it in a safe place where it will not be disturbed.

Egyptian Song Of Isis

Posted by: "Cher Chirichello" CHIC0411@YAHOO.COM   chic0411

Sat Jul 16, 2011 9:49 pm (PDT)

This was what the Goddess Isis did:
after she had mourned Osiris,
she made wind with her wings
and flew on her own power
around the world, in grief,
never resting until she found him.
And when she found him,
motionless and dead,
she drew out his essence
and created new life.
~Egyptian Song Of Isis

After the dark times of loss, we somehow find strength to go on. Whether we have lost a job or a relationship, a loved one to death or a home to disaster or divorce, we struggle back to life. We do the laundry, we answer the mail, we watch the clouds sweep across the sky. Slowly, the pain of loss finds its place in our life, and one day we wake up to find ourselves truly alive again.

The mystery of the soul's healing after loss has never been better expressed than in the great Egyptian myth of Isis. The goddess loses her beloved husband-brother Osiris not once, but twice. And each time she seeks him out and finds a way to bring him back to life. The first time she truly reinvigorates him, but the second time he is dismembered and lost to her completely. Nonetheless, she finds a way to bring life out of death. On this day, when the ancient Egyptians celebrated the second great feast if Isis, the Night of the Drop, let us meditate on life's healing potential.
