<smile> Yes, I'm not quite sure why, but classical music, and certain composers in particular, can generate an impressive magic that popular music cannot quite match. I have a new favourite composer these last several years: an Icelandic gentleman called Jon Leifs. His Saga Symphony is magnificent, and his Geysir, a tone-poem, takes you deep underground, superheats you, then spits you high in the air and onto the surface again. Awesome to meditate to - and I mean that in the original sense of the word. Nisaba

Wow and wow. I recently saw/heard a performance of Holst's "The

Planets" with Sydney Symphony Orchestra (it was brilliant) and today

I saw a marvelous complement to it. Meet Alex Cherney, a talented

photographer with some awe inspiring views of our southern skies.

Ironically his shots are in the online "Daily Mail" (UK). Witness

some of Alex's work.
