Oh for joy, for joy, 'tis census time again

Howdy folks.
Its here again. Bloody government asking impertinent questions at inconvenient times and incompetent bureaucrats threatening us with penalties should we dare to not comply. Then on top of that, we have the Pagan Dash mob thumping their drums and peddling their snake oil elixir.
Be assured dear reader, the Evil Emperors that govern our sorry arses shall glean not a jot of information from any census forms visited upon the Barbarian's humble abode. As for the Pagan Dash brigade, then to them I suggest sex and travel...In short, they can rush off cavorting and rejoicing.( that's not what I really mean but I know my intemperate language upsets Tim sometimes so I shall refrain from suggesting that They (Crude word for intercourse) off.

Thanks for the reminder Bill.
For anyone who is contemplating filling out a census form, just mentioning that if convenient, it can also be done online:
http://www.abs.gov.au/websitedb s/censushome. nsf/home/ 2011%20Census% 20-%20eCensus
and registering a pagan-specific response is worth considering I think:

Lastly, I just wuv watching these stimulating government commercials about sex'n travel...

... OK now it's time for me to go run and duck for cover! :)

Hi all,
I really don't mind putting Pagan on the census form, and being counted for my basic belief system. As a comparison to the Christian belief system I once heard that they have over 100 thousand different denominations, they all call themselves Christians but when referring to "that lot down the road, well they don't quite have it right"
Maybe our community should learn something from this and have a little tolerance and understanding of that "Pagan group down the road" who don't do things the way you would.
I am not being critical of anyone; this is just my point of view.
Regards
Simon

Hell Fire Club International Chapter Gathering
When: Oct. 1st. 2011
Where: London (area), England UNITED KINGDOM
Hell Fire Club International Meeting
Event Details: 'Sacred to Liberty & Friendship'
An international gathering at the infamous 'Hell Fire Caves' at West Wycombe in Buckinghamshire UNITED KINGDOM October 1st 2011
WE ARE HAVING A PARTY!!
Though not generally understood, the Hell Fire Club is still active today. Tracing its symbolism and ideas back to Sir Francis Dashwoods daughter Rachel Antonina (died 1829) , and the 1940's esoteric group ('The Phoenix Nest') at West Wycombe, the modern day 'Hell Fire Club' has members in the UK, and Europe as well as developing contacts in the US and Australia. The club charges no membership fees and requires no oaths or specific beliefs or practices to be followed, yet it is demanding and requires one to develop ones powers along the way: '..To some a simple dining club, to thers a deep study of the soul'...
On October 1st 2011 we are having a day-long party in and around the village of West Wycombe!
The event is an international gathering which will host speakers from the Bristol University teams and University College London who have completed the worlds first full surveys of the original 18th century 'Hell Fire' sites across the UK.
The day will include afternoon refreshments (from 2pm) , evening buffet with drinks, private entry to the church and caves (opening in the evening just for us!) , two guest speakers, a full display of the 'Stewards Raising' (a type of initiation) and a private party at a fabulous retro studio in the town where there will be an exhibition from the clubs archives (18th, 19th and 20th century objects, paintings, prints, books and letters) party to go on til late!
Guests from France, Holland, Belgium, USA and all over the UK will gather for what promises to be a day of wonderful discoveries and new friendships made!
This is a defining moment in our history, we would welcome guests from the local area (you may be surprised who is there already!) and from all around the UK as well as members coming from abroad.
Tickets (which include all food and venue entries) are strictly limited so if you are interested please respond at your earliest convenience.
The limited edition tickets are a printed booklet which contain full details for the day, they may be purchased direct from Amazon by following the 'Event Website' link at the bottom of this page.
very best wishes to you all!

Please tell me ........anyone..... how another 15 years would
be excessive..sheesh!!!

Five years' control enough for paedophile, says judge
Robin Fletcher is allowed into the general community only under tight
supervision. Source: Herald Sun
PLACING paedophile witch Robin Fletcher under supervision for another 15
years would be excessive, a judge has said.
Fletcher last month was placed under strict monitoring for five years with a
ban on contact with children and with restrictions on his religious practice
In reasons handed down yesterday, Supreme Court Justice Mark Weinberg said
he had concluded supervision for another five years was warranted.
The Department of Justice sought to extend Fletcher's supervision order
(which ended in June) to 2026.
But Justice Weinberg said the additional 15-year supervision order was
excessive.
"Had such an order been made, Mr Fletcher would have been deprived of his
liberty for a period of 20 years, in addition to the 10 years' imprisonment
served for the relevant offences," he said.

Fletcher, 54, served more than 10 years in jail for raping and prostituting
two 15-year-old girls he enslaved as part of his bizarre views and sexual
practices.
As part of the orders on Fletcher, he is not to have access to whips or
chains capable of providing sexual stimulus, his internet access to sites
has to be approved by authorities and he has to be electronically monitored.
Justice Weinberg concluded that Fletcher should remain under the closest
possible supervision for at least a year
