Hi All,

Well as I mentioned, Thu Pull was the 2 of Swords Gendron, with the Swords right over the Throat (Charkra) and sure enough I came down with just the worst sore throat, ... Click Here to view the cards.

Yesterday, (Friday) I pulled the 4 of Swords, which speak to rest and recuperation, and I did spend a good part of the day in bed; besides a short trip to the Doc for some proper AntiBotics. This was a wise move with-in 3 hours of taking the first pill I felt noticably better, the fire in my throat having largely subsided.

Today I pulled the 4 of Pents Rx, and this makes some Sense,
The 4 of Pents is very much about withdrawl, Holding one Money to tight, but as pents speak to Health and Wealth, in this case its the Health, Holding and Hoarding ones energies, and while this 4 is an often unwelcome card, as we see him in the Robin Wood, and into his little castle, his little cave, and I certainly have spent most of the day in mine, but today the retreat was needed. Quite something though if you think about it, how on point these cards have been, a very positive statement on the predictive power of the Tarot, no?

But all this makes me wonder ...
Is there a lesson in this, is there a common theme of Withdrawl in the Fours, 4 of Cups, we have a sum what sullen charactor emotionally withdrawn, 4 of Swords a Spiritual Retreat, 4 of Pents Material withdrawl, but then we have the 4 of Wands, and that does not seem to fit at first Glance, this Joyus couple celebrating there marriage. But is it completely so... after all does not the occasion of their marriage mark something of a WithDrawl from the social whirl of the 3 of Cups, Neither partner will any longer be available to other potential partners, and Single Friends very soon Find Married Friends are on a different course, and are now going a Different Way; Yes I think there is perhaps some truth in this thought, No? Your Thoughts?

But I did want to take this moment to point out a few things, Especially to "Baby Witches" in both groups that recieve this post.

Imagine if you will a small stream, its a lively little thing, and perhaps it flows through a rockgarden in your back yard. someone gets the Idea, that if they stop it up, then they could have a little Pond; and they do, and at first the Pond is a lovely thing, with a few fish and lillies and all that, but ... there is not enough water running through the pond to drain the pond ... it becomes "Dis-Eased" the fish grow ill and the lillies die, and their remains rot on the bottom. Yuck!!

Ok,
As I mentioned, I strongly suspect my current dis-ease is tied to my doing the very large batch of readings I pulled the other day. I pull circle, I chant, I do the reading, and again, and again, So like our little pond I've been pulling alot of Water (Engery) but I have alway been sloppy about Grounding, Im good at open the Ceremony, Circle, Good at using the Energy for the Reading, but after my 15-30 minute "Conversation with Nan" that makes up the bulk of the reading, I dont always ground as long or as well as I should. So residual energy builds up an in this case because of the chanting builds up around my throat, and like Stagant water, Stagnant Energy will Quickly enough go to rot.

So take an object lesson from BB,
Believe me you dont want to learn this one the hard way yourself, get in the habit now, as a "Baby Witch" and be conscious and disciplined about your grounding Ritual as you are about all other aspects of your ritual, dont get into the bad habits I've allowed myself.
Because I am still ILL I will have to ask those persons I read for last week just a little patience the Questioniare I mentioned will be posted in a couple of days.

I wasn't told what page it was on and can't remember what book it was in,
but somehow the writings of the Dali Lama in my mind seem to be associated
with three classes of events people experience in their lives. The first
and easiest are the free will events; you can get involved in them if you
like or not. The second class of events are the strong invitation events
which you can avoid but only with extreme difficulty. The third class of
events are karmic events and are always unavoidable. My thought on all of
this is that unavoidable events can run the range from highly benefic to
lethal. Bill Gates is an example of an unavoidable event when he and Paul
Allen started up Microsoft. To know how to find each class of events in
any divination system, is well worth the time and effort and many who
study divination fail to do so for a lifetime. Maybe that lesson gets
reserved for them for a future lifetime when they again take up

On Sending our Members "Invitations" to Other Groups:

PLEASE NOTE:

It is against the rules of many Groups to use their membership lists to "mine" names for other Groups -- including "social networking" Groups -- and this includes Witch Essentials.

You would be wise to ASK PERMISSION of Group Owners or Moderators, BEFORE sending any "invitations" to other groups, to them or their members.

Once more, please be reminded that Yahoo FORBIDS ITS MEMBERS to belong to "Grouply":

Warning about Grouply.Com

You will not be allowed to join this group with a 'grouply' email
account.

This is a new site which advertises they can make accessing your
groups faster and easier. Most of us are too seasoned to fall for
something like this, but I am posting this as CYA.

This is what happens when you join:

"First, when a member joins, it automatically changes their primary
email address for the groups, giveing them a @grouply.com extension.
This is being done unaware to those who are joining.

Secondly, members who join the grouply website are having to give
their member ID and password. This opens up a security issue for
those members.

Thirdly, once a member joins grouply, it opens access to the files
and posts of each group to the grouply website. Grouply staff can
then access these files. If they get hacked, then it opens the doors
to the groups getting hacked as well. It has also been reported that
it's generating a lot of spam already."

In other words, information from a group can be made accessable to
everyone, and massive amounts of spam with your email address can be
generated.

The following information tells you the steps which needed to be taken
if someone has joined Grouply.com

IDENTIFY THEFT AT GROUPLY.COM

There is a message going out to different Yahoo Groups advertising
and suggesting that you join a new group called GROUPLY. This group
claims to help manage all your Yahoo groups and you will get a
summary, at the end of the day, telling you what is going on in all
your groups.

IF YOU JOIN THIS GROUP, they use your Yahoo ID and password to
post "mass mailings" (can be junk, can be porno) and send them to
anyone, and since it's YOUR ID they are using, others will think it
is coming from you.

For instance, you could get an email CLAIMING that it came
from "emagic2" Yahoo group and it really is not from this group. I
could get an email, with this mass mailing, claiming it came from me,
and it wouldn't have been from me.

Again, IF YOU HAVE JOINED THIS GROUP called "GROUPLY" IMMEDIATELY
leave Grouply. Then go into your account at:
http://groups. yahoo.com/ mygroups and change your password. Some
groups have posted that this will help. Unsubbing from that group
won't make a difference (but I think you will want to) so change your
Yahoo Password.

By joining this group you have also exposed all your groups, group
members and group leaders to hacking of their emails and group
information.

Because of this problem, all members with a email grouply.com are
being removed from the affected groups. This is the only way to
protect all the members. This is how Identity theft gets going.
They now have your real email, your yahoo emails, any emails listed
in your yahoo group and can mail as you in and out of the yahoo
groups.

I hope you understand what is happening and will take precautions to
protect your Yahoo ID.
