Dream Analysis advice wanted

Hi All,
I have a friend who has been having dreams about being tortured by a witch.
She Says "I have had dreams about my past life and in my dreams, I am being
tortured by this witch. I wanted to figure out the identity of that witch."
She Asks "I was just wondering if you know anyone who is knowledgeable in this
area? Or perhaps you would know anything about it? Please let me know if you
know anyone whom I can contact and ask about these kind of stuff.?"
Is there anyone who would be willing to offer some advice to my friend.
Cheers
Simon

Well, as someone with some psychological training and a background in dream
interpretation, dreams very rarely, if ever, mean what they seem to on the surface. I'd have to
know more about her to be able to go in-depth, but from the little that youv'e presented us
with, I'd say that the "witch" represents an aspect of her own personality that terrifies her and
that she's not generally conscious of much less willing to accept as being a part of herself,
and the "torture" is it using the medium of dream-sleep, a state when the unconscious gets a
rare opportunity to communicate with the conscious mind, to let her know it exists.
In other words, a disowned part of herself, her needs, wants, desires and fears, are cruing
out to be acknowledged. The longer she refuses to acknowledge them the worse her dreams
will get: if she sits down and starts to uncover these hidden layders to her own self, and find
out what she truly needs to become a whole, integrated person, she will be much more
empowered in her life generally and the dreams will stop.

Hi Nisaba,
Thank you very much for responding,
I think my friend is wanting to understand her dreams and what they mean to her,
Would you mind if I copied your words and sent them on to my friend?
Cheers
Simon

OK - You can see the artwork in question at the following address:
http://www.mamophotography.com/ #/gallery/ artist-work/ sekhmet/
(Many thanks to Mamo for kindly offering to post this while I get a website for myself.) There are only 30 prints available in this size. I personally have her framed in a thick rustic blackwood frame with a gold central edge... just puuurrrrfect.
