Living a Life of Grace
When we accept that we always exist in a state of grace, we are able to live our lives more graciously.
Grace exists inside of all of us and around us. It is our inner beauty that radiates outward, touching everyone we meet. It is that unseen hand that comes from the divine, raising us up when we most need it. To be able to live in a state of grace is not based on worthiness, nor is it earned through good deeds, ritual, or sacrifice. Rather it is an unearned favor, freely bestowed and available to all, that is inherent to our birthright. All we must do is open our eyes to its presence and we will find and experience grace everywhere.
Grace is in the rain bringing relief to drought-ridden farms, and the unexpected lead for the perfect job opportunity that comes from a stranger. Grace is what happens to someone when they miraculously escape injury; it is even the simple events that happen to us that we call "good luck," like when we don't get a parking ticket after are meter has expired. Grace resides in the love between two people, the gift or check that comes unexpectedly in the mail, the cozy comforts that make up a home, and in the acts of forgiveness we bestow upon others. It is grace that moves us to go out of our way to help a stranger. In music, a grace note is the pause between notes that is so important to the pacing of a song. Grace is the state we are in when we are doing nothing but just being who we are.
When we accept that we always exist in a state of grace, we are able to live our lives more graciously. Knowing we are graced gives us hope, makes us more generous, and allows us to trust that we are taken care of even when we are going through difficult times. Grace is our benevolence of heart, and our generosity of spirit. Grace is unconditional love and the beauty that is our humanity. When we know that we are blessed with grace, we can't help but want to live our lives in harmony.

Collected over many Lives. She is All that has Happened. She is All that will
Happen. She is One who has come to the end of the Cycle. She is Feared by the
Young. She is the welcome Aid to those in Pain, to those who suffer. She is
the One to whom All turn when They no longer wish for the Life She has given
Them. She is Destruction in preparation for the New.
Still the Child was unsatisfied. The Child looked around but there was no
one else to ask. Finally the Child shouted: GODDESS! GODDESS, WHO ARE YOU?
The Goddess replied: I am the maiden. I am the mother. I am the Crone. I am
Diana. I am Isis. I am Kali. I am Birth. I am Life. I am Death. I am
Creation. I Sustain. I am the Destroyer. I am one Goddess. I am Thousands of
Separate
Goddesses. I am in Everything. I am Everywhere. I am Eternal. I am in
Everyone. I am whoever You want me to be. I am in You.
And the Child was satisfied.

Merry Meet;
I am just going throw this out to the group..I amempathic andwant to know if
there is a way to nort block totally what I am feeling ..but maybe to an extent.
The reason I ask is that with everything going on in the world I am feeling at
times very overwhelmed. Add to this the fact that I have a son in Afghanistan,
you can well imagine the influx of feelings I am picking up on. At first I
thought it was possibly the fibromyalgia had decided to target the chest for a
pain center..I was partially right; but the rest is pure empathic. [ As I sit
here typing this I am still picking up on the Missouri tornado.] Would welcome
any and all suggestions.I need to be able to balance this as my son in where he
is...I felt the explosion my older son expereinced in Iraq that left him with a
permanent profile, [ which was the result of a compression fracture to his
leg.] and 2 blown ear-drums. My youngest will be there a year.

Some people may physically show the circle to be cast, however it is not
necessary to actually cast. Casting a circle is using your energy to form sacred
space for your rituals or spells. You can place quarter candles anywhere you
want to if you are using them. They can be on a table or marking the outer
lining of the circle, it is up to you. You can also expand the circle to
encompass the entire room by simply imagining it to be so and extending your
energy outwards. You do not need tools to cast a circle, You only need your
mind, imagination and energy to get it done. You don't even need to "walk" the
circle, esp if you have limited space. Just simply imagine it in your mind and
make it so.
Just my thoughts.

I was curious about circle casting. In the past year I have had very few
circles cast due to limited space. What I am curious about is is it necessary
to have your whole body in the middle of the circle. I have heard of people
setting the candles on a table and standing next to the table, but still doing
the circle the same as far as calling in the corners/elements ect. If I could
do it like that I would do them more often, but I don't have the space or
privacy for a circle where I have to be in the center.

I personally use a chakra balancing, and white light protective meditation.
If I get overwhelmed sometimes clearing, and balancing my chakras help a lot
and if I throw in the protective white light meditation and focus that
white light around the faces, and places I am concerned about I don't feel
guilty for obsessing over things I cannot control. I too am a very strong
empath, and I have to do this quite often. I also have a problem with
obsessing over things I cant control so I use both of those techniques a lot
and don't laugh but the place I have found the easiest to do both of those
is in a hot bubble bath with the lights out and a single candle lit after my
kids go to bed.
