Attract The Love Of Your Life

You will need:
A sampler size of your favorite scent
A pink candle
First carve a heart in your candle with a tack or toothpick. Light the candle in a window where it will receive moonlight (full moon light is best). Put the scent container in front of the candle and say:
Venus, grant me the love that I lack;
Through this scent, my mate attract!
Let the candle burn out naturally, then carry the scent with you, spraying on a little whenever you are out or may be meeting people. Increase the power of the magic by repeating the invocation as you put on the scent!

Attracting A New Lover
"Practical Magic - Spells for Love"
By Antonia Beattie
The following spell is designed to help attract the most suitable person to be your lover. Copper is an important ingredient in love spells, as it is believed to be the metal associated with the Goddess of Love, Venus.
When Should I Do This Spell?
On a Friday, preferably during the phase of a new moon.
What Do I Need?
A round piece of red leather, silk, or fabric - approximately 6 inches in diameter
Two drops of patchouli essential oil
A small rose quartz crystal
A copper coin or a round, flat piece of copper sheet
Approximately 4 inches of thin, flexible copper craft wire
What Should I Do?
Sprinkle two drops of patchouli oil onto the fabric. Place the small rose quartz and the copper coin onto the fabric and take up the ends of the cloth to form a small pouch.
Use the copper wire to tie the ends of the cloth together.
Hold the bag in the palm of your hand and allow your body warmth to heat the oil that has soaked into the fabric. You will soon smell the scent of patchouli.
As you are holding the bag, visualize the type of lover you wish to attract. Be specific, and as graphic as you like. Imagine that the image of your new lover is being encoded into the copper coin and the stone.
Carry this bag until the next phase of the new moon or when the lover you want appears in your life - whichever comes first.

Variation 1
Cut an apple in half. Offer half to your desired. If he or she accepts the apple and eats it, he or she will be yours.
Variation 2
Another is to simply twist the stem of an apple, on each rotation call out a letter of the alphabet. Begin with A. The letter you call as the stem breaks apart from the apple will be the initial of your true love.
Variation 3
Cut an apple in half and carve your initials on the inside of one half, and theirs on the inside of the other. Close them back together with a sewing needle in each, loosely threaded together by red thread. Hang this from the tree it came from with a pink ribbon, and chant: Apple of love, leaf of tree, find him, bind him, now to me."
