This was posted in a group I belong to and I have permission to share it. I
ll be using it this year and thought others might like to when they remember
their departed loved ones.
This is how it was posted but I did remove the beginning for reasons of
privacy.

On Dias I remember my ancestors and especailly the lost children. I wrote
this prayer a few years back for my Nina but it applies to so many others.
And so I share with you...
Out of the corner of my eye I see your shadow.
Close my eyes, take a breath-I feel you.
Not in my arms like before; deeper, stronger- in my soul.
Still want you-still need you-still love you.
Open my eyes and wipe a tear.

Daily Insight – Change – Letting Go
Life is all about changes and how we adapt to those changes.
The thing you must realize is that you have a choice about how you
handle the change that comes your way. You can cling to that part of
your life that's changing and try to force it into not changing (which
is inevitable.. it will change anyway) or you can let go of that part of
your life and allow it to change in a natural manner.
Think about it this way.. what you lose now during this time of change..
has never truly belonged to you anyhow. Knowing this can give you a new
kind of stability and rational thinking with much greater clarity about
your life and your feelings.
Change can be hard to deal with… clinging to things in your life and
fighting against the changes that are coming only prolongs pain and
torment for yourself and others that may be involved.

As we know the goal is to live our lives magically in the moment every day in the now and while it would be nice to go and buy all the cool witchy stuff that is out there...their is so much in every day objects that we can use around the home.
So here is what I suggest...Post up an every day object once a week and let the creative juices flow and post up what we would or could possibly use it for magically.
I thought it would be kinda cool and inspiring...whatcha think..

Unhappy at School Spell
Do you have a child, or know of someone else's child, who is
unhappy at school because he or she is being bullied or teased? With their
naive natures, children can be quite cruel to others without any understanding
of the pain inflicted by words and behaviors. Without adult encouragement and
empathy, teasing can destroy children's confidence and can affect their
academic performance. On this waning Moon, offer your gift of magic to help a
child banish this from his or her life. Write the words below on a piece of
paper and fold it. Ensure that one of the folds is across the bully's
name. Tie it up with black sewing thread or black ribbon. Place it in the
freezer to "freeze" the bully's impact.
(Insert the bully's name.)
Your words no longer hurt me.
Your actions cause me less pain.

Samhain Ritual Potpourri
by
Gerina Dunwich
45 drops
patchouli oil
1 cup
oak moss
2 cups
dried apple blossoms
2 cups
dried heather flowers
1 cup
dried and chopped apple peel
1 cup
dried pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup
dried and chopped mandrake root
Mix the patchouli oil with the oak moss, and then add the remaining
ingredients. Stir the potpourri well and store in a tightly covered ceramic or
glass container.
