Color Test

These are the things we're supposed to do to remove the cholesterol around our
brain.  It took me 2 times before I could finally tell this brain of mine to
concentrate.  A great test, do it until you get 100%!
Bet you can't get 100% on the first try! But I'm rootin' for ya...
This is pretty neat!  See how you do with the colors!  Have fun!
It takes an average of 5 tries to get to 100%.. Follow the directions!
It's harder than it seems, as it should be!
A brain waker-upper for today!

Daily Feng Shui Tip for July 4

Posted by: "Lady Nightshayde" LadyNightshayde9@aol.com   nightshayde99

Mon Jul 4, 2011 11:31 am (PDT)

Daily Feng Shui Tip by Ellen Whitehurst for Monday, July 4

Three cheers for the red, white and blue! Red because it's considered to be one of the single most powerful colors on the planet. According to Feng Shui, wearing red is believed to bring you fame and notoriety. Red grabs attention and will get you noticed. In many traditions and countries red is also the color of choice to be married in, as it is also associated with amore. In the color theory adopted by this modality, red can also be attributed to energy, luck, courage, passion, marriage, faith and communication. Obviously, red is HOT. But what does Feng Shui say about white? White represents confidence, purity and poise. Wearing white will allow others to see your value as you embrace your own esteem. Combined with gold or silver, white is said to promote peace and provide a calm and cool environment. White encourages wisdom both on the battlefield and off. And then there's blue, which is believed to be able to calm and soothe. Feng Shui says that blue reflects love and that it helps to heal and relax. Blue is credited with creating a feeling of peace and trust. And since it is the color of both the sea and sky, Feng Shui says that blue is associated with adventure and exploration. Navy blue is the color of intellect and critical thinking. So whether the stars and the stripes are calling, looking at these colors anew can bring you positive energies you might not have been aware of before. So, truly, three cheers for the red, white and blue. Happy Fourth of July!

Random Tidbits about Independence Day

Posted by: "Lady Nightshayde" LadyNightshayde9@aol.com   nightshayde99

Mon Jul 4, 2011 4:25 pm (PDT)

"It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forevermore."
John Adams

RANDOM TIDBITS

Independence Day is the celebration of adoption of the Declaration of Independence. It was written by Thomas Jefferson and signed by the Second Continental Congress - July 4, 1776. This statement gave the colonies freedom from Great Britain. Independence Day was first observed in Philadelphia on July 8, 1776. In 1941, Congress declared July 4 a federal legal holiday.

Betsy Ross sewed the first American flag. It is not clear who actually designed it, but the experts at the Betsy Ross House suggest it was Francis Hopkinson, a New Jersey delegate to the Continental Congress and a signer of the Declaration of Independence.

The Liberty Bell sounded from the tower of Independence Hall on July 8, 1776, summoning citizens to gather for the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence by Colonel John Nixon.

June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress, looking to promote national pride and unity, adopted the national flag. "Resolved: that the flag of the United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation."

Thirty places nationwide with "liberty" in their name. Liberty, Missouri (26,232) boasts the highest population of the 30 at 26,232. Iowa has more of these places than any other state at four: Libertyville, New Liberty, North Liberty and West Liberty.

The origin of Uncle Sam probably began in 1812, when Samuel Wilson was a meat packer who provided meat to the US Army. The meat shipments were stamped with the initials, U.S. Someone joked that the initials stood for "Uncle Sam". This joke eventually led to the idea of Uncle Sam symbolizing the United States government.

While the British attacked Fort McHenry in 1814, Francis Scott Key watched from a British war ship. When the smoke cleared and Old Glory was still there, Key wrote the words to what was to become our national anthem.

3 Important Feng Shui Tips to Bring in More Money

3 Important Feng Shui Tips to Bring in More Money

Money is something everyone needs and wants. Besides using hard work, here are some feng shui tips to remember to generate more money. The first thing to remember is that there are financial power spots in your office, living room, bedroom and kitchen. These spots are found in the corner of the back left hand side of the room, when facing in from the doorway. Once you know the financial power spots of the office, you have to keep these areas clutter free. This is because clutter always symbolizes stagnant energy. And this clutter in your power spots will only clog your cash flow. On clearing these spots, you shift these power spots to a higher spot.

According to feng shui things that are broken have to be fixed as things that don't work indicate that something is wrong in your life. So look for things like switches that don't work, file drawers that don't repair or clocks that don't give the right time. Either remove these things, or repair them so that they work. In place of these non-working things, place symbols of prosperity in your power spots like bowl of coins or a lucky bamboo plant for more prosperity in life. Even pictures of your dream house or car can be placed here as these are effective money symbols that have some special meaning for you.

Tips for more money with feng shui
Color is an important part of feng shui, and in making more money through feng shui. This is why it is advised to accent all money areas in your house with the colors green and purple. Green is the color for vitality and growth while purple is the color for wealth. One feng shui suggestion for this is to place purple and green grapes in a bowl in the wealth area of the kitchen. These grapes can be real or artificial; however if you use real ones and eat them, make sure you replenish the grapes and that the bowl is always more than half full.

Handling money with care is an important part of feng shui. Many people are of the habit of jamming money in wallets or money dips or to keep them crumpled in the pocket. This is not at all a sign of showing respect to money; instead clear your purse and wallet of its clutter and start saving money in them with care. This is because feng shui says that if you start neglecting money, money slowly starts neglecting you. Make it a point to balance your checkbooks and to pay bills punctually and to store your checkbook in attractive purple, black, blue, red or green covers. Place this cover in the back left corner of your desk, its wealth area or in the wealth area of your office.

How to use feng shui for prosperity
Feng shui does not mean only the right placement of things for prosperity, but it also means the development of the right attitude in life. According to feng shui, you can make more wealth once you learn to live generously. This is because money is a type of energy that has to be made to not only into your life, but also to flow through your life. If you don't have money to share, you can always give your time, appreciation and compassion to others for greater abundance in life. Remember that little drops make a great ocean. So every day, you have to spend a few minutes in the evenings, thinking of all the good things in life and thus show your gratitude for being lucky to receive all these things.

It is not always getting or having something right that is important; it is learning to focus on the positive side of things in life that is important. The more you learn to notice, appreciate and show gratitude for whatever you receive, the more good things and money, you can expect to come your way. This is because prosperity in life is not always determined by the amount of money you have with yourself.

It is also dependent on how you learn to enjoy whatever you have in life. If you realize how rich you are with so many friends and your family, how fortunate that you can laugh, how fortunate you are to breathe in fresh and free air and realize the richness of your spiritual life; you will pretty soon receive material blessings and prosperity in your life.
Easy and simple to follow feng shui tips to enhance your life!

Banishing Past Sorrows Spell

Posted by: "Lady Nightshayde" LadyNightshayde9@aol.com   nightshayde99

Banishing Past Sorrows Spell

There are times when our past mistakes and fractured hopes impinge on our present and make us feel low and depressed. This occasional feeling keeps us from realizing our full joy and happiness. We return again and again to the memories of broken promises and our various disappointments. Instead of greeting each new day as a moment of opportunity, our hearts remain stuck in the past. Not to worry, we can banish these sorrows. Gather together paper, a pen, and string. After centering yourself, write your sorrows and broken hopes on to the paper, using precise language. Roll the paper in a tube and tie it with the string, knotting it tighly. Place the tied paper into a burning bowl. Light the paper and chant:

The ties of the past must vanish.
With fire and knot I do banish.

Chant until the paper and string are burned entirely to ash. Gather up all the ashes and bury them in the earth.

Ritual for the Abused Ones

Ritual for the Abused Ones
by Rose

*lifts arms toward the East*
Oh Wise One, Athene, grey-eyed warrior, stand with me.
Let your shield protect those I gather today;
Let your spear defend those I gather today;
Let your cool wisdom sink into those I gather today;
Let your owls return memory, in small painless morsels, to those I
gather today.

*Lifts arms toward the South*
Oh Raging One, Pele, spouting volcano, stand with me today.
Let your rage light the self-worth of those I gather today.
Let your lava flow over the damage of those I gather today.
Let your regenerating qualities renew those I gather today.
Let your heat fill the souls of those I gather today.

*Lifts arms toward the West*
Oh Dangerous One, Tiamat, dragon of the waters, stand with me today.

Let your vast unthinking emotion fill those I gather today.
Let your tears purge those I gather today.
Let your creativity surge through those I gather today.
Let your strength empower those I gather today.

*Lifts arms toward the North*
Oh Mourning One, Demeter, raging Mother, stand with me today.
Let your maternal love soak into those I gather today.
Let your implacable protectiveness heal those I gather today.
Let your ability to wreak justice inspire those I gather today.
Let your vast fecundity regenerate those I gather today.

For I gather the wounded ones. I gather those whose parents were no
parents to them.
I gather those whose childhood was betrayed by adults.
I gather those whose memories were stolen, whose lives were wrenched
out of course.
I gather those whose scars are soul-deep; those who had first to be
adults before ever they were allowed to be children.
I gather those who fear retribution for acts for which they should
rather seek retribution.
I gather those who were made objects; those over whose heads were
poured the ashes of shame, unjustly.
I gather those whose peers never understood why they were different,
to be mocked, to be injured: only that they were so to be.

I gather all these, to stand in a circle of protection.
I gather all these, to stand in a circle of healing.
I gather all these, to stand in a circle of justice.
I gather all these, to stand in a circle of renewal.

May they and we all regain virginity: self-possession, skin-ownership.
May they and we all regain justice: self-esteem, proper blame. May
they and we all regain time: memories in due place, knives sheathed.
May they and we all regain health: growth and progress and inspiration.

And I bind this will in a spiral: that it repeat, increasing health,
so many times as is wanted and needed.

For, Oh, you Goddesses, we are under siege; our childhood is under
siege; our children are under siege.
And we must needs heal ourselves before we can be a proper protection.

Oh Wise One, Athene, thank you. I take your shield for my own; your
spear for my own defense.

Oh Raging One, Pele, thank you. I take your anger at injury for my
own; your ability to destroy scars for my own; your self- regeneration
for my own healing.

Oh Dangerous One, Tiamat, thank you. I take your power for my own;
your emotions for my own; your ability to accomplish what you need for my
own needs.

Oh Mourning One, Demeter, thank you. I take you as my own mother; your
fierce protectiveness for the protectiveness that should have shielded
me; your implacability for the ability to free me from the hells of
dispair and grief; your joy to renew my own ability to enrich the world.

Blessed be

Cocoa Shortage Predicted without Adoption of Sustainable Growing Practices

I'm one of those chocolate lovers who truly "needs" a small dose of dark chocolate almost every day. And while I'm concerned in general about sustainability and our food system, the prediction that there will be a major shortage in cocoa — and therefore chocolate — definitely grabs my attention.
Perhaps you've heard of the Mars company? They are the makers of candy icons in America such as M&Ms and Snickers. Mars has pledged to use 100% certified sustainable chocolate by 2020. This year Mars is on track to buy 10% of their cocoa from certified sources. They warn that unless more is done to promote sustainability in the cocoa industry, we can expect a major shortfall of cocoa in just nine years.
The Mars company's cocoa sustainability drive involves 3 primary factors: Technology transfer that puts farmers first, innovations in agricultural science (like high-yielding and disease-resistant cacao trees and advanced agricultural methods), and rigorous certification standards.
If you are a chocolate lover as well, what is your "go to" chocolate source? Do you seek out chocolate that's labeled Fair Trade or otherwise certified?

Elder's Meditation of the Day

"I am particularly fond of the little groves of oak trees. I love to look at them, because they endure the wintry storm and the summer's heat, and, not unlike ourselves, seem to flourish by them."

-- Sitting Bull, SIOUX

Every season, Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, has gifts that it gives to all creatures. The animals will develop thicker furs just before Winter and will shed this fur in the Spring. Squirrels will store their food in the Fall; other animals build up fat so they can hibernate during the Winter. We can watch all forms of nature and see all creatures work in harmony with the seasons. The secret for us is to learn by observing nature. Watch the trees. Learn from them. We human beings need to learn the gifts and blessings of the seasons.

Grandfather, Grandmother, teach me to live in harmony with the seasons.

Harvests

Harvests

The season of Lammas begins on 1 August, the time of the Druidic festival of Lughnasadh, held in honor of the great god Lug, who is commemorated in the Roman name for Carlisle, Luguvalium the fortress of Lug. In the late twelfth century, Giraldus Cambrensis, then Archdeacon of Brecon, described a strangely mutated, Christian version of this festival, which took the form of a frenzied circle dance round the churchyard on the feast of the local saint, Almedha, which fell on 1 August. At that time, the men and girls, who came together from considerable distances, sang as they danced, then on a sudden falling on the ground in a fit, then jumping up in a frenzy, and representing with their hands and feet before the people whatever work they have unlawfully done on feast days. So some mimed ploughing with oxen, others went through the motions of cobbling, tanning, spinning and weaving. All occupations concerned with the essential work of the fields and the welfare of the community, but all of which should be assigned to appropriate times and seasons.

Although the connections between the Almedha dance and the Lughnasadh are not easy to trace, it is clear that the former grew out of some ceremony designed to ensure that the corn should be safely gathered in. Then, as now, so much of the success of a harvest, dependent as it is on the vagaries of the weather, was out of human hands. People could only turn to God and their own good sense.

As the harvest came to its conclusion, before the corn was stored, probably in underground storage pits, the Druidic worshippers of Lug had to take thought for the following year's harvest and reserve a supply of seed corn, which in itself became in part an offering to the gods of the harvest. In later years this offering was symbolized in many places by the elaborate corn dollies formed out of the last sheaf to be cut. Lammas is an Anglo-Saxon word derived from hlaef-mas, the Mass Loaf. It was the custom for this to be made from the first flour ground after the harvest.

In the Celtic Christian tradition, the reaping of the corn was as much a matter for blessing as any other activity of the farming year. In the reaping song below, particular attention is given to the sickle, used to cut the corn, a reminder of the sanctity of the tools we use.

God, bless Thou Thyself my reaping,
Each ridge, and plain, and field,
Each sickle curved, shapely, hard,
Each ear and handful in the sheaf,
Each ear and handful in the sheaf.

In all their dealings with nature, and especially in those aspects of nature that serve human purpose, the Druids and their Christian successors were aware of the awe and respect in which we should hold the material universe of God's creation, and the tools with which we fashion it. In contrast to this, Wendell Berry reminds us "The so-called materialism of our own time is at once indifferent to spiritual concerns and insatiably destructive of the material world".

When the corn is gathered in, it is time for the harvest of the hedges and orchards: the blackberries and the sacred apples which when cut in half horizontally reveal the perfect mandala at the center. Finally the harvest concludes with collecting and storing the nuts; and we have to remember that to the Celts the hazel nuts, particularly when the trees that bore them grew by a spring, represented kernels of wisdom.

By Samhain, 1 November, all these fruits had to be gathered, for anything left on the trees after that date would be contaminated by evil. We still say of the tasteless blackberries of late September that the devil has spat on them.

So the Celtic year ends, as our Christian year still does, with a thanksgiving for the harvests. In the Jewish tradition this event is marked by the eight-day feast of Ingathering, more generally known as Tabernacles. It is carried out in accordance with Yahweh's instruction to Moses as recorded in Leviticus that a feast should take place when the produce of the land was harvested. The Jews were commanded to make booths or rough shelters for themselves at this time, fashioned out of palm branches, boughs of leafy trees and willows from the river bank and to dwell in them for the octet of the festival in memory of the wanderings of the Exodus. By this means it would be made clear that there is no abiding place in this world, a sentiment dear to the hearts of the wandering Celts. As a further reminder of God's guidance through the desert, great candles were lit at this time in the temple in Jerusalem. In northern latitudes, the end of harvest coincides with the coming of the shorter days, the start of the dark months. So a new cycle begins.

The "Eight" Cards: Understanding Boundaries

Posted by: "Lady Nightshayde" LadyNightshayde9@aol.com   nightshayde99

The Eight Cards: Understanding Boundaries

The Tarot Deck advises us in many ways. The spread of cards before you is a layering of outlooks on your consciousness. Tarot cards are organized by suits, as well as by numerical order. Cards often carry illustrations of the same object, animal or type of person.
All of these illustrations and subsets mean something. The universe is organized in an epic manner and the Tarot's intricacy delivers this energy. As we search and seek and gain desire for things to be a certain way, we often ignore boundaries. It is good to know your limitations and accept what can and cannot be done. The number Eight in the Tarot deck describes boundaries, limitations and situations that are inherently intractable.

There are six cards in the Tarot deck with the number eight and each of them depicts a situation where you can gain by simply understanding the boundaries in a given situation, relationship or an important area of your life. In addition to two cards in the Major Arcana (Strength, numbered 8 and The Moon, numbered 18), there is an Eight of Swords, Wands, Pentacles and Cups. Read below to see the boundaries that each one of these eights signifies when it appears in your Tarot reading. .
STRENGTH
This card is the foundation of the other cards bearing an eight that follow it. It truly asks you to know your own strength. Are you taking on too much? Are you disorganized and in jeopardy of losing everything you have?

The card shows a woman petting a lion. There is no display of physical intensity in this picture. The woman's inner strength has caused the king of the beasts to lovingly submit. Knowing when to give in is just as important as knowing when to politely take control of a situation.
THE MOON
This is the card of the animal part of our brain where intellect and reason are controlled by emotion and instinct. When this card appears you will be forced to deal with your gut feelings and how they interfere with your daily routine.

Are you blocking yourself from success because you are wallowing in negative emotions? Understanding self-awareness can open your eyes to seeing how your behavior affects everyone else as well as yourself. This is a card that insists you develop empathy for others.
EIGHT OF WANDS
The bright blue sky shows a groundless scene of eight walking sticks, or wands, being tossed in the air. Are they rising or falling? We do not know. But what we do know is that there are too many of them to control. When you are feeling creative, you often have many great ideas. The Eight of Wands illustrates how having too many options can often simply lead to chaos.
EIGHT OF CUPS
This is the card that insists you move on from an overwhelming emotional situation. In connecting with the emotions illustrated in card number 18, this card illustrates the face on the Moon watching a man leave behind a stack of cups. Cups are the Tarot's indicator of emotions.

Where others may try to establish an intimacy that you neither want nor should allow, you must enforce boundaries. The thing to do is to simply walk away, to anywhere else, as a way to establish good boundaries. The limits of love and friendship should protect your emotions, not leave them vulnerable.
EIGHT OF SWORDS

The gloomy slate gray sky underscores that boundaries ignored can lead to isolation. Swords represent ideas and communication. Often our harsh words or attitude will cut us off from other people. No matter how deeply dear an idea or philosophy may be to you, other people who see it differently are entitled to their own opinion.

The illustration of a blindfolded and bound woman indicates a closed mind and all discussion ended. When you demand that people heed your word, people may not be around much longer. The boundaries you set up might be constricting you.
EIGHT OF PENTACLES
The way to wealth is through simple hard work. This card shows you that focus and persistence are limitations that benefit your overall wellbeing. There is simplicity in this card that underscores getting things done. When it is time to work and not play, the focus on the task at hand will bring in positive energy. The boundary of self-discipline is one of great rewards.

Is the Tarot Still Relevant in the 21st Century?

Posted by: "Lady Nightshayde" LadyNightshayde9@aol.com   nightshayde99

Is the Tarot Still Relevant in the 21st Century?

With its ancient symbols of Emperors and Queens, Swords and Knights, the tarot deck may seem like an outdated relic from the past. This is quite far from the truth. The illustrations and titles of each card may often come from a different era in human history, but they quite easily apply to contemporary life. While the cards were designed with the situations of the time when the world was young, they resonate today with timeless symbols that can be applied to our busy modern world. From discovering intimate details about the future of your love life to painting the big picture of where your career is going in a high-tech universe, a tarot reading illustrates the cityscape of your life.
One must look at each image in the tarot deck as an archetype. A castle painted in antiquity meant the same thing to the king and queen that your house or apartment mean to you. Children appear in the tarot deck and contemporary psychology spends much of its resources discussing the inner child we all privilege or punish. Centuries of tarot readings prepared the world for Freud's theories and together these define our contemporary consciousness.
Some of the deck's most ancient illustrations can, using their illustrated subjects, be seen as archetypes for some of the most contemporary situations. Read the analysis below to see if your modern life was painted correctly by the ancient world.
The Hermit
While The Hermit card depicts a man dressed in robes alone on a mountaintop and sees with the aid of an ancient lantern light, imagine surfing the internet for knowledge, the lone glowing screen of information lighting up your darkened room. He might even be wearing a bathrobe.
Pentacles
It is easy to read the coins in tarot as metaphors for money, but look a little deeper. The star engraved on each coin is what makes it a pentacle and is actually indicative of money passing through our hands as energy to assist personal growth. The five pointed star illustrated on pentacle cards is actually a continuous line with no breaks, no beginning and no end, like a dollar circulating from consumer to retailer to producer and back to consumer.
Swords
In an era when the police carry guns, swords are a quaint notion of defending a medieval fortress. But the archetype of the sword goes far beyond its military use. Words that turn a critique into an argument are called cutting. A partner saying something that hurts is said to have a sharp tongue. There might be more instances in contemporary life for a metaphorical sword to hurt us than there was when the tarot deck was first illustrated.
The Empress
On a throne surrounded by ancient symbols, The Empress hardly seems like a girlfriend you would add to your Facebook or MySpace friends list. And yet there she is, on a throne in the middle of a field, a forest far behind, holding a bejweled staff, wearing a diamond-encrusted tiara and draped in some outlandish fashion. Her purse has the symbol for Venus, reminding everyone that this shopaholic princess enjoys being a girl. Isn't every mall in America overrun with aspiring Empresses each weekend?
The Emperor
The Emperor on a throne might serve a fairy tale well, but how does the modern world of elected leaders in business suits reflect the tarot's indicator of certain and forceful masculine energy? Anyone who has ever had an imperious boss who barked ultimatums from his office chair might swear they saw a heavy crown and long grey beard in between the shouts for more coffee coming from behind that desk.
The Devil
In a world where extreme horror movies outpace any ancient notion of a terrifying demonic force, The Devil card in tarot reveals some subtleties that reflect contemporary horrors. In the card, a man and a woman are both chained to the feet of the Devil's throne. This is a metaphor for addiction. The Devil card appears in contemporary readings that reveal someone in your life chained to a drug or alcohol problem and possibly chaining you to their disease through codependency.
The Knight Of Wands
A man in armor riding on horseback carrying a tree branch is not exactly someone you see on your way to class or the office every weekday. The ancient symbol of creative inspiration is something, though, that will come in handy for current times should it appear in your reading. Wands are seen as metaphors for resourcefulness and entrepreneurial spirit. The ancients crafted useful tools out of fallen tree branches, walking staffs to assist arduous journeys. The metaphor for using a creative idea to become a success is as modern an idea as a fast internet connection. Knights were the medieval message bearers, defenders of territory and seekers of glory on behalf of their kingdom. If your boss believes in tarot, let him or her know when you have drawn the Knight of Wands card — your inspirations about where to go could lead the company to great successes.
The Hanged Man
Far from a card depicting a lynching, The Hanged Man card shows a man hanging upside down, tied to a tree by his ankles. On closer examination, the tree seems to have been constructed from timber, not grown from the ground. And with his hands behind him, we cannot tell if the man is bound or simply hiding his hands. A halo surrounds him, making further contemplation at least consider that he is in a self-induced predicament. The Hanged Man card represents those life situations about which we complain that we put ourselves in from the beginning, often almost willingly. If any card of the deck describes modern life the best, this one might take the prize.
No card in the tarot is devoid of meaning for contemporary life. It is up to your tarot reader to apply the ancient archetypes and symbols to your current world and specific situation.

Water Meditation

Water Meditation

Water that bathed the Buddha statues is saved and thrown on the faithful to cleanse them of evil spirits. Take a small box of baking soda and two cups of sea salt, and add them to warm bath water. Play meditation or temple bell music, and burn a new white candle. As you slip into the bath, let the warm water engulf you. Visualize your worries, your guilt and self-criticism, and all your frustrations fall away from you into the water. Feel how much lighter and freer you feel as the water gently laps around you. Stay in the bath as long as you feel comfortable.

God/dess Beads

Posted by: "Lady Nightshayde" LadyNightshayde9@aol.com   nightshayde99

Mon Jul 4, 2011 7:35 pm (PDT)

God/dess Beads

1/2 cup of plain flour
1 tablespoon cooking or sea salt
3 tablespoon water
3 cups very finely chopped fresh petals or leaves of herbs
Essential oil of your choice

Mix the flour, salt and water together in a small bowl until it forms a firm dough. Knead in the chopped herbs and a few drops of essential oil. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and put in the fridge for 20 minutes. Pinch off pieces of dough and shape them into tiny balls, cylinders or whatever shape you want. Gently poke a hole through the bead with a thick needle dipped in EO. Air-dry for 3-5 days of until completely hard. Apply a coat of nail varnish or similar to protect and preserve your beads and to make them gleam. You are ready now string the beads (I find dental floss the best but very fine fishing line is good also) to make anything you desire---bracelets, necklaces, tree garlands and room dividers! Keep your Magickal Intention in mind the whole time you're making and stringing and I even sing to the beads during the processes!
