to all my brothers and sisters i found an article on drawing down the power of the full moon to aide in my magic tonight but it wasnt alot of information on how exactly to do it can anyone help me out PLEASE? if u have any pointers send it to answer this or directly to my email michele,mehr@yahoo.com thank u for ure advise and help blessed be and have a good day !

Thank you Grandfather Oak for the information I will try to contact them ASAP. There used to be these 2 wiccan stores in Katy I think about 5 years ago but I dont remember their names. Maybe you mite remember them?

I am starting a Holistic Psychic fair starting in October with 2 events. One is the Holistic Psychic Fair, and the other event will be a Wiccan Fair. If you interested in being at one or both of these event please contact me at this E-mail address. darkmoresnight@yahoo.com
If the event goes well I will be setting up these event every month. So please check think about it. If you had a shop and you closed and you still have merchandice here is a great way to get back up and running.
I am also looking for Psychic, Mediums, Ghost hunters and any one that like to work with crafts. I have several table spaces availible for vendors.

Some Native American tribes knew that the sturgeon of the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain were most readily caught during this full Moon. Others called it the Green Corn Moon or the Grain Moon.

The fishing tribes are given credit for the naming of this Moon, since sturgeon, a large fish of the Great Lakes and other major bodies of water, were most readily caught during this month. Symbols: Fox; Rice; Red
 
About Inari: Among the Japanese, Inari is invoked to bring a long life, blood-red being her sacred hue.
In death, she guides and protects faithful spirits. Portrayed as a vixen, Inari also has strong correlations
with love, an emotion that survives even the grave. Rice is a common offering for Inari, as it is a crop
which she brings fertility.
 
To Do Today: The Obon is a festival for the dead in Japan, where people hold family reunions and religious
rituals to honor their departed ancestors and dance to comfort the spirits. These observances are fairly
easy to duplicate. Gather with friends or family, and include rice cakes and fruit as part of your menu
planning. Leave out an extra platter of food both for the spirits of the departed and to please Inari.
 
To increase Inari's love in any relationship, or to draw a lover to you, make this charm: Find a red-colored
stone (agate is a good choice), or any red-colored piece of clothing. Put this under the light of the full moon
to charge it with emotional fulfillment. Then bless the item saying,
 
"Inari, be ever with me.
By this stone (cloth) of red, let love be fed.
When at (on) my side, let love there abide"
 
Put the stone in your pocket (so its at your side) and carry it when meeting with that special someone.

~Homeric Hymn To Athena
 
The middle of August is an important point in many ritual calendars: the Christian, Roman,
Celtic and Greek. Among the Greeks, this was the time when the great
feast of Athena was celebrated. Called the Panathenia, it involved all
people of the Goddess' city in some fashion. One of the most powerful
roles was played by the town matrons, who spent six months or more
weaving a new garment for the Goddess. On the morning of the festival,
which represented the Goddess' birthday, the statue of Athena was
removed from her temple on the rocky Acropolis and washed ceremoniously
in the sea. Only women could witness the reclothing of the Goddess'
statue with the lovely new garment. Athena was then borne ceremoniously
back to her temple.
 
This festival
symbolically honored women's economic contributions to the city's
wealth, for without the endless spinning and weaving of women, there
would be far less wealth to celebrate. For Athena was a Goddess of
craftspeople - of those who create a city's wealth. She was also a
warrior who defended the riches she created. We can learn from this
combination of apparently masculine and feminine traits within a single
figure that it is most important to both create and to protect that
creation.
