Greetings All,

Thanks all for the responses - reckon I have more than I can possibly cope with in the time I have for the moment. Certainly tells me (I suspect) just about what there is to know.

Subsisto

Hello Ken

I have read the article on Wikipedia and would like to respond to your
comment. When I was given these rites, I received them in good faith and
felt a very strong connection to the ancestors of the Inca, I connected into
the mountains where I had lived as a child and felt a very strong connection
to the land of Peru.

Although this article says these rites are essentially made up... it is my
belief that if enough people believe in the underlying spirituality of them
then they take on an energy of their own and become powerful in themselves.

I myself took these rites because I had spent time living in Peru and felt a
pull to reconnect to the land and these rites helped me do that and I now
offer them to others who want to take responsibility for their own path.

This ceremony that I am holding is not about the Munay-Ki but is a
traditional fire ceremony held by many shamanic and pagan cultures to rid
ourselves of negativity and I am holding it just after Imbolc when we are
all trying to plant new seeds for our growth into the coming year and shed
ourselves of those traits we no longer want or require.

I love putting on ceremony's and rites both channelled from spirit and
gained from shamans I have worked with and love to share them with others in
the hope that by doing this we can create a community of support around us.

I would hope that you or anyone else would not begrudge me charging for my
time and facilities to put on these events and workshops and support me in
my right to live my path, which is one of service and sharing knowledge with
others.

On that note I would also like to share with you all a new Internet radio
station - www.theshamanicvoice.com - which shares shamanic wisdom with
anyone who has an ear to listen.

I wish you and everyone else very Bright Blessings at this special time of
Imbolc.

Have a beautiful day :)

Love & Blessings
