Has anyone purchased spirits bound to vessels?  Is it for real?  I'm really
considering it.

GAIA:

I guess i'd have to ask, WHY -- I honestly mean no offense, but i can't
help wondering:

a. Why you'd *want* to contribute to / participate in the idea of
"binding" spirits (or *using* "bound" spirits) at all;

b. Why you'd want to participate in "binding them" to an object, when
they are (presumably) dead souls who are (by virtue of their being
"bound to an object") being tortured and prevented from "moving on" as
all Spirits are supposed to, and considering that Pagans are supposed to
honor and attune with "natural cycles" -- including the "natural cycle"
of Life-to-Death-to-(Re)-Birth;

c. Why you seem to think it's ok to "purchase" spirits;

d. Why you'd want to "purchase" such souls, which is/ would be after
all, a form of SLAVERY???

Gaia,
I mean no offense either, however I think you've jumped to conclusions and
formed opinions before you have the facts.
Assuming this is legitimate;
According to what is posted, these are NOT human spirits that will incarnate,
they are higher beings that wish to be attached to a HUMAN person, but have come
forward to be housed in a vessel of some sorts, often times temporary until they
become attached to a soul, or become a companion.  So I too had a huge problem
with the word "Binding" or "Bound", but I actually think this word is not
entirely accurate for what is done..
I do not want a slave, I want a friend who can strengthen my weaknesses.
According to the listings, spirits such as Ilmu Khodam want to serve people, and
be helpers of sorts.  There is an entire tradition of magik based on Khodams.

Why would these things be for sale?  Well, because witches need to be paid for
their time like anyone else.  It takes time, and talent I do not have to conjure
these entities.  Do I have to be a highly proficent witch to utalize the skills
and results of others efforts?  No, I just have to be smart.

I once read an account in a book about a spirit energy who was bound to her ashes because she was dangerous to the living and, I think from memory, refused to "move on".  I think she was bound so she could stop causing misery and harm until she learned the error of her ways.

Not all energies will or even want to move on without being forced to, which some people who cross spirits over take as being a line they don't cross because they are forcing their will on another *shrugs* personally I'm not sure where I stand on all this, but I could see the twisted logic in how this particular account of "binding" was presented.

Hi All,
Yesterday's card was the Empress, Gendron Tarot; and I'm really quite sure what this one speaks too, for the last few days I have been listening to William's interview with Nikki Scully, A Western Shaman and initiate in the Osirian Mysteries; and after listening through the interview a dozen times or more; I find myself quite convinced this women is the genuine article.

At one point in the conversation, where-in William has just commented on how the Temples in Egypt where places of "WorkShip" places intended to be sites of intense inner work. Nikki replies with this most interesting comment.
It's all about really discovering our own divinity, and the responsibility that comes with that! The ability to respond to the crisis on the planet, to find appropriate solutions, to look through the eyes of Thoth or any of those Neteru. ...
There was such a beautiful lilt in her voice as she spoke those words, "and the responsibility that comes with that."

I think one of the surest signs of a snake oil salesman, is that he is offering freedom from responsibility; hum the Magick tune, eat the Magick fruit and you can glom down all the hamburgers you want and still loose weight;

While there is a relentless integrity that goes with walking a true path; I have tried to both follow this, and communicate it when I read, or speak of reading; when I pick up a deck to pull cards for you, any one of you; my obligation to Innana and to you is the same, to faithfully share what has been shown; after all it was not for my benefit that what has been given to me has been shown, but for yours; as what is shown can often be quite painful this is not always so easy as it might seem as first blush.

Anyhow, when Nikki spoke thus, "discovering our own divinity, and the responsibility that comes with that!; it deeply resonated for me, deeply resonated with my own vision of my own path as a sukkal of Innana. I do intend to spend the rest of this year immersing myself as much as is possible in this woman's work, http://www.shamanicjourneys.com/index.php   and I have great hope for the doors that will open and the paths that may lay beyond them.

Blessings, BB.
