Hello Ladies,

Its that time of the month again :)
You are invited to the upcoming wonderful Mumma Moon womens circle.

All women are invited, including your female loved ones.
We will honor the new moon in Cancer, sign of the home maker, Yule mid-Winter Solstice & the birth of the Oak King .

At the time of this ritual the moon will be waxing, yet we will focus on a Solstice ritual, the reenactment battle of the Oak & Holly King to mark the turn of the seasonal wheel, honoring both hemispheres with the time of balance & renewal, ridding ourselves of attachments that no longer serve us.

* Please note we are gathering 2 and half weeks after Yule & 1 week after the new moon. As I'm away on location filming until then, my apologies.

Don't miss out, this circle is only held monthly !!!

We honor the new moon every month, we honor our hearts, our souls, our minds,our spirit & our life's purpose.

No need to book in advance, although it would be appreciated if you would please rsvp at least 24 hours prior, of your chosen MUMMA MOON venue & of your intention of attendance/non attendance as some venues have limited numbers.

WHAT
MUMMA MOON womens circles are a place where women traditionally gather each month, to meditate, consult oracles, share their experiences & channel wisdom for themselves each other & the wider community.
The new moon is the optimal time to do this, as it is the beginning of the monthly lunar cycle, the astrological ‘power period’ for setting clear manifestation intentions, when our extrasensory gifts such as clairvoyance (clear seeing), clairsentience (clear sensing), clairaudience (clear hearing) & intuition (inner knowing) are also at their most heightened.
Each circle is therefore an opportunity to reconnect with your inner self, other women & the greater cycles as we journey around the astrological mandala,working with the themes & lessons of each sign & corresponding sabbat if any,to achieve greater wholeness & balance in our lives.
MUMMA MOON women's circles are made up of varying activities depending on the circle, they can include, spell crafting, potion making, crystals, healing,candle magick, drumming, chanting, hedge witchery, cooking, dancing, singing,channeling, massage, psychic/aura/medium ship readings, esoteric & occult studies, 2012 & beyond predictions, healing of the womb, of the heart & much
much more.

I very much believe everything happens for a reason & do look forward to seeing you in one of our beautiful MUMMA MOON women's circles.

A MUMMA MOON page will be offered under the heading SERVICES detailing all of the many questions asked about Mumma Moon, this will reduce & ultimately after transition, eliminate Sera's emails. There are plans currently underway to create a mailing system so you can join & then you will automatically receive updates via newsletter re all the events that I offer.

In many Celtic-based traditions of neopaganism, there is the enduring legend of the battle between the Oak King and the Holly King. These two mighty rulers fight for supremacy as the Wheel of the Year turns each season. At the Winter Solstice, or Yule, the Oak King kills the Holly King, and then reigns until Midsummer, or Litha. Once the Summer Solstice arrives, the Holly King returns to do battle with the old king, and defeats him. The Holly King them rules until Yule.
In some Wiccan traditions, the Oak King and the Holly King are seen as dual aspects of the Horned God. Each of these twin aspects rules for half the year, battles for the favor of the Goddess, and then retires to nurse his wounds for the next six months, until it is time for him to reign once more.
Often, these two entities are portrayed in familiar ways - the Holly King frequently appears as a woodsy version of Santa Claus. He dresses in red, wears a sprig of holly in his tangled hair, and is sometimes depicted driving a team of eight stags. The Oak King is portrayed as a fertility god, and occasionally appears as the Green Man or other lord of the forest.
Ultimately, while these two beings do battle all year long, they are two essential parts of a whole. Despite being enemies, without one, the other would no longer exist.
