Spellcraft magazine and your thoughts

The editors of "Spellcraft" magazine kindly sent me quite a few extra copies so I thought I'd give these away in exchange for some information (see questions below). I have a feature article in this issue of the magazine on ritual. It's an interview I conducted with Tori Collins and Rev Peter Own-Jones from the BBC on their experiences.
If you have an opinion on pagan magazines I'd like to hear about it.
You can either share your responses here or head on over to our 'Page' on Facebook and offer your opinions.

Winners will be judged by the quality of their responses.

What do you think of pagan magazines compared to other magazines?
What types of magazine writing do you like to read and/or you'd like to see??
Does cover price really influence your decision to buy if the content is good?
How can the pagan community contribute to pagan publications?

I have always enjoyed buying magazines with a pagan content. In fact I
probably have kept all of my copies as great reference material.
I think the quality of those that have been produced in Australia are of
very high quality as I have also purchased magazines from other countries
and find the Aussie ones cmparable if not better than ay others that I have
read.
The price for thse has always been affordable and like everything else, if I
really want to read it I will buy it.
I am still old school and prefer a glossy mag even if I do have to wait for
a bi monthly copy.
I can then take it with me on travels or while I am enjoying a coffee.
I have enjoyed all articles and think that all editors have always tried to
provide a good overviewof many different views of pagan beliefs. in the end
you cnat please evrybody and our path is so electic that there iwll
inevitably always be someone who feels left out or not catered to.
I would like to see more state focus and small local groups have an
opportunity to be mentioned so that local people can find contacts in their
own areas.
Sometimes it can appear that the only activity is in the big cities. The
commjunity pages were always a welcomed edition to the mags and as I
personally was involved with a local group of witches we always attempted to
have an add in each month so that people could find out aht we were doing.
These magazines are still an ideal way to move into the path. They are none
threatening ( no personal involvement ) and allow people to make up their
own minds about what is presented.
I lament to death of the glossy mags - I know the world is changing but I
personally do not wish for everything to go ' online" - I think I spend
enough time looking at the laptop screen and snuggling up in bed with my mag
is something that I am going to miss if they dissappear.
Thankyou for this opportunity to give you my views.
Good work and bright blessings for a brilliant future.
Regards,
Renata Daniel
