MM Fran,

That is wonderful news about Dee's progress and how impressively he's
beating the odds! I'm so glad to hear it, for all of your sakes.

All of this is a HUGE improvement over the man they said we wouldn't
have by Christmas.

The odds, he beat them. Because of all of you. THANK YOU!

Lady N, why is this going out in a group post ??
and why was it approved, when it is not a message, not even
chainmail, it is an advertisement?

Blessings be upon you
)O(
Amber

When a person joins the group, their messages are moderated for approximately 2 to 3 weeks, since spam is usually sent out in their first weeks of membership. This person has been a member since 2006, and their account has probably been hacked by a spambot. This member has been put on moderated status temporarily to keep any more messages of this type from going out to the group.

If we had to moderate every message for over 1450 members, we would be up 24/7.

i absolutely agree, continue to do what you are doing, and joining this group may be the answer or the beginning of the
answer that you so greatly desire.
She answers in her own time. it is not up to us to prod or poke her.
sometimes the silence is a big part of the overall answer.
try to remain patient, and leaning on your new group members
may be a big help.
Blessings be upon you

I've come to the group once before when I really needed help and received ti. I'm hoping that you all can help again. Tried to reach a local group and didn't get much response. I am trying to start over and need the guidance from the LADY and am not sure if she is hearing my pleas. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Lady,

This is a problem I also deal with. I was once told to allow these thoughts in but not to hang onto them, just let them come and go. I use guided meditations to help me ground and get me into a meditative state this usually help me slow my mind down quite a bit. good luck

I have a personal issue with this particular request and it goes back to the harm none rule. By compelling someone, or urging forcefully, you are imposing your will on theirs. This would be like her doing a spell to compel you not to go to your favorite place because you both liked going there and she doesn't want to see you. I would bet you wouldn't appreciate it any more than she would. Ultimately this comes down to your own conscience and how you feel about it but before I do any spell I think about how I would feel if someone did it to me.

Please don't think I'm saying there is nothing that can be done. Consider your focus. Rather than focusing on the way your goal comes to light, her confessing, why not focus on the ultimate goal, the truth coming to light. My suggestion would be to change your focus slightly. Do your spell focusing solely on the truth becoming known no matter how it happens. In this you not only save your karma because your not forcing someone else to do something they don't really want to but you may come out of it ahead because of the good karma you're creating.

That would be my suggestion if I were in your situation and my personal view point. Hopefully you'll find it helpful.

Ariana

If Spring is Your Thing

If spring is your thing
There's a land of weather
Softened by heather,
Where dreamy drizzle
Tickles the whimsical
Fancy feather.
Where spring's a lucky ring
Of gold whin in Wicklow
And dear shamrocks grow,
Down about Bantry Bay
Up around Lough Neagh
And over Hillsborough.
Spring's always in full swing
And the sun doesn't glare
At so much green where
Pure ribbons of gilting
Upon rivers lilting
Brighten grassy glens so fair.

What were we discussing?
Sweet brambly patch jams,
Evergreen pastures spread of lambs,
Wild violets, and salmon runs swift,
Fresh fields of clover adrift…
Is it spring flowing from my pen in hand?
Or, is it Ireland?

Yeah, I coulda sold out and banked that sweet Kenny G coin, man, but that's not my groove, baby. Like, I gotta stay true to my roots, go where my heart tells me.

Like, I bet he can hit those high notes from that curtain rod, Mark and Christal S.

expiration date

Merry Meet Group,

9 years ago i set a spell into motion, and the spell came to fruitation. (When they say be careful what you wish for, they are not kidding..lol)anyhow, my question is do spells have an expiration date?
Does a spell cease once it comes to pass? or is there something that must be done to close a spell off.

Mod note: edited to trim messages. Please remember to do so, thank you!

personally, think that a spell is just a spell, but sometimes, that timeline for it is impossible for us to see...and who is to say that that timeline was not intended, we just didn't hage the firesight for it. at that time. 20/20  .. hindsight is such a wonderful thing. if only it was forsight...so we have to be careful about what we set into motion...that karma has a way of rolling over us and biting us in the ass on the rip over sometimes.

Blessings be upon you

Question About Casting Spells

Posted by: "JacquelineR" jacquelinerocco@yahoo.com   jacquelinerocco

Mon Mar 21, 2011 2:11 pm (PDT)

I know we're not supposed to cast spells on others without their consent.
But, would a spell to bring an abuser or criminal to justice fall into this? You wouldn't be doing this spell to cause harm to them just that they be brought to justice.
Or, what about a spell to help a court case come out on someone's favor?
Since you're not doing anything to cause harm would it be ok? Should we be even not doing spells to help someone find love without their knowledge?
Help!

Doing spells to bring justice to someone is my terms help the fates with a
little push. It's kinda like going into the police station to remind the officer
in charge of a case that you are still wanting answers. To help a court case I
feel depending the reason might fall into this as well. To find love is
different that is all about that person and doing a spell for them without their
consent is ... well, I think is amoral. That my take on it.

Right Janine. I was kinda thinking what you wrote. I think almost every spell whether direct or indirect is involving other persons. As far as the love spell, I think it would ok to cast a spell for yourself to find love but don't cast a spell  for someone specific to fall for you. Even still if I cast a spell for myself to find love doesn't this also somewhat involve whomever I end up with? But, I didn't cast a spell on any man specifically, I just did a spell for myself to find true love. I just read about these spells & thought I would ask everyone their opinions. I would never do a spell on someone specifically unless they asked and I definately wouldn't do anything to bring on harm. I think if you're not causing harm then we're good right? Cause what you do good or bad comes back to you 3x.

Blessings,
Jackie

The ethics of spellwork for those who care about such things are usually
based on not manipulating someone's free will. Hence you can ask for
justice to be served, or the 'rapist' (or whomever) to be caught, etc., or
for love to come to you, but not for 'Joe' to fall in love you. You are
asking for things to fall right for justice to occur, or yourself to find
love, but you are not asking for a specific person to be forced into a
certain situation. More like developing qualities in yourself or being
'led' to situations so you can find the right person, or allowing the
mechanisms of law to operate more efficiently (or intuitively or 'luckily'
or whatever...), in these examples. My take, anyway...

One grey area in this is binding, which does limit someone's free will -
usually against him harming you. But I, at least, justify it in principle
by the fact that you're not doing anything unless he crosses bounds he
should not, in order to harm you, in which case you have every right to
protect yourself. You are not only not encouraging him into a behaviour
which he would be bound from, but trying to actively prevent it by various
means, so if he would force his way through those barriers to do so, of
course you are going to protect yourself. I prefer to exhaust all mundane
means and magickal ones like wards, shielding, invisibility, or such before
doing a binding. And I'd use it only for protection. But each person has
their own view on such matters.

Miki

The way I see it is that if someone messes with me or my family, all bets are off. While I would not cause harm to anyone, I would do bindings or similar spells. I would not cast a love spell for a particular person, though. I saw an episode on a TV show once, can't remember which show, that was about a man going to the "Swamp Witch" for a potion to make the woman he loved love him back. The Witch didn't charge much for this potion, and the man was surprised. He got what he asked for, and the woman wouldn't leave him alone. He went back to the Witch to ask for an "antidote," which turned out to be pretty expensive. The man asked the Witch why, and she said "sometimes we get what we ask for, and don't want it after all."
