April 30th at 7pm at Flagstaff Hill, South Australia

Samhain is the time when the veil between the world of men and world of spirit is at its thinnest. It's New Year's Eve for Wiccans, Witches and Pagans and we're celebrating!

Oak and Mistletoe will be holding a fun, but spiritual, Samhain ritual and a shared agape afterwards at the covenstead.

If you're Pagan friendly and would like to enjoy this wonderful Sabbat ritual with us, please email me for address details. We ask all attendees to bring a plate of yummy finger foods to share, a gold coin donation to help expenses and your smile.

Smiles,
Amethyst

Re: Sex Party Posters Ordered Down at Church Polling Booth

Thanks Brett for the update and follow-up on this.

There's obviously many similarities to the discrimination experienced by the Sex Party and pagans in everyday life. Is this political party supportive of pagan philosophy?

I confess to knowing very little about them, except the odd interview I've seen, where there was an advocacy of personal freedom.

Vinum sabbati,
Tim

The candidate will be approaching the NSW Electorial office today to see what their options are, they are also looking in to see if there was any breaches of the discrimination act(s) as well. It was a clear breach of the electoral act however. They have already released a press release which can be read here ( http://www.sexparty.org.au/index.php/news/asp-news-a-updates/1043 ).

This ment the posters in question had to be approved as "the sex party endorses independent candidate X" by the electoral commission (which they were).
