nice... thank you. My children use the plastic cauldrons for their altars. They aren't allowed to burn anything yet anyways, and they really like using them. Happy Samhain everyone!

Raven,
Strawberry wine is tricky to find.
Here's one you might try as you can order on line.
http://www.dcwine.com/index. php?main_ page=product_ info&products_ id=202
You and your hubby might want to try making your own! You can make it with
frozen strawberries and have it ready for Yule!
There are many recipes on the internet for strawberry wine.
Another I like to make is Lavender Mead - Honey wine with the colour, scent and
taste of lavender. Wonderful for ritual!
Brightest Blessings,

Stormy,
Thanks for the information, I will keep these places in mind. We ski in
Steamboat Springs, so that is a place I will be able to find when we go down
there this winter. I love the Rockies! Every year at least once we go up through
Rocky Mountain National Park. I managed to catch a picture of an Aberts
squirrel, which park and game told me was very rare to see them out where there
are people. I sent them the pictures of the Aberts and they used them in an
issue of their Childrens monthly newsletter. That was just tops for me!! I love
the sounds during the summer of all the different birds that are no where else
but there. Its something I look forward too!!
When my husband showed me where Butch and Sundance robbed that train I could
feel the energy and could go back and see it happening. It was a clever place
as it comes around a bend and there is a mountain there where they could hide
until the train came to a stop. If I can find the picture I took of the area I
will share it with you! My husbands name is Butch, and he has always loved the
stories of those two. When his and mine energies are in sync there is a lot that
he picks up from me. I have psychic gifts, which also run in his family, and I
think I have helped make his stronger!!
Saratoga, Wyoming has a natural hot spring, but you don't exactly come out of it
smelling sweet and herbally! But people from all over the world travel there for
its healing elements. I have talked to others when I have visited to find out
what all the springs do for them and a lot of them come there because it helps
their arthritis. The spot where the water comes out of the ground reaches temps
of 108 degrees..its wonderful!! Thanks for reminding me that I do live in an
amazing part of the US. Sometimes one needs a reminder of all the glory that
surrounds them. I think I get bored with it all (believe it or not), but I think
it happens to everyone when they get too used to their surroundings!
Is there a Strawberry wine that you know of?
Blessed Be
Raven

Elder's Meditation of the Day
"Mothers must protect the lives they have helped to bring into the world."
-- Haida Gwaii, Traditional Circle of Elders
Every child is subject to the seeds each adult plants in his/her mind. If we plant praise and "you can do it", the child will grow up with certain predictable behavior patterns. If we plant ideas that there's something wrong with you or you're good for nothing, the child will grow up with predictable behavior patterns. We need to honor and respect the mothers who protect the children and plant positive seeds for their growth.
Great Spirit, bless each mother and give her courage and faith.

If you're having a Halloween party be sure
to diffuse some uplifting essential oils.
Orange, Bergamot, or Mandarin, with a drop
of Cinnamon will help to put everyone in a cheerful mood.

Halloween, The History and Customs of Halloween
"Halloween is an annual celebration, but just what is it actually a celebration of?" The name is actually a corruption of All Hollow's Eve, Hollow's Day being the present All Saints Day observed on November 1. As you can surmise from the title, this site will answer all of your Halloween questions and get you ready for Trick-or-Treat fun. By the way, trick or treating is thought to have originated from a 'ninth-century European custom called souling. On November 2, All Souls Day, early Christians would walk from village to village begging for "soul cakes," made out of square pieces of bread with currants.' However, even if you'd like to be authentic, remember all treats must be wrapped; today's little beggars might not appreciate currant cake as much as they would M&M's!
